Kim Taehyung was no longer wearing his wedding ring. Instead, he was twirling it between his fingers as numerous thoughts passed through him.

"V, you look like someone died," His inmate said. A man with a rough look and an incomplete set of teeth.

Taehyung didn't answer. He didn't have the strength to speak. The man spotted the ring he was holding and sighed.

"Marriage problem eh?"

He shook his head. "You can't trust them when you're stuck in here and they are out there"

Taehyung was confused. "Who are you referring to?"

The man snickered "Our spouses. Our other half"

He looked down. "Everything was all good until I got locked in here for selling drugs. I got twenty years"

"Two years after I got imprisoned, the Mrs came by, told me she couldn't stay married to me anymore. Told me she had reunited with her former flame. That good for nothing..."

He stopped himself from cursing and sighed. "Bottom line is she divorced me, took our only son away to go live with another man. Haven't heard from them in eight years"

Taehyung clenched the ring tightly in his hand. "Jimin wouldn't do that to me!"

The man laughed. "Sure he would! Nothing lasts forever. Not even love. It gradually fades. When it does, What more is left"

He nodded his head. "For men like us, Love is hopeless! I suggest you prepare for the worst"

Taehyung struggled so hard to hold back his tears. The thought of Jimin leaving him for some other man not just Yoongi made him completely unstable.

It was at this point that the jailer appeared.

"Mr. Kim, there's a visitor here for you!"

"Who is it?" Taehyung asked, hope shining in his eyes.

"A new face. I've never seen him before. He looks very young and handsome"

Taehyung was filled with hope as he walked out of the cell and followed the jailer to the waiting room but he paused in his stride when he saw who it was. It wasn't Jimin. It was Jungkook. Immediately, his entire mood went sour at seeing him. He sat opposite him.

"What are you doing here?"

Jungkook smiled. "I'm hurt. You don't look happy to see me!"

Taehyung sighed. "Just leave. I don't want to see you"

He stood up to walk away but Jungkook's sultry voice stopped him.

"I'm the only one who can get you out!"

Taehyung turned to stare at him looking confused and at the same time curious

"What are you saying?"

Jungkook smirked. "I'm the only one on your side V. You've heard about Jimin haven't you?"

"How can I believe you! While we were in a relationship, all you ever did was a lie. I didn't even confront you about how you impersonated Jimin just to make me fall harder for you"

Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine. I told a white lie. Who hasn't lied before to get what they want but that isn't important now"

"What's important is I can get you out but on a condition"

"What's that?"

"You'll run away with me!"

Taehyung nearly laughed "You're crazy. Have you forgotten? I'm married"

Jungkook scoffed. "Not anymore! You and Jimin have been divorced! Nothing is tying you two together"

"We have two kids now. Even though we are divorced, we can't just run off into the sunset. What's going to happen to them?"

"How can you be worried over a bunch of kids that aren't even yours. You lose some, you gain some"

Taehyung flared up with anger "Jungkook..."

"What? Okay fine! We can take the kids! But we will go far away from where no one can find us!"

"I can't do that!"

Jungkook scoffed harshly. "You're going to die in here. My family will make sure of that. Your brother Jin or your assistant Hoseok can't help you. I'm the only one who can"

Jungkook could see Taehyung was still resolute.

"Okay fine... I'll give you three days to decide," he said.

Three days later, Jungkook returned.

"What's your answer?"

Taehyung sighed. "Fine. I'll go with you."

Jungkook clapped his hands excitedly looking extremely delighted. "That's the best decision you've made"

Taehyung stared at him. "How do you plan to get me out?"

"You leave that to me" Jungkook answered. Both were thinking different things. Jungkook was thinking about how things would be when Jimin finally dies and he can finally truly be with Taehyung.

Taehyung was thinking of just taking his chances with Jungkook but determined never to be with him again.

"You're a devious woman Hana," Her lover said laying love bites on her face and neck.

"How can you be so calculating, making Jimin and Taehyung  divorce?"

Hana moved away from him.

"It had to be done. Taehyung is a very powerful man with lots of connections. I  tried to kill him in prison, paying for him to be poisoned but I don't know what's happening! Why won't he still die?"

"He probably still has a lot of support even in prison"

"I thought so as well"

She bit her lips. "It also occurred to me that he could find a way to escape from prison and if he does, all our effort would be in vain"

"So I had to take action immediately ensuring they get a divorce. That way, all Taehyung's properties get transferred to Jimin"

Wang Joon clapped his hands. "You are great my love!"

"This is only the beginning! Once my plan is actualized, I'll get rid of that stupid old man. Then you and I can truly be together"

She fell into his arms kissing him wildly. Their kiss turned heated immediately almost escalating when her phone began to ring. It was Jungkook. Irritated at being interrupted, she picked the call.

"What is it darling?"

"It's Jimin! They've taken him away. He's gone!"

Hana was no longer in the sexual mood. She pushed Wang Joon away from her and shouted. "What?"

After a while, she calmed down. "It won't change anything. They are already divorced!"

"It changes a lot for me!" Jungkook screamed.

"What are you talking about?"

But her son cut the call on her.

It was a few minutes past seven in the evening. Yoongi was coming back from work when his car was suddenly blocked by a stranger. Filled with anger, he got out of the car and started to yell at the people who blocked his way but no matter how much he yelled, they just ignored him saying incoherent words that were hard for him to understand. He became extremely frustrated.

But he was unaware of what was taking place at his home. The security guards he had placed to watch over Jimin were easily displaced by Hoseok and his men. Jin was among them. They met a shocked and surprised Jungkook in the living room.

"What are you doing here?"

"Where's Jimin? Bring him out right now!" Jin said.

"Get out! You have no right to be here! This is an invasion of property"

"I have every right! You're keeping someone here against their will"

Jin ignored him and turned to the men. "Go! Search everywhere in the house!"

The house was searched until they finally found Jimin locked up in one of the rooms. He looked very sick and fragile. He first saw Hoseok but he couldn't speak.

"Second Master, we are taking you home" he whispered looking completely saddened by Jimin's state. Jimin could barely speak. He just let Hoseok carry him in his arms away from the room.

Jungkook yelled as soon as he saw Hoseok carrying Jimin out.

"Stop right there! Don't you dare take another step!"

Hoseok eyed him. "Like you can stop me!"

Then he shook his head at him. "How can you do this to your brother? How could you let him be locked up"

Jungkook kept quiet. Hoseok walked towards the door. Jungkook was about to lurch at him but he found a gun pointed at his forehead. He was surprised to find it was Jin pointing the gun at him.

"I'm not quite fond of your family at the moment so my finger is itching to shoot one of you. Don't give me a reason to!"

Jungkook could see the seriousness in his eyes so he backed off feeling a bit scared and intimidated.

"Let's go!" Jin ordered and soon, everyone disappeared from the house. Meanwhile, the man holding Yoongi on his way suddenly got into their car and zoomed away after receiving a phone call. Yoongi was confused over what happened.

A few minutes later, he received a call from Jungkook crying that Jimin was taken away by Jin and his men.

Yoongi was destabilized by the news. He immediately drove to the house only to find that it was true. He turned to Jungkook with accusing fingers.

"Why did you let them take him!" He yelled

"What did you expect me to do? They pointed a gun at me!" Jungkook countered.

"Damnit! Damnit!" Yoongi shouted in frustration.

From the corner, Jungkook watched him, eyeing him with bitterness in his heart. He couldn't wait for his plan to materialize.

When Jimin was brought to Taehyung's house, he had regained a bit of his strength and could walk on his own. In the living room, Nanny Ji Hye and Yeontan were sitting waiting for him. As soon as they entered, Yeontan's face broke into excitement. He ran up to Jimin and embraced him tightly.

Jimin embraced him back holding him tight.

"We are so happy you're back doctor Angel!"

Nanny Ji Hye who was holding the baby stood up to meet him. She looked relieved but there were still tears in her eyes.

" My Puppy, you have endured so much. You look so worn out. I'm so sorry"

Jimin could only burst into tears as he held the woman. She let him cry as much as he wanted until he grew calmer. Then Jimin carried the baby in her arms.

"My baby! Did you miss me?" He whispered looking at Joy fondly. He peppered small kisses on her face. The baby giggled excitedly.

"Ohh... she's smiling!" Yeontan said.

"I've not seen her giggle like that in a while" he added looking into Joy's face with wonder.

"It must be because her Appa is back. You did a brave thing Jimin, you and Taehyung"

Jimin answered her with a smile. Then his face paled.

"What about Taehyung? What's going to happen to him? I'm dying to see him"

"Without my permission, my Father had us both divorced using illegal means. There was nothing I could do!"

Jin answered. "We'll be going to court next week. We have everything sorted out!"

Jimin nodded. "That's good but I have to see him before the trial. I need to explain everything to him"

Hoseok spoke "They won't let you an inch close to Taehyung. I'm sure that by now, they'll be thinking of getting you back. Being with them will only destabilize Taehyung the more. They know you're his weakness. We have to be extra careful especially now that you're here"

Jimin sighed. "But there must be a way"

Nanny Ji hye smiled. "I know someone who can go in and out of the prison cell without any suspicions. Tomorrow, we'll go see her"

Jimin nodded his head. He was so happy to finally be free of that prison that crazy couple kept him in but he knew his happiness would be completed when he sees Taehyung again.
