Taehyung left the Park mansion  very early that morning. Few minutes after he was gone, Nanny Ji hye came to see Jimin in his room. As soon as she saw him, she suddenly hugged him tightly causing Jimin to feel a bit confused at her sudden burst of emotion. She smiled at him.

"I'm proud of you. You did it. You were able to make Taehyung fall for you. Now, your family will be free from his revenge"

Jimin sighed. He had a complex look in his eyes.

"I did didn't i?" He heaved. "I don't know but after being with Taehyung for a while, I feel a bit selfish that I'm keeping him away from his true path. My father did a terrible thing to his family and he deserves to be punished for it. Taehyung doesn't have to hold himself back"

Nanny Ji hye flashed him a small smile. "So what do you want to do?"

"Iguess i'll follow his decisions. I'll just let him do whatever he wants"

Nanny Ji hye hugged him tightly again. "My Jimin is all grown up and about to get married"

She looked at his ring smiling fondly. "I'm proud of you. By the way, when do you plan to tell the family?"

"Tonight! Father is coming back from his trip. I'll invite everyone for dinner and then Taehyung and I will break the news to them"

"That's lovely" Nanny Ji hye cried out excitedly then she paused wearing a mischevious look on her face.

"I wonder how your brother is going to handle it"

Jimin grinned "Believe me Nanny I'm looking forward to that as well"

Taehyung opened the door to his house only to stop short at the sight of three people staring at him with expectations in their eyes. They rushed to him crowding his personal space.

He felt uncomfortable just with the way they were standing and looking at with as if they were waiting for him to say something.

"What?" He barked.

Jin frowned looking unimpressed. "Talk to us. We know you ordered a ring from Milan two days ago so spill!"

"Yes master, tell us what happened" Yeontan said looking absolutely frustrated.

Taehyung suddenly beamed, his rectangular smile wider than normal.

"He said yes!"

"What?" The three chorused looking joyful.

"I proposed and he said yes!"

They suddenly rushed up to him hugging him tightly and shouting at the top of their voices.

"I'm so happy. Doctor Angel is going to live with us now!" He shouted.

Taehyung looked at him and fondled his cheeks.

"You seem to like that very much."

Yeontan's face was shining from happiness. "I do. I really do. I love brother Jimin a lot. I know he's going to make you very happy"

Taehyung chuckled. "I know it too"

"Congratulations brother. I think we should begin with the wedding arrangements now that everything between you and Jimin is settled"

"Jimin said we should take it slow. We haven't dated enough before getting engaged so he wants us to wait a bit more"

Jin nodded. "That makes sense. If you need anything just let me know. My baby brother is getting married before me. I feel a bit envious"

He pretended to shed fake tears and Taehyung stared at him amused.

"Hyung, you can get married too. Don't you have someone in your life?"

Jin paused and his face turned red. "You know I can't date. I'm too busy"

Taehyung nodded. "True but aren't you interested in anyone?"

Jin suddenly froze, his face getting a lot more red. "Well...there is someone I've had my eye on for a while but he seems too caught up in his own world, I don't think he even notices me"

"Why don't you talk to him? Who knows something might change" Taehyung urged.

"Maybe but I really don't have the courage. He's too...intense for me"

Taehyung smiled at him. "Then maybe you can loosen him up"

Jin blushed. He didn't seem intent on continuing the conversation.

"Okay then, I'm off to work brother. Congratulations once again"

They shook hands and Jin left while Yeontan ran out of the house to spread the good news leaving Taehyung and Hoseok alone. Taehyung noticed the latter's face looked serious.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm happy sir. Truly I'm happy for you...for your upcoming wedding. I'm happy you two were able to resolve your issues. Jimin is perfect. He's a great guy and I can't wait for him to be a part of your family but can you really ignore it? His father murdered your parents. That's a lot to just push aside"

Taehyung became quiet. His fist tightened as he slowly moved to sit on the couch. Hoseok followed him. He didn't talk to him for a while making the latter nervous until finally, he spoke.

"I told Jimin I would forget everything his father did to me but I won't deny that the thought of that man still makes my skin crawl. I want to hurt him in more ways than possible but now I can't because I love his son and I can't bear to see him hurt because of me. These past few weeks made me realize just how much Jimin means to me"

"I can't loose him so I'm willing to make this sacrifice for his sake but I really can't stand his family so after we get married, I'm planning to take us far away from here. Far far away where we won't have to be in touch with anyone from his family"

"Do you think he'll agree to do that? This is his home"

"I'm his home now. Jimin has told me he will agree with whatever I decide so I'm confident he will leave with me"

Hoseok nodded. "Okay then, I support your decision. I know it's hard but I support you and I wish you happiness on this new journey you're about to embark on"

"Thanks Hobi. For everything... for just being there. I'm really glad I have you" Taehyung said.

They both embraced feeling quite emotional.

Jungkook laid on the bed bored. He had been on house arrest for weeks and he was jumpy and extremely upset. He hated his situation and even called his mother to talk some sense into Yoongi but his husband was even avoiding his mother. Things weren't looking good for Jungkook.

Yoongi suddenly entered the room wearing a fierce expression as usual. Jungkook avoided his face completely.

"Quickly get dressed. We are going out!" He said.

Jungkook was surprised. "All of a sudden? Where to?"

"Jimin just called. He invited us for dinner at the mansion. He said he has something to tell us"

Jungkook frowned. "What could he possibly say to us?"

Yoongi didn't have time to talk. He was already irritated enough.

"Just get dressed!"

He walked away and Jungkook hissed after him. He rolled his eyes. He really didn't want to see Jimin at the moment. He had a terrible mind towards him. He imagined all sorts of bad things happening to him and those imagination scared him, made him believe he had a terrible side he had no idea he possessed.

He reluctantly got himself ready for dinner and met Yoongi outside. His husband just looked past him as they walked over to the car. This wasn't good. He used to have so much control over Yoongi but now, the latter could barely look at him. He couldn't continue living like this. He had to get back Yoongi's favor somehow.

"Yeobo, you haven't told me how I look tonight" He brushed his hand against Yoongi's arm but the other shrugged it off.

"You look good. Are you satisfied now? Let's go"

He sounded so hostile, Jungkook wanted to run back to his room and never come out but he held himself straight and followed Yoongi to the car. They drove to the Park Mansion and on getting there, they saw a familiar car parked in the driveway.

"This is Taehyung's car" Jungkook suddenly blurted out forgetting that Yoongi was beside him. Whether Yoongi heard or not, he didn't show it.

"Let's go" he simply muttered. They both got out of the car and entered the mansion. They were led inside by servants and Jungkook stopped in his stride when he spotted Taehyung. He was standing beside Jimin and his parents. Yoongi held his hand and pulled him along, looking angry.

"What are you doing?" He whispered into his ear. Jungkook shook his head. So many things were going through his mind. Why weren't they informed that Taehyung would come for the dinner?. He began to sense something foreboding would take place.

"Oh you're finally here" Mr Park said upon seeing him and Yoongi.

"You're back from your trip Dad" Jungkook said struggling to keep his self control.

"Yes and I'm surprised Jimin gathered us here for dinner" He said then turned to Jimin.

"Everyone is here now so tell us Jimin, what do you want to announce?"

Jimin and Taehyung were holding hands. They looked at each other sharing loving looks before Jimin raised his hand and showed them a shining gold ring resting on his finger.

"We're getting married"

Jungkook nearly fainted. Yoongi froze on the spot. Only the parents seems overjoyed.

"This is amazing! This calls for celebration!" Mr Park shouted. "Bring champagne! We must celebrate!" He shouted and the servants began to scamper around.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung but he wasn't looking at him. He was focused solely on Jimin. They were staring lovingly into each other's eyes. He looked at his mother. Her reaction shocked him. She looked sincerely happy causing him to be so confused. Then he looked at Yoongi. He was the only one whose face seemed to mirror his. He didn't look excited. Rather, he looked confused and complicated. Jungkook began to wonder what was going on in his head as he watched Yoongi move closer to the couple. He offered his hand to Taehyung for a handshake.

"Congratulations. I wish you both the best"

"Thank you" Taehyung answered and shook his hands.

Then Yoongi glanced at Jimin and Jungkook could detect longing and sadness in Yoongi's stare.

"Taehyung, you are a lucky man" he simply whispered then he walked away. Jimin and Taehyung watched him leave. Jungkook couldn't even bear to remain there. He eyed the couple before dashing out. He was an emotional wreck. He wandered out of the house and found himself in the garden. He just had to breathe because he was feeling so suffocated at the mansion but his mind kept drifting. He thought of their smiles, the happiness on their faces. The way Taehyung looked at Jimin like he was his entire world. Jungkook began to wonder; had Taehyung ever looked at him like that?

He thought it had been fun to joke with Taehyung, to date two men at once but now, it was no fun. He felt a kind of pain in his heart he didn't think he could ever feel. Tears began to fall down his eyes but he stopped crying when he felt a presence behind him. Hoping it was Taehyung, he turned around quickly but his heart fell when he saw Jimin. He instantly wiped his tears from his eyes.

"What do you want?" He growled.

Jimin was quiet making the air around them tense. After a while, he spoke. "Jungkook, don't you do what you did with Taehyung back at the restaurant ever again. Taehyung is going to be my husband which means that from now on, you should keep your distance. Don't ever try to hit on him again. Am I clear? This time, I will protect what belongs to me"

Jungkook gulped. This was the first time he was seeing this side of Jimin. He was like a possessive bear ready to fight off anyone who tried to take away his young one. Seeing him, Jungkook could tell that his brother had truly fallen. His teeth clenched. He wanted to say something but he couldn't.

Jimin smirked. "Do you know? Your lies have been exposed. I can't believe you pretended to be me all these while so that Taehyung could fall for you... Unfortunately for you, he found out the truth. It's all over now"
Jungkook shuddered feeling embarrassed. Taehyung had finally discovered he had pretended to be Jimin from years ago.

Jimin suddenly grinned and closed in on him. "Do you remember what I told you some time ago?"

He cleared his throat and spoke.

"I hope you'll feel what I feel, this intense pain and you'll experience what it's like to loose the most precious thing to you...I still remember it word for word"

Jungkook trembled. His legs became weak as he stared into Jimin's face. His smile suddenly felt like needles piercing his skin.

"Do you know now how I felt when you took Yoongi away from me? How does it feel knowing that now, I've taken the man you love away from you? Tell me Jungkook, how does it feel? Do you know now how I had felt back then? Do you?" His voice was trembling and it was as though he would cry.

Jungkook collapsed to the ground unable to speak. Jimin took a deep breath steadying himself.

"All that doesn't matter anymore. I love Taehyung and he loves me. I have found something better. Something worth fighting for so let me give you a word of advice. Mind your marriage and stay away from us"

With that said, Jimin left leaving Jungkook with all kinds of emotions but remorse wasn't even in the picture. He was angry that his brother dared to challenge him. Something he had never done before. He couldn't tolerate it.

"Okay Jimin, let's see just how far you can go" He muttered.
