Three months later...
53 out of 300 inmates were transported to the Reykjavik Fangelisi ship for the journey to Husavik. Among the 53 were Joshua, who is now a fully trained mechanic and tech engineer.
During the training, he spent time learning the language from Eloise, and has learned to communicate with other Icelandic prisoners and staff.
Eloise was also recruited for the journey to Husavik. He was hired to be a translator, and spy. When he was interviewed by the assistant head officer on why they wanted them to spy for them, he told him it was only to watch for the possible enemy.
Both Joshua and Eloise have no idea what the possible enemy is.
In the morning, Joshua, Eloise, and the 51 inmates were transferred to a cargo bus to be taken to the Fangelisi ship.
As they rode together, the two observed their surroundings. They were with other inmates that either knew or didn't know what was happening for the mission.
"Did they tell you anything?" Joshua asked.
"Nei." Eloise replied.
"They told you nothing about the possible enemy?"
"Ekki oro."
"Pögn!" An officer shouted.
He banged his cane in front of Joshua and Eloise, which caused them to lean back against the seat.
"They're very næmur about this mission." Eloise said. "We mustn't say too much."
"Why not?" Joshua asked.
"Because anyone one of them can be the possible enemy, even some of the Fangelisi Yfirmenn aren't trustworthy."
Joshua leaned forward and glanced at some of the officers at the front of the cargo bus. He didn't think any of them could be capable of being the possible enemy.
"They seem trustworthy to me."
Eloise pulled him aside.
"Listen to me, Joshua. These men could be tied with them, and we must be very careful with who we're around. Do you understand?"
Joshua nodded, and Eloise nodded back.
"Allt í lagi."

When they arrived to the Fangelisi ship, the inmates were taken to the meeting room, where they were met with the people who run the mission.
Once everyone was situated, the big man stepped forward towards the inmates. He was a tall man with a very intimidating face, which made everyone want to run away.
Even the staff members were afraid, but they dared not question his authority.
He looked upon the inmates and gave his greeting with his very thick Icelandic accent.
"Kveojur, fangar."
"Avörp, herra."
The man smiled; showing his crooked teeth.
"You respond well. Please allow me to introduce myself, eh?"
The inmates showed they were content with him.
Joshua looked at Eloise with suspicion.
"Who is this guy?"
"Ég veit ekki."
The big man caught the eye of Joshua and Eloise, which caused them to quickly shut their mouths and hide in silence.
"Anyway, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Marshall Aron Kemp, and I'm in charge of this mission to Husavik."
Joshua had never heard a strange name like Aron Kemp, but it made him shiver to the core; knowing that this man was running his life now.
Even Eloise was intimidated.
"As you may know, you all have been ráoio over the past 3 months to join our crusade. We are very excited to share the mission with every one of you. We know your talents, and we know your skills, which is what makes you important to our journey."
Joshua turned to Eloise.
"Do you think he'll be impressed with us?"
He scoffed.
"With a face like that, I doubt it."
Kemp continued.
"Now, before we talk about your tasks, we must warn you that overpopulation has spread into this journey. We take rebellious acts very seriously, no matter how small they are. Because of your crimes, we've implanted extra measures to make sure this ship runs its course."
He leaned closer to the alarmed inmates.
"You break our rules, punishment will take place. The second offense is immediate termination."
Joshua and Eloise faced each other.
"Could he be the possible enemy?" Josh asked.
"Ekki núna, Joshua. We barely know him yet."
Kemp laid his eyes back on the two, which quickly made them step back and not make anymore predictions.
Then, he stepped back to address the inmates.
"Do I make myself clear, herrar mínir?"
"Já, herra."
Kemp smiled; once again showing his crooked teeth of suspension.
"Gódur."

At the end of the speech, Kemp went on to explain the tasks of each inmate on the ship. First were the cleaners, then the ship sweepers, cooks, maids, care techs, and medics.
Eloise's position as translator and spy was announced, then Joshua's position as mechanic and tech engineer was last.
After that, they were given their schedules and assigned bunks. Joshua and Eloise were lucky enough to be put in a bunk together since they already shared a cell back in the Reykjavik Fangelisi.
The bunk was no different than the old one, but it was way smaller. They had a smaller toilet that could barely fit them, and the air was freezing cold.
The only thing that could give them warmth was the bright window that was the only one to bring the sun through.
When the two entered their cell, Eloise immediately jumped onto the top bunk, which Joshua didn't mind since he was so used to sleeping on the bottom.
As Joshua laid back onto the hard but pleasant pillow, Eloise called to him from above.
"Are you prepared?"
"Very much so. If I do this, I'll get out of here."
"Beware of lies, Joshua. The Fangelisi Yfirmenn cannot be trusted, especially on a mission like this."
"Why do you think that?"
"You heard the harsh words of Kemp. Any wrong move could get us gassed, and I certainly don't want to see you be the first to go."
Joshua looked away in sorrow, but Eloise didn't give up on him.
"I know you want to leave, but freedom doesn't come that easy."
Joshua sighed.
"I know."
Eloise gave a light smile.
"Let's just get through what is coming tomorrow, díll?"
Joshua looked at his friend and nodded.
"Díll."
Eloise chuckled.
"Dásamlegt, vinur."
He leaned back on the top bunk and clapped his hands, which shut off the light.
"Good night, Joshua."
The boy closed his eyes and began to dream, while envisioning his distant freedom that he prayed would come.
