I plopped myself on my bed and yawned.  Today is my day off. I have no plans at all. This is boring...

I jumped in surprise when my phone rings, telling me there's a phone call. I took it and saw it was Izzy. What's this kid up to now?

"hey alice! Are you free today? "she asked as soon as I picked up

" yeah. Why? "I asked

" well the amusement park at Hushimae just re-opened. Let's go check it out! "She said

" Izzy, you know I don't do heat"I said looking at the sky from my window

"it won't be that hot there. Plus emi,karuchi, chiho, and suzuno is coming too you know"she said

"I don't know.... "

" I'll buy you ice creams "

" so where will we meet up? "I asked, walking to my closet

" hehe... Let's meet up at the amusement park. See you later! "izzy said hanging up

I put my phone on my desk and picked some clothes. I ended up wearing a white t-shirt and a black skinny jeans. I took my bag and put my phone and a t-shirt, underwear, and a pair of jeans in it before I head downstairs. My dad is out of town for a week for work so I'm home alone all week (yay..... Note the scarcasm). I put on my hat and went outside.

"hey, where are you going to? Let me guess the amusement park at Hushimae? "Riyuka asked as soon as I stepped out

" how do you know? "I asked

" um... Duh... Literally everybody is going there. Except for me though, My right arm is twisted when I fell from my bed yesterday" she grins

" then why are you out here? "I asked sweat dropping

" cause I'm bored doing nothing inside! Seriously I can't stand living with just  one arm! "she groans making me laugh a bit

" well I hope don't get better soon. I like to see you being tortured by boredom like this "I said, snickering

" heyyyy what kind of friend are youuuuuuu?? "she pouts

" a fabulous friend "I said and stuck out my tounge at her before walking away towards the amusement park

" Whatever "she scoffs before waving goodbye with her left hand

Ugh it's so hot out here.... And where in the world is izzy?? I can't find her anywhere!

I sighed and slumped myself to a nearby bench. I took out my phone and text izzy, asking where the heck she is right now. Getting no reply, I dialed her number but got no answer as well. I groaned and put my phone back into my bag.

"alice? You're here too? "asked a voice in front of me

" maou? What are you doing here? "I asked back

" well my manager sent me here to help with the Mgronald's branch here"maou said pointing to a Mgronald's nearby

"have you seen Izzy anywhere? She's the one who invited me but I can't find her anywhere. I tried texting and calling her on my phone but she's not answering"I said

"yeah I just saw her near the haunted house when I'm on my way here from a delivery"he said

" WHAT SHE'S GOING THERE WITHOUT ME?! I'M GONNA KILL HER FOR THIS" I shouted making maou jumped in surprise

"Well uh.. The haunted house is that way" maou said pointing

"thanks!! See ya! "I said before running

" You look good by the way "maou said suddenly making me stop and blush

" w-what?? "I asked looking at him who's covering his mouth with his face as red as his uniform

" y-you look.... Uh... Great today... Uhm.... Gotta go bye! "he said turning his back

" wait, maou!! "I called out making him turn his head back, his face is still red

" thanks "I blushed lightly

" y-yeah "he stutters with his face even more red. Redder than his uniform.

I smiled at him before running towards the haunted house. There, I saw Izzy and Karuchi about to enter it.

" IZZY!!! DON'T YOU DARE TAKE ANOTHER STEP!! "I shouted making her and karuchi jumped in surprise

" h-hi alice! Umm we were just waiting for you "she grinned nervously

" yeah right "I said rolling my eyes before buying a ticket for myself

" I was about to wait for you but ms. Hasty here can't wait to meet the ghosts"karuchi said

"ehehe... "Izzy grins

" whatever. Let's just get inside"I said stepping inside the entrance. It's quite cold and damp inside so I got some powers for my magic here. Sweet!

Also the workers here really put a lot of effort building this place. It really got the image of a hounted house. The lights were dim, the windows were red colored, some of them are even covered with woods. The wall and the wooden floor is damp and it's cold in here. The sound of people from outside the building doesn't even get inside as if the building is soundproof. There's also some holes in the wall and some creepy pictures are hanging on it. We once encountered a ghost that appeared under a light that's seems broken. It keeps on switching on and off. But after the 'ghost' appeared, the light there died. That part makes izzy and karuchi trembling and walking behind me while holding my hands tightly.

Suddenly, a zombie doll appeared behind us making izzy screamed and hug me tightly.

"Izzy... Too... Tight...... "I gasped

" z-z-zombie!! "she stutters

" it's just a doll "karuchi said poking the zombie's head

" oh.. Hehe I knew that" Izzy snickers letting me go

"finally!! "I huffed

" oh please I didn't hug you THAT tight "Izzy said rolling her eyes as we started walking again

" kiddies... Let's go meet the doctor.... " said a woman dressed as a nurse ghost in a creepy voice, scaring the life out of karuchi

" I DON'T WANNA GO TO THE DOCTOR!! "she shouted hiding behind me while grasping my shoulders

" IT'S JUST AN ACT GOD DAMMIT"I groaned

"oh... I-I know that "Karuchi grins making me roll my eyes

" let's just go "I said pulling karuchi and Izzy who's trying to get a selfie with the nurse ghost

As we got deeper into the house, more and more ghosts appeared. We almost got to the exit when we saw a girl crying in a corner.

" hey what's that little girl doing over there? "izzy asked

" Maybe she's lost? "I asked

" let's ask her "karuchi said approaching the crying girl. We couldn't see her face since it's too dark in here and she's facing the wall

" hey there... What are you doing here? "karuchi asked with her soft voice. She has a soft spot for little kids. That's why she's like a mom for me and Izzy

" she's gone... "the girl sniff out

" who's gone? "I asked

" my momma..... "she said again weakly

" there, there it's okay... Do you think you know where she might be? "Izzy asked, kneeling down behind her

" she's gone... She's gone... My momma... "the girl said again. She sounded kind of weird though. I'm getting suspicious. And it seems like my wolf instinct agrees with me.

" o.. Kay? Do you want to come with us? We could help you find her " karuchi asked also kneeling down

" uhm.. Guys I don't think we should-" before I could finished, Izzy shushed me

"my momma.. My m-m-mom-mma.... Sh-she-she she's gon-e she's gone-gone... My-my my momma... "the girl said with a weird tone

"guys... "I said trying to convince them to leave the girl alone

Suddenly the girl turned her face to us.... DID SHE JUST TURNED 180 DEGREES?!

" IS SHE CRYING BLOOD?! "Izzy shrieked as she saw that her face is covered by blood streaks

" it's... It's momma "she said in a weird and creepy tone

We look up and saw... A VERY CREEPY SHADOW

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

We all screamed and ran towards the exit. We gasped for air and sat down. I grasped my chest. My heart keeps on beating so hard!! That doll is freaky!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DON'T LIKE HUMAN DOLL!! ESPECIALLY A GIRL HUMAN DOLL!! I SWEAR TO GOD THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL YOU AT NIGHT!

"T-that was..... "I gasped

"AWESOME!! LET'S DO IT AGAIN!!" Izzy shouted making me and karuchi glared at her

"ARE YOU PLANNING TO MAKE ME DIE FROM A HEART ATTACK?! "I shouted at her

" IT WOULD BE A WHILE TO MAKE ME TRUST CHILDREN AGAIN AND YOU WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! "Karuchi shouted as well

" ehe... J-just kidding... Come on! Let's check out the reptile exhibit "izzy said pulling me and karuchi's hand

" wait.. Didn't you say Emi, Chiho, and Suzuno are coming too? "I asked

" they are! But they got inside the haunted house before we do "Izzy explained

" you also said you would treat me ice cream if I came here so.... "I smirked

"fineee....we'll pass Mgronald's on the way so I'll buy you one there" Izzy said rolling her eyes

"aww you buy one for her and none for me? "Karuchi pouts and put on her puppy face

" arrrghhh fine I'll buy BOTH of you ice cream! Happy? "Izzy groaned

" very "I grinned before fist bumping Karuchi who also grins

" wow what a line "Izzy said seeing the long line in front of Mgronald's

" there! Take that line! There's less people there! "karuchi said pointing to a line

We ran towards the line and stood behind a muscular man and his girlfriend.

" what ice cream do you guys want? "izzy asked

" vanilla "I said, shrugging

" you too, karuchi? "Izzy asked getting her wallet as we got closer to the cashier

" mmh.... Nope... I think I'll go with chocolate "Karuchi said after thinking hard

" welcome to Mgronald's! May I take your ord- well if it isn't Alice and Izzy! "a very familiar voice said

I looked who the cashier was and saw that it was maou. Why do I always bump into this dude?

" hey, again, maou. Oh and this is Karuchi, my friend"I said casually pointing at Karuchi who waved at him

" nice to meet you. My name is Sadao Maou. Now what may your order be? "he asked

" two chocolate Ice cream and one vanilla ice cream, please" Izzy said

"two? "I questioned

" yeah! One for me and one for karuchi! I love chocolate ice cream too ya know! "Izzy said while paying the ice creams

" alright then, Two chocolate ice cream and one vanilla ice cream! Make the vanilla ice cream extra! "Maou said to his co-workers

" GOT IT "shouts his co-worker from the kitchen

" wait, what? Extra? We didn't order it to be extra?! "I complained

" don't worry the extra is on me. I know you need a lot of cold stuffs in this heat "Maou smiled

The ice cream came and maou gave it to us

" enjoy the extra ice cream! "maou said before winking making me blush

" he's totally hitting on you "Izzy smirked

" awww is my little Alice growing up amd got herself a dateeee? "karuchi mocked as she licks her ice cream

" sh-shut up! "I said eating my ice cream

" aww she's blushing!! "karuchi smirks

" and she didn't deny us! "izzy smirks as well

" I hate you guys "I groaned

-time skip-

" hey look an anaconda! "Karuchi said pointing to a yellow anaconda in a glass cage

" and check out that iguana! So cute! "I squealed

" sure but it's nothing compared to this salamander! "Izzy said admiring a black and pink salamander

" Let's check out the big reptiles!" I said pointing towards the door that connects the room we were in to the place with big reptiles. Thanks to the cold temperature at the haunted house and the reptile exhibit, I managed to get quite a lot of magic. And of course... Thanks to the extra ice cream from Maou.... I got plenty of magic from it too...

"look! Alligators! Their eyes are scary... "Karuchi said looking at the alligators' cage

" yeah and there's a whole bunch of them "Izzy said before we all walk around seeing every reptiles

"hey isn't that a komodo dragon??? "I gasped as we walk pass a cage filled with komodo dragons

" I hear their saliva are deadly "a voice said

" hey suzuno! Hey emi! Hey chiho! "I said as soon as I saw who it is

" where have you been? "emi asked

" oh we went to the haunted house, then to Mgronald's, then here" Izzy explained

"did you guys saw that creepy doll kid too? "emi asked

" yeah.. I will never look at lost kids the same again" I said shivering

"yeah me too "emi shivers

"ah.......is the great hero scared to a doll?" I smirked

"n-no! It's just creepy that's all! "emi scoffs

" hey chiho who's monkey is that? "Izzy asked

" huh? Monkey? "I asked

I saw chiho has a monkey on her shoulder. 'kay how come I just noticed that?

" I don't know. We found it nearby. I think it's lost" Chiho explained

The word 'lost' kind of reminds me of the creepy doll from before.... *shivers*

"let's take it outside and search for its owner "I suggested

" good idea "Suzuno agrees

We all head back to the exit and began our search for the monkey's owner.

" do you think we should take it to the lost children center? "Emi asked

" SADAOOOOOO" a man called out before I could say anything

The monkey jumped off from Chiho and ran towards the man.

"ah.. Sadao! You know it's not safe for you to go on your own like that buddy "the man said hugging the monkey

" oh, you found him. Great! "maou said behind him. Seriously? Him again? This dude is everywhere

" yeah " the man said nodding to him

" mr maou! "chiho greeted

" oh, chi "maou smiled at her

".... And alice..." he mumbled with a low voice but I could still hear him, again thanks to my mixed blood

"thanks miss. You're lifesaving "the man said thanking chiho

" so this little guy's name is sadao, huh? "chiho asked making maou tensed up. Ah... Right his last name is Sadao.... Pfft...

" yup! "the man said

" were you lost sadao? I tell you what, you sure are one lucky monkey sadao "I said emphasizing the word 'sadao'

I smirked when I saw Maou's face become more bitter.

" sadao has a real weakness for the ladies. He's a full blown problem child" the man said making maou growl silently

"yeah, it's clearly your sadao is a bigens "emi said

" bigens? "chiho asked, confused

" nevermind "emi said

"THAT'S ENOUGH!! JUST LET IT GO ALREADY" Maou shouted in frustation making me and emi smirk while chiho laughs nervously

-time skip-

"WOOHOOOO" I shouted as I go down the water slide

"YEAH!!!! "Karuchi shouted behind me

" THIS IS COOOLLLLLL..... DDDDDD THE WATER IS COLD HERE WHAT THE HECK "Izzy complained

Oops I must've created a cold temperature since my magic is a lot right now.

" SORRY 'BOUT THAT "I shouted before I splashed into the pool, followed by Karuchi and Izzy

I got my hair wet and play with the water some more before I got into the changing room and change into the clothes I brought from home earlier. I was drying my hair when I heard screaming from outside. Getting a bad feeling, I rushed outside and saw people are running away from the swimming pool and into Mgronald's with panic.

"HELP!!! "I heard Izzy shouted. She and Karuchi was cornered by a couple of crocodiles. Karuchi is using her magic to make a barrier and calm them down but she doesn't seem to have enough magic.

I rushed towards them. I think Maou saw me since he began shouting my name, telling me to come to Mgronald's. Sorry Maou but my friends are more important right now.

I stopped in front of Izzy and Karuchi. The crocodiles roared at me, showing their teeth.

"step down" I growled at them, my eyes shining blue. I was using my wolf voice just now to make them listen to me, guess it doesn't work since one of them then came towards me. I used my magic to shut its mouth with ice and the other ones too.

"come on! It won't last long! "I said grabbing Izzy and Karuchi's hand before dragging them towards Mgronald's

" OW!! "Karuchi shouted

" Karuchi what's wrong? "I asked

" one of the crocodiles hit my leg with its tail making me fall. My leg hurts now, I can't walk. Plus my energy is drained from making that barrier from before" Karuchi said wincing from the pain while holding her leg.

"uh oh.. Seems like the crocodiles from before called for help... "izzy said pointing to the 5 crocodiles who slowly crept towards us.

Shoot! We're too far from Mgronald's go call for help since I took the route that avoids the water areas.

"get behind me, quick!!!" I ordered Karuchi and Izzy who quickly hides behind me

" a-alice... Isn't that maou? "Karuchi asked pointing towards Maou who's using his magic to.... Calm the crocodiles? But why?

" he's from ente isla too? "She asked again

" yeah... The demon lord to be precise. Sorry for not telling you this before "I said before concentrating back to the crocodiles that's getting closer

" we'll talk about  this later "Karuchi said, but there seems no disappointment sounded from her voice. That relieves me a little.

I made an ice barrier when one of the crocodiles jumped at me.

" Izzy go find help! But be careful!! "I said

" got it! "Izzy nodded before running away

" argh... "I said as I feel my head got dizzy

" alice? "karuchi asked with a worried tone

" I-I'm okay. A little dizzy that's all " I fake smiled at her

" no, you're not okay! Your energy is getting absorbed cause you're using them to make more magic! "Karuchi scolds

"..... You didn't guessed wrong" I sighed

"ALICE!! "I heard Izzy shouted. Wow that was fast... And just in time. My barrier broke as I ran out of magic... And energy. I felt my eyes getting heavy before I began to fall. But someone caught me and hold my back to restrain my fall. Who is it?

I then heard someone mumbling something with an ente isla language. Is it? No.. It can't  be....

I opened my eyes a bit to see who it is. I saw the Mgronald's employee that I always bumped into. His eyes are glowing red as he use his magic, which I guessed to calm the crocodiles down.

"m-maou? "I asked before everything goes black
