ELYÄ was used to being alone whether it was with her family or just in life, she was used to the calmness that was wondering alone through the dangers of the world. She finally felt at peace from the wild things that has been happening with the mental battle in her mind and the yearning for her home, with her mother and father.

The memory the spirit tree showed her from days ago was slowly fading from the little memories Elyä had left of her father and mother happy together.

She can't do it anymore, she sat down on the dock staring at the water hoping for the tears to not fall from falling into a waterfall down her face. El couldn't do it she couldn't cry, she couldn't cry, she shouldn't have to feel like this at only fifteen.

Elyä had to hold up the world on her fragile shoulders fearing they will break at any moment, she couldn't scream for help.

Neytiri and Jake looked at each other concerned for their goddaughter watching as she looked close to tears, the other kids out somewhere, "I'm going to check on her," Neytiri mumbled to her husband he nodded following after her.

"What's wrong?" The warrior asked the young girl who quickly looked up in fear, "why did my parents have to leave me?" Tears streaming down her face, "why did my father have to die?" She balled gasping for anyone loving family hug.

Elyä missed her real home, the forest, her mom, just a sense of family.

Jake stared at her seeing so much of Tsu'tey in her it scared him, "hey lyä, eywa gives and takes as much as we hate it, but theh got another chance with you." He wrapped an arm around her shoulder hugging her tightly.

"Can you tell me how my father died?" She asked the sorrow evident on her features asking the people who took her in.

"He died a fierce warrior, the sky people took him in the most vile way, with their technology." Neytiri said her voice strong keeping her own tears in talking about the old friend she held deep in heart, "just like you are." The older women grinned at her goddaughter, "now go get some rest you need it."

"Thank you for telling me," Elyä nodded her head glancing at the two the tears still fresh in her blue-green eyes, in the dark night sky.

The older Sully's nodded to the young girl who now was content and at peace with the battling war inside her mind, El rested her eyes needing to finally sleep the nightmares of the avatars holding her captive haunted her fickle nightmares.

Neteyam's hand reached for hers their mats just inches away from each others in their silent embrace of cold nights in the reef.

The two parents glanced at the kids before letting the darkness take over, just for a bit of calm before the storm.

Happiness is fickle, it could leave in a second, always see the little moments before it all disappears in front of your eyes.

THE UNUSUALLY CHEERFUL Elyä rolled up her sleeping mat grinning at Neteyam, "what got you smiling?" He asked but was cut off by the sound of a horn hinting something or someone had arrived.

They all quickly ran out of the marui going to check what it was, "what was that?" Tuk asked her voice adorable.

"The tulkun have returned! Everybody our brothers and sisters have returned!" Tsireyas soft voice boomed throughout the village as she rode on her ilu waving her arm.

Giant animals came bull dozing through the water taking their fins out of the water in a way to wave at their spirit brothers and sisters, Neteyam and Elyä looked at each other before calling their ilus grinning like madmen shocked by the giant creatures who the Metkayina called family.

The sight of many tulkun jumping in and out of the clear water as neteyam and her watched with stars in their eyes.

"Come on, let's go!" She screamed racing down deep into the depths of the clear blue water going to see Roxto's spirit brother and Ao'nungs.

They smiled at each other, the happiness evident throughout the clan unaware of the darkness that lurked near their hearts.

Spider watched as his father's army gained control of helpless na'vi shocking them, their screams filled his ears and heart. He couldn't help them, spider was helpless the guns pointed right at the chief and the tashik of the clan.

It was murder in front of his eyes and he couldn't stop it, he was helpless with his fragile body and short structure compared to them.

Spider listened as the chief told Quaritch, "n-now what is he saying?" He asked the small human, "they never saw him, these are sea people. Forest people don't come here," he moved his arms to express the point.

"I ain't buying that," his thick country-ish accent sounded clouding spiders angry thoughts about the man he wanted him once to love him so dearly.

Quaritch tried again but he didn't understand them, Spider nodded along taking in their beautiful language.

"They don't know anything," the plea in the teenagers voice growing stronger.

"Shoot that animal," the tall avatar commanded Lyle pointing to the helpless Ilu unaware to the destruction happening around it.

The sound of it's screams in pain as multiple bullets go into its skin bleeding out into the clear blue-green water.

"What the hell are you doing!" Spider yelled watching helplessly, why did he have to be here? He asked himself over and over again.

The sound of the peoples screams and cries mourning the little ilu who had so much to live for. It was one with them, and now it rests with Eywa.

Spider spaced out trying to calm the people, his aching heart beating at a pace making it impossible to breathe with his guilt.

He watched lost as Lyle threw down the tshaki of the sea clan pointing the dangerous weapon right at her head, for more than once in Spider Scorro's life he feels utter helplessness and useless.

"I'm not gonna be apart of this!" He yelled holding back his tears, the anguish burning his very little soul he had left.

"These people don't know anything! They don't know anything," the boy pleaded tears gathering at his waterline close to falling from his brown eyes.

"Please, please don't do this. What you are doing here is wrong!" The human begged wanting to help the people he so ached to be.

Tears slowly trickled down, he couldn't help it, he was watching a genocide right in front of him.

"Burn the heoches," the person Spider hated spat out a command strong in his scratchy voice.

The sight of fire filled Spiders brown eyes making them flash a hazel, he watched as they begged and cried, their homes, everything, memories, gone forever, and it was all his fault. He believed it was. It was the only right answer.

Miles pulled his son away as he yelled a sorry tears still dropping down his eyes.

People will take what they want, no matter who it hurts or what. Greed and ignorance fills everybody's veins no matter how much you fight it and so does vengeance that you try to hide.
