"T-Taehyung? Why aren't you saying anything?" Jungkook asked with eyes in the brim of tears when he heard nothing from the silver head who was busy murdering his cousin with his deadly stares.

"That is because he lied to us all. Didn't you Taehyung?"

Jin who was standing in between the brothers with an arm's length of each other gulped in horror. He has been around the duo and Kim's family for a while now to know the temper both these males are capable of.

"Namjoon, careful-..."

"I think it's enough of us protecting him thinking that he deserves it but sometimes I just wonder if we are purely blinded by our love and care for him." Namjoon was saying directly to Jin's face when he was attempted to be stopped while sending the message loud and clear for Yoongi as well.

The mint head who didn't budge from his seat since earlier dropped his head in guilt for he knows that as much as he threatens and be a nonchalant devil in Tae's cases, he still spoils the silver head into a little brat.

There is something so special about Taehyung that everyone wants to love.

"Taehyung? We are at a cross junction. If you don't want to speak then you're going to lose something or someone forever. You need to let us know what has been happening to you."

Jin figured since he can't tame the older Kim, he will try to pacify the younger Kim instead.

"Will you speak before I tell Jungkook myself what have you been doing since the day you were found half dead drowned in alcohol when Judy-..."

"I FUCKING LIED TO YOU GUYS BY MANIPULATING MY MEDICATIONS ALRIGHT! THERE, I SAID IT!"

The emotion in the air was unbelievable, shocking really. Most of the humans present were unable to make a comprehension in their brains through the words uttered by the silver head. All except Namjoon stood unbothered with his eyes still hanging dangerously dark on his cousin brother.

"Why did you do that?" Namjoon's suppressed voice was a warning for Taehyung to not hide anything further.

"I didn't want to eat those damn medicines and who is the doctor to refuse me from consuming alcohols."

"What the hell? Taehyung! That was for your good! Did you fucking forgot how miserable you were drowning with alcoholism? You almost died! And you lost part of your memories! We wanted to help you recover!"

Jin was gasping. He can't believe Taehyung wasted all their good effort from recovering and even made it worse for himself for the past 8 years.

"I'm fine."

"No, you're fucking not." The third Kim to explode is probably the scariest of them all. It was Jin.

"When Dr Kalister spoke with me. He didn't even remember your name anymore. I find it pretty unprofessional for a medical doctor to forget the condition and the name of his patient until I realize you never stayed at his patient."

Taehyung scoffed at this. He refuses to keep his eye contact with Namjoon who was starting to explain his newfound info from the call he had with Taehyung's supposed physician - Dr Kalister.

"You even tipped off the pharmacists for the medication and made it seem like you're receiving the correct vitamins and pills. You are not eating the right pills aren't you? Those that I thought I've been feeding you right are just placebos. You made me a fool without me knowing."

The silver head started to shift on his legs. Left to right, his brain swayed. Taehyung wasn't his best when he faces confrontation. It's his shortfall which he knows and hates.

"Taehyung. You were diagnosed with Wernicke–Korsakoff Syndrome. We found you at the brick of death. We ensured we spent most of our time and cared for you. For 8 God damn years we have protected and made sure your supplements, medication are taken on the right time. We also ensured you don't abuse alcohol like you used to. We have looked pass all your Casanova plays and endured your bratty ass. Is this how you plan to repay us? Not that we are asking for anything in return but damn it Taehyung. I'm so disappointed."

Namjoon was no longer yelling in anger. His voice was dripping of heavy disappointment which even made Jimin tear in emotion.

"You knew from the beginning about your condition isn't it?" The taller blue head enquired.

Taehyung didn't have the courage in his heart to reply verbally to his brother, so he nodded.

"So for the past 8 years, you have been aware of your condition. Yet, you didn't let us know? Why would you fake your awareness about your own illness Taehyung? Do you know how worried we were at times when you overwork yourself?"

The silver head mustered the courage he had left and faced his brother.

"I didn't want to live my past anymore. I didn't want the memories. I choose to not recover."

With this, Jungkook's heart stopped a beat. He wasn't aware of the tightness in his chest until he felt the suffocation riping his lungs apart. He felt betrayed, like a slap in his face almost.

"Y-you didn't want your p-past?" His stutters were clear to many but evident to one. Taehyung turned back to realize the dishevelled state of his love interest as Jungkook's gaze fixed on the floor.

"Why would you lie to them about being aware of your condition and didn't even tell me about it when we speak? Were you trying to act in front of me too Taehyung?"

Jungkook's words sounded so broken it even scraped the nonchalant expression off Yoongi's face as the mint head blinked his eyes trying to hide his sombre feeling. Yoongi felt bad for Jungkook and never the less felt a sense of protection towards the raven head whom he has not interacted much with.

"I didn't mean it like that bun-..."

"Then what did you were trying to prove Taehyung? That you can easily manipulate whoever the fuck you want? That you can cheat and it doesn't matter? For your information, cheating is not ok Taehyung. It's never ok to betray someone like that and choose the easy way out by forgetting."

Jungkook was always the hopeful one that he will be rendered what he was deprived of. The younger was deprived of Taehyung's love for over 8 years. Multiple betrayals lead to the familiarization of acceptance. Jungkook failed to realize that what he was doing is only aiding Taehyung for the toxic pathway which neither of them deserves.

It was almost like a feeling of Saudade. A deep emotional state, nostalgic and profound melancholic longing for an absent someone that one cares and/or loves.

"What I chose to loose was my side of the story. I never intended to lose you too Jungkook. When I refuse the treatment, I know what was I foregoing. All the potential memories of the past, the people in my near future and selective registration on those who are close to me. You being the closest to me, I didn't have any recollection of you. I only know I was becoming a father. I thought that was the only important thing for me at that time and I chose to live my life as I wish."

Now maybe is the time for Taehyung's side of the story. Don't you think?

The moment when Taehyung woke up at the hospital, he knows he was in deep trouble. Everything felt hazy for the silver head and with his close friends as his guide, Taehyung realized he must have overdone his alcohol to a point it caused his health to deteriorate.

What Namjoon and the rest choose to hide from him came in as an answer for Taehyung when he accidentally read his case file on the table one day when Dr Kalister was patrolling the wards. Since then, Taehyung knows that he abused alcohol to the point he is diagnosed with WKS and potentially suffering memory loss.

There is this one thing in his mind which doesn't click to his heart when he saw a lady walking into the ward for visitation. The beautiful young lady surely knows how to make head turns with her curvy figure and Goddess like face which put a smile on Taehyung's lips as Judy - the said lady reminded Tae that she was pregnant with his child.

Taehyung was happy, exhilarated in fact. But the feeling didn't last long. He was conflicted on his feeling and the mismatch action his body was cueing. Taehyung knows he does not love this lady Judy. Although it seems like he should be celebrating becoming a father, Taehyung felt a loss in his heart and a gap in his mind saying this is not the love he craved and hoped for.

After discharge from hospital, Taehyung noticed how extra cautious his close friends - Yoongi and Jin together with Namjoon was behaving around him. There was a question mark constantly lighting up in Tae's mind which only fueled his wondering heart even more.

One day, when the rest of the boys were out of town for a weekend getaway, Taehyung was left alone in his penthouse with his usual routine of cramping his hours with work and spending it with Judy who was close to her full term. At that point, Judy was still staying with Taehyung although her mom was back in town and lives a floor beneath the young tycoon's lavish penthouse.

It was then when he had full clarity that his cousin brother and friends are keeping his WKS condition as a secret from him. He was confused but upset at the same time. Taehyung knows himself well to know that he has anger issues and it might be due to that fact which prevented them from revealing his condition.

That was the very same day which Judy went into labour and another shocking truth was left to spill on the hospital bed when Judy was suffering from excessive blood loss upon delivering Luna in a complicated condition.

The moment stayed fresh and crystal clear in Tae's mind up until today which he narrated to the crowd who was waiting to know as he explained along.

"That day, I was with Judy. We have been informed that she won't make it as she suffered multiple complications delivering Luna. What she told me that day, changed my whole perspective and I denied to find out about my past for I wanted to build my future based on Judy's need."

"What did she say to you?" Namjoon recalled how emotional it was watching Taehyung walk out of the ward with baby Luna in his hand and expression death on Tae's face as they announced Judy's passing.

"That the child is not mine. Luna is not mine."

So. Yea. I never intended Tae to be a jerk.
Luna isn't his. But that doesn't mean he didn't have sex with her right? Or he didn't?
So many of you thought Tae was faking his WKS syndrome or he never had it at all. :)

In fact, he is still suffering from WKS. He actually knows about it. The only thing he was faking is pretending like he didn't know about his condition. He refused the medication and hidden that fact from his friends and brother.
