Park Seoul - 9th District
6:06pm

It was now Saturday, and Felix was making his way to the park although Chan didn't communicate to confirm. "It's worth a shot," he mumbled, sighing in attempt ease coming anxiety.

Felix strolled to the same bench that they had shared the last time, slumping slightly when he saw that nobody was there. He still took a seat, scanning the at all angles for any faded sight of Chan. But besides the cuddled couples and friends lingering in the area, the familiar addict was no where in sight.

6:38pm

About a half hour in, and Felix was getting restless. Yes, a short, lonely meditation at the park seemed all good at first, but it usually soon escalates into something not-so-pleasant for an over-thinker. Felix couldn't help but feel like Chan was somewhat fed up of seeing him, or that Chan had purposely ditched him.

He got tired of the wait and noticeable stares of passers by as he sat alone, idly. So sighing again, Felix stood up, aiming to exit the park— but he still hoped to at least see Chan on the way. Whether or not the older was with someone else or doing something, Felix just wanted to see him, to make sure he was okay.

Felix was looking down as he strolled, only glimpsing up a few times to make sure that his upper passage was clear. It was with one of those glimpses that he made out the familiarly built male, completely recognizable with his classic black sweater.

Felix froze, gazing as the older strolled into the park, trying his best to hide a small limp. "C-Christopher?" He mumbled, walking up to catch up with the blonde as he thought the boy was moving to slow.

"Felix," Chan faked a smile, waving lightly. "I'm so sorry I'm late... I won't let it happen again," he nodded, observing how Felix only stood still in front of him.

Felix wanted to hug Chan, but he was scared; he was scared that the older would think that he was weird or clingy. He became even more anxious as his mind ran over Chan's problem and all of the possible corrupt explanations as to why he was late, and even skipped his appointment. "A-are you okay?" Felix mumbled, now strolling side to side with the older. "I was really worried, especially as you missed your appointment yesterday."

Chan sighed, squinting with every step from the aftereffect of his payment. "Month ends are a bit hectic for me," he bit his lip, sighing out of relief as they finally approached the bench. "I'm sorry for not communicating properly though, maybe we should exchange numbers so that I can communicate better?" Chan looked away as he made that request. He didn't mean to— he hoped that he didn't come on too strong with Felix, in fear that the boy would become scared or uncomfortable with him.

"I-I actually called you yesterday afternoon," Felix looked down, blushing slightly but still a bit uncomfortable. "You declined three times, so I guess you can just save the number from your missed calls," he thinned a smile, finally looking to the side to lock eyes with the older. "But are you okay, Chan? I mean I understand you said it's hectic, but you missed your appointment and still came late to our da- hang out... and you're walking kind of funny," he pouted, looking away when Chan didn't smile at his questions. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude. We can talk about something else if you'd like."

"N-no, it's okay," Chan cleared his throat, looking away. He didn't want to lie, but he couldn't possibly tell Felix that he was sleeping with his landlord for free rent— he couldn't possibly tell Felix that he was walking funny because he doesn't usually bottom, and Jackson always intended to go hard. "I- I always work harder on month ends so I missed, and I took a slight slip today so I hurt my knee a bit," he avoided eye contact with Felix, faking a wince when the boy brought his hand near the so-called injured knee.

"I'm so sorry to hear that," Felix mumbled, pulling his hand away from the latter. "Um... so where do you work, may I ask?"

"I'm not really comfortable talking about it," Chan thinned a smile, hurt that he had to keep lying to Felix. "Anyways, how was your day?" He pouted slightly when he noticed how the younger was trying to shy away his slight embarrassment.

"Not bad, just the usual," Felix sighed, staring off at the distance. "How are you? How has your progress been?"

"Well," Chan muttered, looking down. "I guess this is the best I've ever been," he chuckled lightly, turning to face Felix.

"Really, why do you say that?" Felix locked eyes with the older, smiling softly. "Sounds like your sessions are really helping."

"Trust me, Felix. It's not the sessions. I've just never really had a friend, per say. I've never had anyone I could decently hang out with on a Saturday evening like this." Chan looked at Felix, smile fading as his words sunk in.

It hurt, what he said. It hurt more when he actually brought those words out. He had never gotten comfortable enough to tell so much of his... feelings? Those thoughts that he always had; those thoughts that always ate him up inside but could never be put into words... his mind was finally finding a way to form those sentences. Chan gulped, lowering his head. "It's just really cool, being out with somebody. Thank you for that," he spoke softly.

Felix tilted, smiling brightly at the older. "Chan," he mumbled, bringing his head over Chan's thighs to look up and lock eyes as the blonde's face hovered above his. "This is nothing," he chuckled, lightly petting the boy's face. "Look, if you want, we could even do this every Saturday." Felix leaned away from the addict, still smiling.

He was genuine with his actions. His lack of knowledge on Chan's addiction had him thinking that it was all a harmless time out. It had him thinking that maybe Chan was just going through a phase, and that the boy's forced expression of his feelings was just a normal thing.

He didn't think that his words and actions would have any real impact on Chan. He didn't think when he looked Chan in the eyes from a bottom level, that the older would be fighting with his inner-self— that shadows of lust and love would be fighting each other for dominance in his eyes... for the way that he should view Felix.

"Are you serious, Lix," Chan gulped at the pet name, finally lifting his head to look at the younger. "You wanna meet up here every Saturday?"

"Why not," Felix smiled, once again staring off at the distance. "It's not like I usually have anything substantial to do at this time of day."

"Felix this means so fucking much," Chan couldn't keep back the tear from escaping his eye, but thankfully, the younger's head was turned so he notice see before Chan could wipe it off. "I-I'm so happy to have a real friend now."

"I'm glad that you're happy," Felix smiled, looking at Chan. "Now let's get to know each other as friends, shall we? Tell me your favorite color or something," he joked, waiting for an answer from the older.

"Well I really like navy blue," Chan smiled softly at Felix. "What's yours?"

"Navy? I honestly thought you'd say black," Felix chuckled. "Mine is actually black, that's why I lowkey dig your clothing style."

Chan blushed lightly, mentally slapping himself to get it off. "Cool," he muttered. "Favorite snack?"

7:30pm

Changbin lingered at the back of the park, pacing and gagging as he observed the echoed giggles and speeches of the two. He too had tried to reach Chan the day before, but the male had declined his call his call as well— this time maybe because he actually knew it was Changbin calling since they had exchanged numbers a few days back.

Changbin became worried when the boy wasn't picking his calls so he drove to his house, only to see a more expensive looking car parked in his usual space... but he still waited. He waited for about an hour, until he saw Chan and an unfamiliar, older man walk out of the building, both boarding the more expensive vehicle and driving off to who knows where.

Changbin got jealous, especially considering the fact that Chan's mind was probably so clouded with sexual images and fantasies of someone else that he couldn't even notice the younger.

Now that Saturday night, Changbin went to pay the addict a visit earlier than usual, only to find the boy entering his car to leave for somewhere else again. So Changbin followed.

He followed sneakily behind the older, never in a million years expecting to see his prude ex-boyfriend sitting with his sex-addicted hookup.

It was frustrating for him, and disgusting... so Changbin didn't plan on just sitting back to watch them grow closer without doing something about it. "I'll confront him," he muttered, still straining to view the two in the dark distance. "This- they won't fucking happen."

It was possessiveness, that he felt. It was jealousy to keep two people that he hurt from moving on. Changbin was well aware that he could have neither of them for himself... so he could hardly stand the thought of them together— he didn't want to see them together... not when he was still alone.
