Before he touched the doorknob he stopped dead in his tracks.

She was about to show a video of him sprouting his wings but found her phone was missing. Ryu turned around with a pissed expression.

He held her phone up with the video of his wings coming out. Soon he crushed the phone with his bare hands.

Rias: ... You know you could have just deleted it.

Ryu: Lucky for you, I'm in a neutral mood. So I'm going to let you explain why you just tried to blackmail me. If it's shit, I might just eradicate you.

Rias felt all the hairs on her neck go up from that threat.

Rias: Ok then, I guess I should come clean.

Ryu: Come clean about what?

Rias: Well, my father and brother set up a mirage for me without any of my consent. They insist it's for the Future of Devils, but the one the want me to marry is Riser Phenex.

Ryu later on the floor as Rias pulled out a Rook piece and placed it on his chest with a magic circle appearing around him.

Rias: In the name of Rias Gremory I beseech thee Ryu Lucile. Be reborn as my Demon Rook.

The rook piece sunk into his chest as lightning came off the piece. When it fully sunk in the red magic circle disappeared. He got up and dusted his shoulders off.

Rias: Well Ryu, you are now apart of the Gremory Family.

Ryu: Family huh?

Rias: That's right. None of us have had a simple past either. We treat each other like family.

Ryu looked up with a barely visible smile on his face.

Ryu: Hm. The guess that's cool.

Rias: 'He finally smiled.'

Ryu: Anyway what now?

Rias: Now we wait for Issei.

Ryu: Hold up Hyoudou? Is it because he has a Sacred Gear too?

He turned around and closed the door.

Rias: Well, considering that he mutated the piece in a way I've never seen before, you tell me.

Ryu was walk my back home with Tiamat speaking to him.

Tiamat: Well, I guess you finally have a family.

Ryu: One that I know. I still have no idea who my parents are. I grew up alone in the underworld and still found nothing. But if the Super Perv is joining I may have to kill something.

Ryu woke up in bed and got up somewhat vitalized than usual.

Ryu: Hm. A little more energy than usual.

Tiamat: Good signs so far for the morning.

He jumped out of bed doing his normal routine. Doing a few pushups and squats, brushing his hair and teeth, and putting on his clothes ready to take on the day. He went downstairs kicking the door down and jumping onto the sidewalk.

Ryu: Yup, I have a feeling something good for me is gonna happen.

Tiamat: See? Having a positive outlook on life can be great.

He put his headphones on and began walking around singing.

He looked up and thought of a 6'6 black and red haired male.

Ryu: Hanging out with him was cool.

He continued walking until he saw Issei walking with a girl.

Ryu: 'Hold on, I think that's a Fallen Angel...'

Tiamat: Ohhh that might be why.

Ryu: 'Tia where's my popcorn and Mountain Dew! I've already got my camera too! OHOHOO THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!'

For the rest of the time Ryu watched Issei and "Yuma" spend the day with each other. The entire time he was trailing them hiding in plain sight. He grabbed a few bottles of Mountain Dew and some popcorn.

Ryu: 'Alright they're going to the fountain, I can sense a little bit of killing intent so this is gonna be it.'

Tiamat: It's nice to see you focused on another thing so much.

Fun Fact: Tiamat is the Best Friend/Sister figure to Ryu.

Ryu: 'Our relationship can only be described as confusing.'

Tiamat: Pretty accurate.

"Yuma": Issei, I want to do something for this special occasion.

Ryu: 'Come on get on with it you manipulating bitch.'

Issei: Sure, anything for you.

"Yuma" went in front of him.

Ryu at this point already started filming in the tree he was hiding in.

Issei had a shocked look on his face as she began to transform into her true form with much less clothing.

Ryu: 'YES!! FINALLY I CAN ACTUALLY SEE HIM DIE ONCE!!'

Tiamat: Weather it's a good thing you're happy about this, I don't know.

The Fallen Angel had a red spear of light in her hands. Issei tried to run but immediately got impaled through the stomach.

Ryu: 'I can say this, I don't like the method in the slightest, and I'll probably kill her for it, but I love the results.'

"Yuma": Sorry but I had to fool you. You were just far too great a risk to us. If you want to blame anyone blame him he's the one who gave you the Sacred Gear.

The light in Issei's eyes began to diminish as Ryu spoke out loud.

Ryu: And save.

"Yuma": Huh? Who's there?

Ryu jumped out from the tree.

Ryu: Yo.

"Yuma": Oh great, a humans here. Well you've seen my true form. Prepare to die.

She threw a light spear towards him but instead of dodging, he didn't move as it hit him and shattered into millions of pieces.

Ryu: That was a real fail. Wanna try again?

Tiamat: 'There's no one who could pierce anyone with my protection.'

Yuma: You, how did you survive?!

Ryu: Don't just assume anyone is a human. Actually I'm pretty far from a normal one. I'll let you in on a little secret.

Ryu sprouted his wings shocking The Fallen.

"Yuma": DEVIL WINGS?!!!

Ryu: No these are Angel Wings, you blind or something? Now I'd suggest you leave here before I go into a murder mode.

"Yuma": You're lucky that I didn't have any other orders.

Ryu: Sure whatever.

She flew away leaving Ryu over Issei's body. Soon a flyer glowed as Rias appeared from it.

Ryu: Took you long enough. I didn't think you'd ever show up.

Rias: Wait Ryu? What are you doing here?

Ryu: I definitely didn't watch Issei die and record the whole thing if that's what you're asking.

Rias looked at him before shaking her head.

Ryu: Anyway I'll see you around Cherry.

Rias: Cherry?

Ryu: It's a new nickname for you. I have one for all of you guys. Akeno is Hime, Koneko is Neko, and Kiba is Goldilocks.

Rias: What's Issei's?

Ryu: He doesn't get one. Anyway Imma dip. Look over there.

Rias looked to the right for a brief moment.

Rias: I don't see any-

She looked back and saw Ryu was gone.

Rias: WHAT?!!

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu arrived back home and opened the door to see Koneko eating a donut on his couch.

Ryu: Neko how the hell did you get into my house?

Koneko: You gave me a key.

She spun a key around her finger as Ryu deadpanned.

Tiamat: Oh right her freshman year.

Ryu: Sigh, to hell with it.

He once again jumped up and landed on the couch next to Koneko.

Ryu: You like Smash?

She nodded as he grabbed both controllers and the remote powering on the game.

Koneko: Should I pick Little Mac?

Ryu pressed the random button for Koneko.

Ryu: That answer you're question?

They looked back to the screen seeing that Little Mac was on screen.

Koneko: Rad.

Tiamat: Well Karma is a bitch.

Ryu: MUTHA FU-

After spending the entire Sunday and Monday in his house playing video games with Koneko staying over, they walked to school.

And why they skipped school you ask? Because Ryu said he wanted to.

Ryu: Why exactly did you suddenly wanna stay over again?

Koneko: One: Cause I wanted to. And two: Rias wanted me to keep an eye on you.

Ryu: I record one video of someone dying and now she thinks I'm untrustworthy.

They watched the video a few times before reaching the school. There Ryu was met by Rias with Issei.

Ryu began walking with Issei being dumbfounded.

During class Ryu looked aimlessly at the clock.

He saw there was only 10 seconds left. And as if seconds became nanoseconds, the bell finally rang.

???: Alright class that's the end of the day. Make sure you all study.

Ryu got up from his seat and grabbed Issei by the collar.

Ryu: Alright let's go Issei.

Issei: Hey what the heck?!

Ryu: Either this or people think you're stalking me. And I'm pretty sure you know where that leads to.

Issei thought of multiple girls blood lusted for him trying to "Pervert" Ryu.

Issei: DRAGGING IT IS!

After 5 minutes of walking/Ryu dragging Issei, they made it to inside of the club with Issei hav by the same reaction as Ryu did.

Ryu: Yeah I was pretty overwhelmed.

Ryu immediately noticed the shower going off and got slightly peeved.

Ryu: Cherry say I won't smack the red off you're hair if I catch you showering when you call me here.

Kiba: Good to see you're here Ryu. And you must be the new guy. I'm Yuuto Kiba.

Ryu immediately turned everything out sitting with Koneko.
