It takes Taehyung a few seconds to recognize his surroundings in the all white room he wakes up in.

The first thing Taehyung notices besides he isn't home is that Jungkook isn't with him.

Taehyung sits up in the bed and looks around the room.

It's almost completely white and the light that spills through the curtains bounces from everything in the room blinding Taehyung.

Taehyung searches for his phone finding it under the covers.

💜 Jungkookie 💜:

If you wake up before I get back just wait for me. I'm coming.

Taehyung smiles at the message before locking his phone.

Taehyung climbs out of bed and searches for the bathroom.

Taehyung finds the the bathroom and his things are already laid out on the sink. Jungkook even went as far as to pick out Taehyung's outfit.

Taehyung smiles as he sees that Jungkook picked one of his shirts for him to wear.

Jungkook must have noticed how Taehyung would always steal his clothes when he came over.

Taehyung showers and dresses, taking his time in hopes that Jungkook would be back by time he was finished.

Taehyung exits the bathroom carrying his old clothes in his hand.

The house is still quiet and there's no sign of Jungkook.

Taehyung pouts to himself and goes to put his things away.

"Where are you?" Taehyung says quietly looking down at his phone as he packed his clothes away.

Just as the thought escapes his mind he hears the front door opening.

Taehyung skips from the room and down the hall with a smile on his face.

Taehyung walks into the living in time to see Jungkook shut the door behind him.

"Hey." Taehyung says getting his attention.

"Hey." Jungkook says back a small smile appearing on his face when he sees Taehyung.

"How'd it go?" Taehyung asks as Jungkook removes his blazer.

"I don't know honestly." Jungkook says shaking his head. "I felt good about it though."

"That's good." Taehyung nods biting back his smile.

"What are you smiling about?" Jungkook asks smiling a little as well.

"I don't know." Taehyung shrugs covering his smile self-consciously.

"You're cute." Jungkook grins tossing his jacket over the back of the couch.

"Stop." Taehyung gripes as Jungkook puts his arms around his waist.

"Stop what? Telling the truth?" Jungkook asks innocently.

Taehyung puts his arm around Jungkook's neck. "No. You only say those things to make me happy."

"Nonsense Taehyung." Jungkook gasps. "I only speak my mind I swear."

    "Don't swear." Taehyung scolds.

"I promise." Jungkook corrects himself. "Shall we pinky promise?"

"Not today." Taehyung says pulling away from Jungkook.

"My mom wants to make you breakfast." Jungkook says taking Taehyung's hand. "And she wouldn't take no for an answer so..."

"Just tell her... I'm allergic to breakfast." Taehyung says sarcastically.

"Come on. It won't be half as bad as dinner with my family." Jungkook says.

"That's great. That makes me feel so good inside." Taehyung says frowning.

Jungkook let's go of Taehyung's hand and grabs his blazer from the couch.

"Come on. Put your shoes on." Jungkook says.

Taehyung sits on the couch and pulls his shoes on.

    "Aren't Tom's a woman's shoe?" Jungkook asks.

"Isn't it the 21st century?" Taehyung asks standing.

"Hey. My question was easy." Jungkook complains.

"Stop making fun of my shoes and come on." Taehyung says nudging Jungkook.

Jungkook smiles leading Taehyung from the guest house.

Taehyung's breath is completely taken away at how huge and expensive everything looks.

Why would a family of three have all of this? They couldn't possibly need it.

"My parents are a little weird about. Me. So. Just ignore them." Jungkook says as they near the house.

"Why are they weird about you?" Taehyung asks.

"I don't know." Jungkook says. "And another thing."

Jungkook stops them both taking Taehyung's hand.

"They don't. They don't really know about you. I mean. T-They know about you of course but they d-don't know about us. But I'm going to tell them. Everything has just been so hectic in the house lately and they're never around to talk to. And I don't want you to feel like it's because I don't want to tell them because I do. I really do. I care about you so much and~"

    "Jungkook." Taehyung cuts him off.

Jungkook looks up from his shoes not even realizing he was looking down.

"It's okay." Taehyung says with a shy smile.

    "It's not okay." Jungkook says.

"It's okay." Taehyung says again. "The time will come."

"Why are you so understanding?" Jungkook wonders aloud.

Taehyung smiles at him before releasing his hand.

"But until the time comes." Taehyung says. "I guess we're friends again."

    "What?" Jungkook frowns.

"Sorry pal." Taehyung says with a shrug.

    "You're ridiculous." Jungkook laughs.

"No. I'm your friend. Right?" Taehyung asks.

Jungkook narrows his eyes at the other boy.

"Lead the way. Pal." Taehyung says smiling knowingly.

"I'm telling them tomorrow. Pal." Jungkook says before leading the way.

Taehyung sits across from Mrs. Jeon next to Jungkook barely eating as Mrs. Jeon fires off questions.

"So how long have you and Jungkook been friends?" She asks him.

"Um. Since he got here I guess." Taehyung shrugs.

"Oh. You guys seem really close for only knowing each other for what? Two months?" Mrs. Jeon says.

"Yeah. Something like that." Taehyung says glancing at Jungkook who is stuffing his face with a smug expression.

"So Taehyung. Where are you from?" Mrs. Jeon asks.

"Oh. I'm from Daegu." Taehyung says.

"That's where you're family is located?" Mrs. Jeon asks.

"Yeah. Well my mom's family is from there. But. Yeah." Taehyung says with an uncomfortable smile.

"Oh. I would love to meet your mother one day." Mrs. Jeon says.

"Mom. Can you please relax with all the questions." Jungkook finally speaks up.

"No. It's fine." Taehyung says. "I don't mind."

Mrs. Jeon smiles. "See. He doesn't mind."

"I don't care. Relax." Jungkook says.

Taehyung raises his eyebrow. What kind of mother would let her son talk to her that way.

Taehyung made a mental note to scold Jungkook for his impoliteness later.

"What are your plans for the future Taehyung?" Mrs. Jeon asks.

"I don't know really." Taehyung answers honestly. "I know I'm moving to Seoul after high school."

Taehyung and Jungkook glance at each other at the same time catching each other's eyes for a moment.

"Seoul? That's wonderful." Mrs. Jeon says. "It's a beautiful place."

"Yeah." Taehyung nods looking down at his food.

"You don't seem too thrilled about it." Mrs. Jeon smiles. "Aren't you excited?"

"Yeah. Just a little nervous about it so..." Taehyung says biting his lip.

Jungkook smiles fondly at Taehyung for a moment before standing and taking his plate along with his mom's and leaving the dining room.

"I'm done too." Taehyung says standing to take his plate as well.

Taehyung follows Jungkook out of the dining room.

"You don't want to go to Seoul." Jungkook says, his back to Taehyung as he puts the dishes in the sink.

Taehyung dumps his food in the bin not answering right away. "I do."

"Why?" Jungkook asks taking Taehyung's plate from his hands.

"I've dreamed of going to Seoul since I was younger." Taehyung shrugs.

    "Dreams change." Jungkook says.

"My didn't. I still want to go to Seoul so." Taehyung shrugs biting his lip.

"You don't have to lie to me Tae. You know I support any decisions you make. Even if you change your mind a thousand times." Jungkook says turning and leaning against the sink.

"I'm not lying. I'm just.. unsure." Taehyung says crossing his arms.

"What's in Seoul anyways?" Jungkook asks.

Taehyung sighs running his fingers through his hair, making it more disheveled than it already was.

"When my mom left. That's where she said she was going." Taehyung says. "She might've been lying or... I don't know. But I don't care so. Even if she isn't. She might be."

Jungkook nods. "I hope she is."

    "Me too." Taehyung nods.

The kitchen door swings open and Mrs. Jeon enters.

"Jungkook. I need you to go to the grocery store and pick up a few things before your aunt gets here." She says walking to the fridge and taking of a sticky note with a list of things on it.

Jungkook sighs. "Come on Tae."

Jungkook grabs the paper from his mother.

"Taehyung. You're welcome to stay here if you'd like." Mrs. Jeon offers.

Taehyung opens his mouth to respond but Jungkook speaks first.

"He'll come with me." Jungkook says  before leading Taehyung from the kitchen.

Taehyung frowns as he follows Jungkook from the kitchen.
