Jimin was sitting at the edge of his bed discussing with Nanny Ji hye. He told her everything except for Jungkook's secret affair with Taehyung. The woman was quite shocked by the things Jimin told her especially the part where Taehyung was actually V who was set on taking revenge against their family.

After a while, Nanny Ji hye smiled connivingly.

"Well, It's not as if they don't deserve it..."

"Nanny...."

"But it's true. This family is evil. Your father and step mother have done a lot of terrible things in their pursuit of wealth and power"

She frowned. "They have laid a path filled with blood for themselves. They really deserve their karma"

Jimin shook his head. "Are you saying I should just sit back and do nothing?"

"That young man was made an orphan because of this family? Why aren't you seeing things from his own perspective as well"

Jimin became quiet. Nanny Ji hye sighed and grabbed his hand smoothing it with the tips of her fingers.

"I have lived here long enough and witnessed plenty of wrong doings which has taken place in this mansion. They aren't innocent Jimin"

"I don't care what happens to the others. I only care about your safety"

Nanny Ji hye gulped knowing that what she was going to say next might trigger Jimin but she continued.

"Don't do anything. Just sit back and watch what happens"

"What?" Jimin barked.

"Yes...You are only a doctor. You don't have the power or influence to go against a man like Taehyung judging from all the things you've told me about him"

"If I were to advise you, it would be better if you get closer to him...and win his heart"

Jimin's ears stung by the words he just heard.

"That's the only way you can be able to soften him and keep him from destroying your family"

Jimin bit his lips hard. "You want me to win his heart? That savage?"

He scoffed bitterly. "I'm sure you're aware that my father is thinking of getting the two of us married"

"And so?"

"What do you mean 'And so'? I can't even imagine that happening. It can't work!"

Nanny shrugged. "It's the only way you can stop him. If it eventually comes to pass that you are to get married to him, then you have to give in. You have to do what ever it takes to make him fall for you. That way, you can keep your family safe because once you have his heart, there's nothing he won't do for you..."

She giggled. "A man in love is like a puppet pulled by the strings"

Jimin folded his arms. "I'm better than that. I can't use someone especially when I don't have feelings for them"

Nanny Ji hye smiled. "Is that what you think?" Jimin glanced at her in curiosity. "I believe love is a choice. If you want to then you will!"

Jimin rolled his eyes. "I can't! He's annoying! He's rude! He cracks bad jokes. He's a fucking pirate! A vagabond...He teases me all the time... calling me Saint Jimin...he gets on my nerves...."

"Okay okay..." Nanny Ji hye waved her hand to stop him from going ond on. She stared closely at Jimin. " But at least, there must be some things you like about him"

Jimin was silent for a while. He fumbled with his fingers looking nervous "Well...he's kind. Whenever he sees a person in plight, he always helps out no matter the situation. I guess that's why he's V"

He chuckled. "I only just realized it but whenever I'm around him, I feel relaxed. I feel like I can be myself. Although, I hate it when he teases me but somehow, it releases my stress. He's childish sometimes but it's somewhat amusing and endearing"

A small blush appeared on Jimin's cheeks. "And of course...he is very very handsome"

Nanny Ji hye laughed. "You see...he does have some good traits. When you focus on this, the rest doesn't matter"

Jimin sighed. "Do you think I can do this? Do you think I can learn to love a person like Taehyung? Someone who is set on destroying my family? He and I are so different. Besides, I loved once...I don't think I can go through all that again"

Nanny Ji hye smiled and fondled his cheeks. "You haven't gone through life yet if you haven't experienced times that shatters your heart but all of these leads us to new beginnings"

She looked into his eyes. "You have a beautiful future ahead Jiminah...all you have to do is seize it"

After hearing Nanny Ji hye's words, Jimin came to the conclusion that the only way he could really help his family is to win Taehyung's heart and get him to marry him. But then there was Jungkook, even though his brother was now married to Yoongi, it was obvious there was still a thing between him and Taehyung. He had witnessed it yesterday. Could a person like him overcome such a passionate love. Jungkook is unforgettable and incomparable. Jimin was naive and inexperienced. He didn't even know what a real relationship felt like or what it meant for two people to be totally head over heels for each other. He was completely clueless and wasn't sure that someone like him could attract a person like Taehyung. Would Taehyung be able to see him as someone other than Saint Jimin? Most importantly, would Jimin himself be able to look past Taehyung's rough edges and see what's truly within?

It all begins with one step. All he had to do was take a step. That evening, Yoogi and Jungkook arrived the mansion for dinner. Jungkook was dressed to kill looking extremely sexy in tight fitted black pants and a loose patterned shirt that exposed his chest and long neck. He tied his long hair in a ponytail giving him a very sexy aura. Yoongi was as usual dressed decently. He kept fumbling with Jungkook's shirt to cover his exposed chest but Jungkook stubbornly refused slapping his hand away each time he tried. Jimin dressed in one of his best clothes. A white jacket paired with a sky blue top. The family waited for Kim Taehyung who was just outside the mansion glaring at the building with Hoseok standing by his side.

He smoked a cigarette and blew out heavy puffs.

"I feel disgusted" Taehyung murmured as he threw the cigarette to the ground and crushed it under his shoes.

"I don't understand master. Why would you still want to go through this? You can easily destroy them with just a click of your finger"

Taehyung grinned "Because it will give me so much satisfaction. After I am done taking everything they have, then I will reveal my true identity to them"

"But what about Jimin? He knows everything"

Taehyung smirked. "I don't think he'll talk but if he does, then I have no choice....I'll just get rid of him"

Hoseok swallowed hard watching the hardened gaze in his master's eyes. He had never seen him like this before....so ruthless. He thought a bit before he spoke.

"And Jungkook? How are you going to deal with him?"

Hoseok watched his master falter for a while before he said. "I'll know what to do when the time comes"

He put up a straight face. "Let's go!"

They drove inside the large compound and parked the car in front of the building. They were met by a servant in front of the door who led Taehyung inside the inner house where the rest where waiting. Hoseok stayed behind to wait for his return. The family was gathered in the living room. As soon as he entered, Taehyung spotted Mr and Mrs Park. He spotted Jungkook from the corner of his eyes throwing him seductive glances which he tried so hard to avoid as Yoongi came up to him to greet him warmly. When he saw Jimin, he was sitting quietly on his own but something about him seemed different. Maybe it was the beautiful clothes he was wearing or the way he kept his head down without looking up. He didn't know but there was just something about Jimin today.

"Welcome! We are so glad you were able to make it to dinner" Mr Park said

"I'm glad to be here" Taehyung answered lying through his teeth.

The family laughed and then Hana spoke.

"Right this way...the meal has already been served"

Everyone moved to the dining table where sumptuous meals were displayed for their consumption. Taehyung began to complement the food even before they started to eat.

Mr Park smiled exposing his full sets of teeth. "We hope you will be satisfied" he said then turned to Jimin.

"Jimin, sit close to Mr Kim"

Taehyung smiled amusedly as he watched Jimin shift uncomfortably.

"But..." He mumbled.

Mr Park seemed a bit annoyed but he controlled his emotions and instead smiled outwardly.

"Try and make our guest feel at home"

Jimin could feel an icy stare on him coming from Jungkook's direction but he ignored it and quickly sat beside Taehyung.

"That's good...very good!" Mr Park said.

Everyone had sat down and they all began to talk. Jimin couldn't say much. He was completely aware of the man sitting beside him. This dangerous man who was a threat to their entire family.

Finally, Taehyung spoke. "I've been thinking of investing in a new business these days"

Mr Park shared eye contact with Hana and Yoongi before speaking. "That's nice. Can I introduce you to a deal!"

Taehyung listened attentively. "What deal?"

"How about partnering with our family?"

Taehyung smiled smugly"You want me to partner with you? Why would I?"

Mr Park cleared his throat. "Well...you see. Our business is going through some tough times at the moment. We are in need of new investors. I am willing to make you co-CEO if you partake in the business"

Taehyung stroke his chin. "co- CEO?"

He looked around him. "What if I want everything!"

Heavy silence hung in the air. Suddenly, Mr Park laughed. The rest joined in except Jimin who kept sighing within himself.

"I love your thinking...Mr Kim but if that were to happen, what about our family?"

Taehyung nodded "Relax Mr Park. I was only joking. I'm not that cruel to take everything you have. As long as you have majority shares, I can't touch you...so calm down"

Taehyung turned and met Jimin's hard gaze on him. He flashed him a conspiratory grin before turning back to face Mr Park.

"Let me think about it. I'll make a decision before the week runs out and inform you"

Mr Park looked relieved as he smiled brightly.

"You won't regret it!" He said.

But you will regret it Taehyung thought to himself before pretending to smile as he had been doing since he stepped his legs inside the house.

Throughout dinner, Jimin couldn't bear to watch the flirtatious glances Jungkook kept throwing at Taehyung that when dinner ended, he was the first to leave the table. Soon afterwards, Taehyung announced that he was leaving.

"Thank you so much for your visit...do think about what we discussed" Mr Park said.

Taehyung smiled "I will"

Mr Park immediately turned to Jimin.

"Accompany him on his way out" he said. Jimin wanted to refuse but he saw the stern look on his father's face and decided to give in. He didn't want to be the subject of insults this night.

"We shall see again"

As he followed Taehyung out of the house, he felt pairs of eyes watching them. It held a lot of resentment. From the corner of his eyes, he detected Yoongi and Jungkook eyeing them. Jungkook looked irritated while Yoongi didn't look pleased and that left Jimin wondering why.

The both of them calmly strolled, an awkward silence passed between them. They finally stopped beside Taehyung's car.

"They want to match make us" Jimin said finally

"What do you think?"

"It's a wrong idea but I don't have much choice in the matter"

Taehyung smirked. "Obviously but think about it, we are two lonely souls whose hearts were broken by people we loved the most. It won't be a surprise if we try to seek comfort in each other"

Jimin looked at him and saw the teasing look in his eyes. He scoffed. "I can do better. At least not with the person who wants to destroy my entire family"

Taehyung leaned closer to him so his lips was brushing his ear and he could feel a stinging sensation around his neck.

"I can spare you...you know. I won't do anything to harm you..."

He sighed looking ahead of him. "Because out of all of them, I think you're the best. You are the most humane. I really do think so"

Jimin suddenly felt strange inside. Taehyung's tone was warm and quite soothing. He actually sounded quite genuine.

"But you tease me all the time!"

Taehyung chuckled. "it's because it's fun to do so but if you're offended by it, I'll stop"

Jimin said nothing. He gathered his breath. Taehyung smiled devishly and suddenly took his hand.

"How about it? Do you want to try?"

Jimin was alarmed. "Try what?"

"Try going all the way with me"

Jimin snatched his hand away. His face turned red. He was burning hot inside.

"What on Earth are you saying?" He muttered trying to calm down his beating heart but Taehyung's laughter wasn't helping matters. He was obviously enjoying playing with him like this. Jimin frowned making Taehyung laugh harder because his cheeks puffed out making him look adorable like a little child.

"You are so cute" Taehyung whispered.

Jimin said nothing still feeling somewhat offended by his flirting. Yoongi and Taehyung's car drove past them out of the mansion so Taehyung entered his own car where Hoseok was waiting.

"See you later" he said with a wink.

Jimin simply waved and watched as Taehyung's car drove away.

"Savage" he muttered under his breath but he couldn't deny that there was a tiny light which had been lit in his heart. It was a tiny tiny one.
