Hoseok groaned in frustration as he lugs his friend to Namjoon's car.
"Leave me alone Hobi." Taehyung slurs pushing him away.
"Stop Tae." Hoseok says still pulling him along.
"I don't want to go home." Taehyung whines. "Please don't make me go home Hobi."
"I'm not taking you home." Hoseok says. "Come on Tae just walk."
"I can do it by myself." Taehyung says pushing Hoseok away again and trying to stand on his own two feet.
Namjoon gets out of his car to help Hoseok get Taehyung in the car.
"Is he alright?" Namjoon asks as he approaches them.
"I'm fine. And I. Yeah. You don't have to be here right now." Taehyung says sidestepping as the world tilts around him.
"Tae. You don't need to be over here let's go." Namjoon says grabbing Taehyung's wrist.
"Ah. That hurts you asshole." Taehyung says.
"Then come on and stop being so difficult." Namjoon says.
"I didn't ask you to come here. So the only one being difficult is you." Taehyung slurs as Namjoon pushes him towards the car.
"You shouldn't be on this side of town so late. What's wrong with you?" Namjoon scolds as he opens the back door.
"What's wrong with you?" Taehyung says back as Hoseok pushes him in the car.
Namjoon closes the door and looks at Hoseok.
Hoseok rolls his eyes and rounds the car to get in.
Taehyung tries to open the door but it doesn't budge. Stupid child's lock.
"Please Hoseok." Taehyung says laying over in the backseat. "I don't want to go home."
"I already told you I'm not taking you home." Hoseok says feeling annoyed at the other boy. "Just. Be quiet."
Taehyung huffs. "Namjoon. Namjoon-hyung."
"What Tae?" Namjoon asks with more patience in his voice.
"Can you please take me somewhere?" Taehyung slurs feeling his consciousness slipping away from him.
"Where?" Namjoon asks looking in the rearview mirror to see Taehyung's eyes getting heavy.
"Jungkook. Kookie will take care of me." Taehyung says trying to force himself to stay awake.
Namjoon's heart breaks a little at the sadness laced through Taehyung's voice.
Hoseok sighs feeling a bit sorry as well.
"He can stay with me if it's too much for you to get him to your house with your parents there." Namjoon offers.
"It's fine." Hoseok says looking down at the time. 3:47am.
"You okay?" Namjoon asks.
Hoseok looks out the window. "He can't keep doing this, Joon."
Namjoon nods glancing into the rearview mirror again.
"He can't do this to himself." Hoseok says. "And he obviously isn't listening to us. His dad actually called me the other day. His dad. Called me. He's out of hand."
"What should we do?" Namjoon asks.
"I don't know. It's getting old." Hoseok says. "Of course I care about him and I don't ever want anything bad to happen to him but he's not listening. He's either gonna get himself hurt or in trouble. And neither will end well."
Namjoon nods. "I can talk to him again. Or. Tell Jin to call him."
Hoseok nods. "I just don't understand."
"What?" Namjoon asks.
"Why is he doing this?" Hoseok asks. "He hasn't retaliated like this since we were freshmen. Why now all of a sudden?"
"Jungkook?" Namjoon suggests.
"Damnit." Hoseok curses.
Taehyung hums in the backseat turning on his side.
"Maybe we should talk to Jungkook." Namjoon says. "Maybe he'll talk to Tae."
"Taehyung broke up with him Joon I don't think he'd want to see him." Hoseok says.
"Doesn't hurt to try." Namjoon says as he pulls onto Hoseok's street.
Hoseok sighs. "I'll talk to him tomorrow if I can get a hold of him."
"Alright." Namjoon says parking the car. "I'll help you get him out."
The two of them hop out of the car and proceed to drag Taehyung into the house without waking up Hoseok's parents.

Taehyung wakes up next to a sleeping Hoseok sometime the next day.
Taehyung exhales as he tries to remember how he even got there.
He sits up cautiously trying not to wake his friend. He grabs his shoes and starts to put them on quickly hoping to be gone before he woke up.
"Taehyung."
Shit.
"Hey Hobi. I gotta go." Taehyung says continuing to pull his shoes on.
"I have to talk to you Tae." Hoseok says sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Can it wait? My dad's probably losing his mind since I didn't come home last night." Taehyung says standing.
"Sit down Taehyung. I'm serious." Hoseok says trying his best to sound stern.
Taehyung sighs plopping down on the bed. "Hobi seriously my head hurts and~"
"I am serious. Now listen to me." Hoseok says pointing a finger at his friend. "I don't know what's going on with you but it's getting ridiculous. This staying out at all hours of the night. Drinking like a fish. And hanging around people that are no good for you. Who were you downtown with last night?"
"Bogum~"
"Bogum. The same Bogum that released your sextape." Hoseok spits.
"Alright." Taehyung says standing to leave.
"Sit down." Hoseok orders harshly standing as well.
Taehyung sighs but still does as told, he hasn't seen Hoseok this angry in ages.
"I don't get it. I'm not trying to get it. But I know this much. You always do this. You always put yourself into situations that I can't help you in. You always run away like this and I don't know what to do. I don't know why you want to hurt yourself." Hoseok says, his emotions getting the best of him as he speaks. "Maybe you don't care but I do. Which is irrelevant because as long as you don't care you'll keep doing this. And I'm sick and fucking tired if it. Do you understand me?
"Now. I want you to go. And don't speak to me until you've decided that you're done being so reckless. And selfish. You can't just run around doing whatever you want and expect me to know how to put everything back together after you've messed it up."
Hoseok huffs and walks out of his room leaving Taehyung to show himself out.
Hoseok shuts his bathroom door leaning against it as he wipes his tears.
He was so tired and stressed out that he thought he was going crazy.
He's been running around all week like a crazy person trying to keep Taehyung from doing stupid stuff. And besides the help from Namjoon when the older boy wasn't working he felt like he was on his own.
He was used to having Jin and Namjoon to help him and tell him what to do but now he felt like it was just him dealing with Taehyung's rash behavior.
Taehyung was his best friend and he'd take a bullet for him but sometimes he feels like Tae wouldn't do the same for him.
It was easy for Hoseok to remind himself of all the things Taehyung had to run away from but sometimes the human in him feels so hurt that it comes across as anger.
When isn't angry.
He was just so hurt.

"Jungkook." Yoongi calls as he walks into the younger's house.
"Yoongi. How many times do I have to tell you? You can't just walk in here like that." Jungkook says as he skips down his stairs
"The door was open." Yoongi shrugs. "Plus. I have information for you."
"What?" Jungkook asks walking to the kitchen.
Yoongi follows him. "Namjoon wants you to talk to that Taehyung kid."
"Taehyung?" Jungkook asks stopping in his tracks.
"Chill, kid." Yoongi says showing himself to the refrigerator.
"What about him? Why? Does he need~ I mean does he want to talk to me?" Jungkook asks standing behind Yoongi.
"This huge house. But no food." Yoongi says shaking his head and closing the fridge.
"Does Namjoon really want me to talk to him?" Jungkook asks.
"Yeah. Why would I waste my energy lying to you?" Yoongi says leaning on the counter. "I don't think you should though."
"You said that last time." Jungkook says opening the cabinet and grabbing a bad of chips and throwing them at Yoongi.
Yoongi happily takes the chips and sits at the kitchen table with them.
"He needs me, Yoongi." Jungkook says.
"But you've been doing so well for the past few days." Yoongi says.
"I still don't feel right without him Yoongi." Jungkook says. "Maybe he wants me back."
"And why should you go running back to him?" Yoongi asks.
"Your boyfriend thinks we should be together." Jungkook says.
"Don't listen to Jimin. He thinks life is a fucking fairytale." Yoongi says.
"Trouble in paradise?" Jungkook smirks.
"No." Yoongi says. "But seriously Jungkook. You shouldn't jump when he says jump. He should understand that you too have feelings and he can't just crush them and except everything to be fine after. And he definitely can't leave you and expect you to come back when he's ready. That's not acceptable."
"Are you sure you and Jimin are fine?" Jungkook asks.
"Yeah. Why?" Yoongi asks.
"Because you just murdered the chips." Jungkook says looking at the crushed chip bag in Yoongi's hand.
"This isn't about Jimin. This is about Taehyung." Yoongi says dropping the bag.
"I think I should talk to him Yoongi. It's not like I'm getting back with him. I'm just talking to him." Jungkook says.
"Think about it first at least." Yoongi says.
"If I think about it I'll talk myself out of it." Jungkook says. "So I'm calling Namjoon."
"Jungkook. This is huge step backwards." Yoongi calls after the younger who runs quickly from the kitchen to get his phone.
Yoongi sighs shaking his head.
