"my mother..... Kasdeya" I sighed

There was silence for a moment before maou shrieked

" WHAT!??"

"yeah...." I sighed again

" are you saying that Kasdeya, the powerful demon that specializes on poison.... IS YOUR MOTHER!?" He whisper-yelled

" where do you think I got my dragon wings from?" I asked in ente islan so no one could understand what we're saying (a/n I'm too lazy to make it the ente islan version so let's just pretend they're talking in ente islan language)

" this is huge! I mean.. Her power is almost equal to alciel and aldramech combined together!" Maou panicked

" wait, so doesn't that makes you half demon?" Maou asked

" I guess so" I shrugged

"I never know if the magic that flows in me has the same magic she has though. I never really knew her that well. I mean, I know she's my mom but she's rarely at home. Always busy with her stupid demonic business.... No offense" I said

" that's kind of a lot to take in.. Does anyone else know about this?" Maou asked

"beside Emi and Karuchi... And you, then no" I said

" have you met my mom before?" I asked

" hmm... Well there is that one time I met her when I visit the southern part of Ente Isla. If I remembered correctly, her eyes were dark purple and she always try to make me drink one of her beverages that I'm sure was poisoned "Maou chuckled a bit

" yep. Sounds about right. If you drank those drinks you and I won't be together at all now "I chuckled deeply and sighed

" why? "Maou blinked

" those beverages she offered you was poisoned. Well not exactly poison... More like... Love poison. You'll fall in love with her instantly if you drink them. I know cause I saw her made one for a village's chief so she could have their wealth" I said remembering back to when 10 years old me accidentally got inside my mom's secret room and saw her work her magic into a carrot juice. She's so confident that no one will ever find her secret room that she plainly just say her plans aloud. That's when I realize that she's just using my father somehow.

"so does she only makes love poisons?" Maou asked

"no. She also makes deadly poison, beauty poison, age poison.... Well actually she makes a lot of them and most of them are for her personal reasons. Like to stay young forever, being beautiful, seducing men..." I trailed, remembering the painful memories

" I was never born with powers "I said after a moment of silence

" what "Maou blinked

" she tried one of her poison to me when I was little. It was supposed to froze my whole body for eternity but somehow... I never did freeze. I just feel cold from inside my body and got a fever for a few days. I was only an innocent three years old that time so I never thought she put a poison in my drink "I sighed

" I discovered my powers two days after I got the fever. I was playing at my backyard when a sudden lightning surprised me. I gripped my doll so hard that time. The next thing I knew id that it was frozen solid. It never melt until I discovered how to remove the ice. My dad even already tried using an eternal fire to melt it but it won't budge "I chuckled, remembering the frustated face my dad has when the eternal fire didn't do a thing to the doll

" the second time I discovered it was when a bully in my village rips my favorite book in half and laugh so hard when I stare at the torned book. I got really upset and from what I heard from my dad is that my ice turned icy blue before I froze their entire body "I said

" what age were you when that happened? "Maou asked

" five in a half "I grinned

"...... What "maou blinked in surprise

" what? "I asked, confused

" nothing it's just... You weren't even ten years old but you were capable of freezing someone "maou chuckled

" do I have to be ten? "I asked while tilting my head a bit

" no, not really. It's just common for people to do something that big at ten years old or even older than that "Maou said

" how old are you anyway at ente isla? "I asked

" 300 years old "maou laughs nervously

" wow you're a grandpa "I laughed making him pout

" Am not "maou huffed like a child and crossed his arms

" aww you're just too embarrassed to admit it "I teased

" whatever "maou pouts again making me laugh even harder and making people look at me weirdly. I don't care though. I feel like a celebrity with people looking at me like this lol

" what about you? "maou asked

" my age? I think it's around 18 or maybe 19. My birthday is a month away so let's just say 19 years old "I grinned

Maou smiled at me before his face turns into a frown.

" hey what's wrong? "I asked

" nothing "maou lied

" you're a very bad liar for a demon king "I teased

" sheesh... You got me. It's just... Sad, you know? Me living for a very long time but you live in a much shorter time since you're a human "Maou sighed

" is that all? "I asked before I laugh again. This time Maou is giving me a confused look too

" what? "maou asked

" Maou, my mom is a demon remember? I have her blood too. My life is way longer than normal humans "I laughed

" oh, right. What a relief "maou sighed deeply and grinned at me

" you know... to be honest, I always got kind of jealous about everybody else having their parents to guide them. Me? My parents died when I was still little. I have no memory about them. All I remember is that they died and they're not even king and queen of demons. They're actually are low-classed goblins. My whole generation got slaughtered in some sort of conflict between demons. I also remember I was left to die following the carnage. But when I was at the verge of death, a mysterious angel took me in. I never knew her name. All I remember about her is that she heals me completely, tell me stories and share me her knowledge about humans even though I didn't want to hear it but since I could barely move I listen to them anyway, her sparkling white wings blocks away sunlight from me everytime she sat by me. When I was almost healed completely, she left no trace at all, except a note for me and a purple, crescent shaped crystal. She told me to plant it if I wanted to know more about the world which I did "Maou rambled

I blinked and try to process everything he just said. Ugh. My head is spinning. I can't think too hard or else my head will explode. This is exactly why school stuffs is a huge no from me.

" that... Is... A lot to take in... Wait what did that crustal turn into? You know... The one that you plant" I asked

"well it just turn out to be a regular plant. I haven't got the chance to examine it more" Maou shrugged

"so how did you become the demon king after that? I'm not trying to be rude or anything but you were left with practically nothing that time" I said

Just then, the train arrives at our destination, shinjuku station.

"that's a story for another time. Let's go" Maou said before he drags me off the train

"alright, but you better tell me. I'm getting curious" I said

He laughs a bit and smiled  "sure thing miss nosy pants" he mocked

"and don't you dare trash around at the shop later! I will kill you if you do so.. Got that?!" I threatened while squeezing his hand tightly as I put on my murderous face

"y-yes ma'am" he gulped before we both laugh and walk out of the station.

Little did I know, my mom's present here isn't gonna end well.

(a/n yeah this chapter took a long time and is short. I'm not feeling well and school have given me a lot of work to do and thankfully, they're all done now. The next chapter will be longer. I promise.
