M&J Psychology Clinic
9:50am

"So you guys are letting me go in by myself?" Felix muttered, tone throaty as he eyed the fairly-sized clinic stretching out a short distance before the parking lot. "Can't you just, I don't know, walk me in?" He glared playfully at the two as they didn't even attempt to hide their chuckles at his helplessness.

"It's the first day of school, not a job interview," Hyunjin rolled his eyes, laughing some more until he felt a light force sting his arm. "What was that for?"

"You really don't listen to yourself, do you?" Seungmin teased, shaking his head, "What Jinnie means is that it's a job interview, not the first day of school," he laughed, "Just go, do your interview, and come back out. The job is sure for you anyways."

Felix nodded confidently, smiling at his friends before stepping out of the vehicle.

"I got this," he mumbled for encouragement, taking steady steps toward the entrance; an empty brief case held up formally by his arm, and his white dress shirt decently buttoned and tucked into his trousers. "Changbin has nothing on me."

10:00am

"Good-- good morning," Felix began with a stutter, taking a seat at the desk in the doctor's office, and failing to make out the unfamiliar face sitting behind. "Pleasure to have this opportunity s-sir. My name is Lee Felix-"

Looking up from his documents, the man closely observed Felix; how the man looked so timid-- so vulnerable as if he had just been through something.

"Good morning, Felix. I assume that you've already familiarized yourself with the requirements and proper ethics as the position of my secretary," the head therapist, identified to be Lee Minho, greeted professionally, glancing at his list of questions for the interviewee, even though he already had all intentions of hiring Felix. "So tell me about yourself, your skills, hobbies, experience?" He glanced down at Felix's resumé.

Felix muttered a curse under his breath, feeling let down at the fact that he still had to do a real interview when his friends had assured him the job; he was not at all prepared for that interrogation.

"Well, I aspire to be a psychologist one day," he lied, faking a smile, "And I'm currently taking a course online to make my dream become a reality. My hobbies include baking," Felix paused, waiting for some type of reaction from the superior, but upon concluding that there would be no comment, he assumed that his hobby was maybe somewhat unimpressive, instilling obligation that he make up another lie. "I-I also study, in my spare time. I try to go deeper in learning than just my classes," Felix faked another awkward grin, sighing.

Smiling, knowingly, Minho nodded and handed back the male his resume.

"Interesting young man, Felix," he chuckled, "When would you like to start?"

"W-wait, y-you mean I got it? I got the job?" Felix squealed and made an attempt to clap, but was swift to regain his professional composure, "Sorry, I mean Monday will be fine, you know since tomorrow is already Friday. I'd rather start a week fresh."

Minho then nodded in agreement, stretching a hand out to shake the slimmer's. "Works for me," he smiled. "And your friends are pretty cool-- pushy, but cool."

Felix then nodded repetitively, taking his new boss' hand into his before politely dragging the chair at which he sat back from the table. "They're the best," he said, already gripping the doorknob. "Thank you for this opportunity, Mr. Lee. I won't let you down."

"Stop eating each other's face out and unlock the damn door for me," Felix almost yelled, narrowing his eyes jokingly at the couple whilst continuously pulling at the handle to the backseat. "I know you see me."

Chuckling out of their kiss, Hyunjin rolled his eyes at the mutual before finally unlocking for him to enter. "Gosh, Lix, since when are you so jealous," he taunted, Seungmin childishly rolling his eyes.

Ignoring the obviously provoking question, Felix's expression merged back into one filled with nothing but smiles and laughter. "I got the job," he squealed again, that time without restriction or fear of being judged by his new superior. "It was scary as heck, but I got it. Thank you guys so much."

"Yeah of course," Seungmin spoke, voice not holding one hint of surprise or impression, since he and his partner were really the main drivers behind that wheel of success. Glancing at Felix through the rearview mirror before speaking again, a warm smile lifted either side of his face. "So we're taking you home, right?"

"Gosh, Seungmin, I know you planned it but you could at least act a little excited," Felix complained, slightly disappointed with his best friends' lack of verbal interest. "But yeah sure, h-home," he then blinked back a few tears, still not fully settled into the reality that Changbin wasn't there; the realization that the man that he had gotten so used to seeing every day for the past four months had left- so easily, and so enjoyably.

It really stung, repainting the smile that Changbin had worn upon leaving that apartment with pre-packed bags behind his eyelids. It hurt Felix, and it urged him to wonder how long had it been since he had lost his boyfriend without even knowing- what amount of time had passed since Changbin started burying his feelings of disgust towards his lover that he came up with the idea of packing in advance to be able to leave at any time.

Felix wondered how many people Changbin had slept with, before coming back to lay on that same shared bed every night.

He no longer had anyone he could happily bake brownies for again; even though Changbin had stopped smiling at the taste. He didn't have anyone to cuddle and shower with kisses again, even though Changbin never hesitated to push him away in recent weeks. He'd miss his frail attempts at late-night snuggles that would only draw out heavy breaths from his ex; sometimes the only thing that would reassure that Felix wasn't the only one in the apartment.

The memories of when he and Changbin had first moved in together resurfaced; how the man was so sweet and happy, so caring that he even suggested that Felix shouldn't find a job after his graduation because, "My job pays well enough, it can sustain us."

He remembered how Changbin had promised to wait for him, until he was comfortable enough with his body after coming out. It wasn't until Felix had playfully held the male in a chokehold one time, and ignored the low but noticeable moan that had escaped his mouth that Changbin had changed.

He had then taken up the habit of wearing chokers for whatever reason only known to him, but soon stopped and replaced that feeling by always wrapping his boyfriend's fingers around his neck playfully.

Felix didn't know why he did that-he didn't know why Changbin acted up when they had a spontaneous discussion about their obvious positions in the relationship. He didn't know why Changbin came home drunk, high, or shirtless on some mornings.

"Felix, you okay?" Seungmin questioned with concern, looking over his shoulder to see Felix staring blankly forward, tears somehow rolling down the freckled face, even though it maintained no expression.

Gulping, Felix escaped his stifling session of overthinking, wiping away the tears as all numbness subsided returned. "I-I'm fine," he muttered. "I didn't know I was crying. But y-yeah, you guys can take me home," he smiled softly.

Hyunjin then looked over at Seungmin, and the latter back at his boyfriend before rebottling, "Nope. We are not leaving you alone to cry over that jerk, so choose one. Either we go out somewhere, or we have a day together at your house."

Felix chuckled quietly, thankful for Hyunjin's idea because only God knew how he truly did not want to be left alone for the entire day.

"Fine," he agreed, trying not to laugh, "We could go hang out at the park or something?"

"I mean it's a pretty hot day today," Hyunjin complained, earning a poke from his boyfriend. "But yeah, anything for our Lix."

I may not know much about this hyper-sexual disorder, but I don't think you can get him to be loyal, Lix.
