I put the paper inside my pocket and quickly finished my burger before heading downstairs and get on the small stage. I turned on the mic and picked up the guitar there before I started singing.

-timeskip to lunch-

"hey alice I'm gonna have lunch at Mgronalds. Wanna come? "izzy asked

" nah, I'll stay and sing here. I'm still quite full from that burger from before"I said. Well to be honest I'd rather not go to Mgronalds and meet that weird employee again.

"oh alright. Don't push yourself too hard. I'm not gonna carry you if you faint "she said

I rolled my eyes and gulped some water from the water bottle they provided me. I strummed my guitar and starts singing again.

I heard a ding from the door, another customer? This cafe is never that crowded. I wonder who came?

I glance there and saw that Mgronalds employee from before. I almost stopped singing as I got surprised and forgot the lyrics for a moment there. I ignore him and act as if I didn't notice him. I hope he doesn't notice me though. Oh but curse my talent at singing. He noticed me singing and I swear I saw him smirk there. He sat near the stage making it hard to not notice him.

"alright. I'll be back after my break. Thank you for listening "I said putting back the guitar and turned off the mic while trying to act normal as I can feel that employee's eyes looking at me. Curse my strong wolf instinct!!

I got off the stage and went to the counter.

" hey Yugino can you get me some lychee tea please? "I asked to my co-worker, Yugino, who's in charge of the cashier

" sure alice. You don't have to pay by the way. It's on the house this time. I know you and your dad is in need of a lot of stuff lately and it costs a lot" she smiled

"wow really? Thanks yugino you're the best! "I said

" I know" she scoffed giving me my lychee tea

I rolled my eyes and went to the corner of the cafe where it isn't noticeable by anyone.

I sipped my tea as I scroll down my phone. I thought I heard footsteps but I shrugged it off. It's probably customers trying to find a seat.

"since you've been avoiding eye contact with me, I'm guessing you got my message? "asked a voice making me almost dropped my phone as I was surprised

" DUDE WHAT THE HECK I ALMOST DROPPED MY PHONE "I shouted, glaring at the Mgronalds employee

" I'm surprised you didn't notice who I am back there....... Alecia" he smirks making me shocked

"h-how do you know my name?? "I asked

" of course I know. How could I not know my general's arch nemesis? Isn't that right Alecia the ice hero? "he smirks yet again

" how do you know me? "I asked still shocked

" duh, the burger I gave you earlier was warm yet you acted as if it was boiling hot"he shrugged

" you're from ente isla aren't you? You're satan right? I should've known! What are you doing here on earth?! "I growled readying my power

" whoa whoa whoa there's no need for a fight. I don't have any magic here. It's a long story. Right now I'm just a part timer at Mgronalds. But soon, I'll become a full timer employee and then I'll keep on going up! One day I'll take control of earth and nobody can stop me! "he said with his evil smile

"...... Yeah... Your plan is dumb. I'm gonna go back to work now if you'll excuse me" I said finishing my tea. I can't believe I got worried back there.

"wha- IT'S NOT DUMB!! you'll see!! "he growled walking away like an angry kid that doesn't get what he wanted

" oh and by the way, my name here is Alice. Use it"I said putting my phone in my pocket

He stopped and looked back before smiling "nice name. Mine is maou sadao. Remember it and don't forget to meet me tonight" he winked making me want to throw my phone to his head but yet again, my phone is too precious.

I sighed and walked back to the stage and starts performing again. I don't see satan... I mean maou around so I'm guessing he's back to work at Mgronalds.

-timeskip at 7 p.m.-

"so Alice, you're heading home? " Izzy asked as she locked the cafe

" no... I'm meeting someone"I sighed

"ooo....... Who is it? OMG DID ALICE FINALLY GET HERSELF A DATE?? AWWW MY BABY IS GROWING UPPP" she squeals

"okay first of all, I'm not your child and second of all, it's not a date! "I facepalmed

" who said so? "asked a voice behind me

" GAH?! "

I turned around facing maou who's now in his white t-shirt and carrying his bike

" awww this is your date alice? I'm so proud of youuuuu"Izzy squealed as she pinched my cheeks

"Izzzyyyyy stahhhppppp... It hurts you idiot "I said rubbing my cheeks as she lets go. I heard maou chuckle behind me making me let out a growl

" well I'll be going now. Have fun you two! "Izzy said before running away, giggling

" that kid... "I growled, why am I friends with her again?

I heard maou chuckle again behind me making me growl " and you mister! What do you mean 'who said so?'? "I asked glaring at him

" what? You're saying it's not? "he smirked, enjoying seeing me all worked up

" of course it's not! I'll never date a demon like you! "

" ouch "he pouts

" and why are you here anyway? Didn't you say you wanted to meet at 8?"I asked

"oh right about that... We closed Mgronalds earlier today since the manager is going to attend a meeting" He said scratching the back of his head

"fine... What do you want to talk about? "I asked

" well first of all, I can sense your magic. How do you get magic in here? "he asked

" isn't it obvious? I collect my magic power by absorbing cold"I said

"well it's freezing here at night so does that mean you get a lot of magic energy right now? "he asked

" I suppose... Let me check"I said

I concentrated my power to my right hand and soon enough, I have my sword on it

"yeah, I got some magic" I said returning my sword before anyone can see

" one more thing, me and ashiya.. "

"SHHHH" He sushed covering my mouth with his hand that smells like french fries

"we're in public you know! "he scowled moving his hands away from my mouth

" anyway as I was saying... Me and ashiya lives not too far away. I was wondering if you could tell us the way of living here"he said scratching his chin

"me? Helping two demons to live on earth? "I scoffed

" oh come on please? We barely know anything here"he pleaded

"fine... But don't think I'm letting my eyes off you" I said

"Great!! Meet me here tomorrow morning at 7. I'll take you to my apartment then "he said somewhat cheerfully

" alright. Wait did lucifer came with you guys? "I asked

" no... Emilia killed him during the war "he said, sighing deeply

Weird.... I could've sworn I sensed his presence nearby... Maybe it's just my head playing games on me

" alright then see ya! "he said mounting his bike

" see ya! "I said walking away. I could feel his eye on me but I shrug it off

I throw myself to my bed and stretched. Man what a day! Meeting satan and having a meet up with him? Geez, it seems like life never gets bored of making my mind blown.

I sighed and checked my phone. 5 text messages. One from dad, two from izzy, and one from Karuchi, a friend of mine who's also from ente isla. Dad doesn't know that though.

I went on patrol again. There's food in the fridge if you're hungry.

As Alice fall asleep, maou on the other hand stares onto his phone. Ashiya already asleep beside him. He then began to type something

He blushes madly and delete it. Mentally slapping himself.
