Chapter 10: Hope
(Warning: swearing)
(Third person)
The others wouldn't let Roman shut himself away in fear that he would do something stupid. They all sat in complete silence, a sniffle or a sob every now and then. The officer leaned against the wall, waiting for a call from his co-worker. Soon enough, his phone went off. He quickly awnsered. "What's the report? What? What?! Foot prints? So... I see. Thank you." He hung up and looked up at the many faces that faced him. "There was no body found. My men found tracks leading towards town. Your friend isn't dead!" The house erupted in sighs of relief and shouts. Roman cried, hope filling his heart once again. "We'll make sure to put in the missing persons report again and begin looking immidietly."
After the officer left, the group started hugging and comforting eachother. Jordan and Chrissy thanked the gods their son was alright. "We should help in the search!" Patton suggested, getting up. "I agree" Logan said, getting up as well. Roman launched off the couch. "I will save thee my love!" He shouted and took off outside, climbing into his car. The others followed, getting their own cars amd taking off into different directions. Roman drove through the nearby neighborhoods, keen on finding his love.
~Couple hours later~
The group retired back to Virgil's house, sighing in udder defeat. They had no luck finding their friend and it was getting rather late. Roman was the last of them to turn in for the night, mad at himself. "Where the hell could he be?"
Very short, but important
