She seemed taken aback with my tone and her face darkens before she spoke in Ente Islan language "I want to take you back with me to Ente Isla"

"no thanks" I shrugged before I turn around, about to go to Mgronald's to meet Maou since we obviously can't meet up here now

"excuse me??" she asked as she grabbed my wrist

I growled lightly as my personal space has been interrupted by the most annoying person I know. I snapped my arm away from her and look at her sharply in the eyes.

"I said, no"

"you cannot do that!! You must-"

"I must what? Do what you want? Who are you to me? My mother? Please! What kind of mother poisoned her five years old child for her stupid experiment??!!!" I shrieked

" at least you're not dead because of it" she said while rolling her green eyes

"but I could've died!! But you won't even care anyway, would you? Sheesh... Anyway, go ahead and hurry back to your home. I have something better to do than listening to your nonsense" I sighed

"oh, so talking about your relationship with your beloved demon lord is more important than talking to your own mother?" she asked making me ALMOST shocked until I remembered that she must have spy on me and my friends before

"yeah, so what? You gonna put me in a timeout dear mother?" I mocked

"no... But I bet the councils back at ente isla will make sure you're in a big trouble if I told them the news about your relationship" she smirked

"why?" I asked

"well, you are the hero's best friend and you fought the demon lord for the villagers..." she said before thinking for other reasons

I rolled my eyes and scoffed " first of all, I'm only Emilia's best friend. If Emilia is the one who's dating the demon lord, then it is a problem for the council. But me? Why bother? I'm just an ordinary girl who happens to has powers thanks to the poison that her mother gave her. Second of all, I only fought Lucifer and I still fight that emo. And I fight that bird brain for my dad not for the villagers " I said making her frown in frustration

" the point is you will go back to ente isla with me since your father is no longer alive "she growled

" and who's fault is that anyway? I know you're the one who killed him! You are always like this!! Winning things with your dirty tricks to claim a prize that wasn't even meant to be yours!!! I'm sick of it!! Bad news for you here, you won't be getting your prize "I growled loudly making people look at us

" whoa what's going on here? "asked ms. Kisaki as she exits Mgronald's with Maou and Chiho trailing behind her

" oh, nothing it's just a mother and daughter conflict that's all. Right, honey? "the woman beside me said in her fake sweet voice as she wraps an arm around my neck

I can feel cold wind began forming around me creating a thin vortex. Maou saw this as he stepped in and tried to calm me down.

" ssh... Alice... No biting people in public "he said trying to cheer me up. It worked.

" what am I? a stray dog? " I sweat dropped

" and may I ask who are you? "my... Ugh... Mother asked

" I'm her boyfriend. My name is Sadao Maou "He said, bowing

" ms kisaki, I think I should help them out for a while. Is that okay? "maou asked

" it does sounds like a great idea "Chiho stated

" hmmm alright. Take your time Maou. If you need any help just come find me "ms Kisaki said before she and chiho return back to Mgronald's

" so...... "maou trailed as the atmosphere became tense again

" You really are dating satan alice?! I knew it! I knew that father of yours is nothing but trouble. Look at what you've become now!! "

" DAD'S FAULT?! OH SO I'M DATING SOMEONE YOU DON'T LIKE IS DAD'S FAULT?! OH YEAH, GREAT THEORY THERE EINSTEIN BUT IT'S SADLY INCORRECT IN SOO MANY WAYS "I yelledloudly

" alice... Calm down.. "Maou said as he rubbed my shoulder

" NO! IT'S MY LIFE! MY CHOICE!! I'M THE ONE WHO CHOSE MAOU NOT DAD, YOU, OR ANYBODY ELSE!! YOU ABANDONED ME FOR 14 YEARS! YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO

" In case you forgot, I was the one who GAVE YOU BIRTH "she retorted back

" I never wanted to have a mother like you. Do not ever come to me again if you still want to live" I growled using ente islan

I turned my heels before walking towards shinjuku station

" ALECIA!! "She called

I ignored her and kept on walking. Suddenly I felt someone grabbed my right arm. I pulled them back harshly, thinking it was that wicked woman again. But when I turned back, my eyes softened when I saw Maou

" oh... Sorry Maou "I said

" it's fine. I know you're not in a good mood "he said, smiling

" tsk! That pesky old lady! Who the heck she thinks she is?! " I growled

" well... She is your mother.... Despite her leaving you for a very long time "he said

" you don't get it Maou. What she has done to me, to my dad...... I can't forgive her for that. Not now, not ever" I sighed

" what exactly did she do anyway? You never told me the whole story "He said

" I'll tell you later okay? Right now you better go back to Mgronald's before you got in trouble again " I said, laughing a bit

He sighed and smiled " fine. I'll go to your house after my shift is done then. See you "he said before kissing my cheek and ran off

I rolled my eyes and went back home. I can't shake the feeling that something else is coming up but I just don't know what is it just yet. But I'm pretty sure that it's gonna happen pretty soon.

I was waiting for the bus to come when I felt a small rumble than slowly became bigger and bigger. People strated to panic and run to a safe place. I stood still knowing this is no ordinary earthquake. I felt something is coming soon and it's gonna appear nearby. I scanned the area before I went behind a building nearby.

Right after I got there, a small portal opened near where I was standing and a blue light came out of it before it closed. The light seemed to be looking for something. I don't know what came over me cause the next thing I know, I'm walking towards the light warily.

The light seemed to notice me and flew towards me. It circled me over and over as it began to morph into a small creature.

Wait... Isn't that...

"ALECIA!!"

(a/n heya guys. Sorry for not updating for so long. I'm at my senior year at my school (I'm still in high school) and there's a whole bunch of exams to do. Man, school sucks. Anyway, I've made the art I promised at the last chapter but unfortunately.... My younger cousin accidentally delete it. And I've never been so pissed with kids in my entire life.
