"First day," Felix muttered, sighing as he observed his frail frame in the mirror. He closed up the final button of his shirt, tucking the top into his pants, then swiftly collecting his empty briefcase from the nightstand. "I got this."
Felix looked at his phone one more time just to see if his friends had a change of plans, but only frowned to see the same text from Seungmin saying that the couple couldn't follow as moral support on his first day.
Trying to shake off the slumped expressions, Felix collected his keys from the table, scurrying out of his apartment to get to the bus stop, flashing subtle waves and bows to the strangers in the elevator and pathway. "I can't be late on my first day."

"Good morning, Sir," Felix spoke nervously, surprised to see his boss already waiting at the front desk. "H-how are you today?" The blonde stuttered, unsure of exactly what to say.
"No need to be shy, Felix," Minho smiled affirmatively, placing some files onto the desk before meeting the younger near the door. "I just waited for you this morning to help you settle in," he smiled, motioning for Felix to take his rightful place behind table. "These are some files that you have to get organized, just to clear off some past or missed appointments, and then prepare for calls and emails anytime during working hours."
"Y-yes sir," Felix mumbled, taking his seat hesitantly, shakily pulling the folder closer to him. "I will do my best here," he smiled softly.
"That's what my last secretary said," Minho straightened his glasses, clearly disappointed at the memory of his past secretary's lackadaisical attitudes. "But, your friends put in a really good word for you so I think you'll be different," he nodded at the latter, already leaving for the hallway introducing three new doors. "If you need any help, you can find me in this office here," he motioned to the one on the right," or you could inquire with my soon to be fiancé, Jisung, in there," he blushed almost unnoticeably, flashing a light wave to Felix before going about his duties.
Felix sighed, finally feeling a bit relieved as the superior had left him alone. "Files..." he muttered, scanning over the first paper filled with missed and cancelled appointments- there was this one name though, that seemed to appear troublingly more than the others.
"Christopher Bang," Felix mumbled, only audible to himself as he traced his fingers over the print. "Skipping all of your appointments, hm," he searched the draw for a pen, hesitantly drawing the ink over the most prominent name as well as a few others. "This isn't so bad after-all."

8:30am
Chan and Changbin had somewhat drew closer over that weekend- not a sincere, goal oriented closeness, but one of mere lust and temporary feelings that only lasted in bed.
Or actually- the right thing to say was that that absence of feeling and emotions was sort of one-sided between the two. Maybe it was because Chan had fallen so deep into his addiction that the feeling was now able to mask all other forms of expression, only bringing satisfaction to one part of his body; or maybe it was because Changbin was just one to fall in too deep, too easily. Maybe it was because Changbin had only then felt accepted and satisfied without guilt...
That morning, after answering the call from the deep voiced stranger, the blonde had prepared some questions for Changbin- but their rush of early morning hormones had sort of clogged Chan's mind, so the older didn't see fit to question Changbin after he had given him so much needed pleasure.
The blonde leaned against the doorframe of his bedroom, gazing at a sleeping Changbin, chewing on his lower lip softly as he observed the subtle snores from the latter. It was just another morning after their new routine, and Chan had already gotten used to having the stranger around- well more like used to having a convenient, temporary sex partner on his bedside to sufficiently fill the gaps of his three day abstinence.
It was undeniable that the addict enjoyed the new foreign company as it kept him a bit more at ease and full-filled throughout the silence of the late, ghostly hours- Chan's favorite part of it all being the fact that the usual sounds of crickets and few passing cars were replaced with breathy moans and praises whenever he'd pleaser the stranger.
But the new sexual attention Chan received only made the boy realize how truly needy and addicted he was. It brought back the memory of his failed attempts in trying to seek help by taking some therapy sessions- you know, to maybe speak out all of his problems and feelings instead of ramming them into somebody else.
"C-Chan?" Changbin mumbled, voice raspy as he regained morning consciousness. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He chuckled lightly, stretching along the sheets. "You're weird."
Brushing aside his thoughts, Chan joined the younger on the his bed, wrapping an arm around him. "You're just so cute when you sleep," he kissed Changbin's forehead, following up with more pecks all over the boy's face- never once touching his lips. Those actions were void of all genuine feeling and emotion though, only performed as a mere copy of what he'd seen in movies, or deciphered out of a stereotypical society. "How was your night?"
Blushing under the older's touch, Changbin stuttered- the leveled up affection from the male reminding him of Felix; Felix that he left so effortlessly- Felix that had always tried to show him that same physical affection, but with overflowing bundles of love.
"I- C-Chan stop it," Changbin's heart did a thing, skipping beats as he realized that the two were literally having a cuddle moment.
It was so surreal, how the stripper he had turned down was now making his heart flutter- how the boy he had lied to was now supposedly treating him like the most precious and valuable being in his arms- how he was somehow falling for Chan; the same Chan who was obviously only cherishing his transient presence for uncomplicated, personal gain.

"I wonder if-" Felix paused, contemplating whether or not he should question either of the psychologists on such a seemingly unimportant topic.
The number of times that he saw 'Christopher Bang's' name pop up on almost all of the files had him a bit concerned; concerned as to whether or not that person was okay. "I wonder if I'm allowed to call patients about their missed appointments."
Felix sighed before leaving his desk, hesitantly walking along the hallway. "Shit," the blonde swore, biting his lip, trying to remember which door lead to where. "I'll try this one."
Knocking almost inaudibly a few times, Felix finally heard a soft 'come in' from a less familiar voice than his boss'. He cracked the door open slightly, forcing a smile to the new face sitting behind a desk- just one aspect of the living-room-like decorated space. "I-I'm the new secretary," he started, drawing in the rest of his body. "I-I just have a quick question."
"Go ahead," Jisung smiled kindly at the younger, placing down a pile of papers to the corner of the table. "What's up, Felix?"
"Y-yeah. Um I was wondering, if someone keeps skipping or missing their appointments, should I call back? Just to see if they're okay?" He questioned shyly, looking down.
"Hm," Jisung started, shaking his head im disappointment from the realization. "You must be talking about Mr. Bang. Yeah he's a tough one, always misses his appointments. But if it suits you, go ahead and call back. Make sure that everything is okay," he reassured Felix with a nod, directing his attention back to his documents. "We should have a patient coming in soon so be prepared."
Felix nodded submissively, taking himself back to his rightful position at the front desk. He still wasn't sure whether or not it was a good idea to call Christopher on his first day when he was still unfamiliar with everything.
"Maybe later this week," Felix mumbled, taking back his seat. "I'll call if he doesn't come anytime this week."
