I swung my sword slashing yet another demon. My wolf ear perked up as I hear wings flapping behind me. I quickly flew up with my dragon wings as soon as I hear him chuckle .

"nice to meet you again Alice"he grinned while flipping his purple hair

"lucifer" I growled making him smirk

"you want to kill me don't you? Why was that? oh right! I almost killed your father, didn't I? "He said laughing at the end making my brain to heat up. HOW DARE HE!!

I launched myself to the demon general and swayed my sword only for him to dodge it .

"you're getting slow y'know . Did you gained weight?" he grinned

"YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING DEMON!!" I growled . My eyes shined crystal blue as cold air surround me

"YOU'RE GONNA REGRET WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO MY FATHER!!"I roared creating ice beams that attacks him like lasers non stop

"SHOOT!!" lucifer yelled as one of it hit his wing and froze it making him fall. His eyes widened as I launched to him with my sword. He began to run away and tries to get control of his power to attack me. But I give him no time to concertrate enough to do so.

"ARGH! I'LL BE BACK ALECIA JUST YOU WAIT!! I'LL BE READY THE NEXT TIME WE MEET"He growled before teleporting himself somewhere

"COWARD!! RUN AWAY FROM A BATTLE LIKE THAT!! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY SOMEDAY LUCIFER!"I shouted to the now empty field.

i sighed deeply returning my sword.

"what was all that screaming about?"asked a voice behind me. I immediately bring out my sword and face it to the person behind me

"emi! I told you before a million times! don't sneak up on me like that! I swear I could kill you accidentally one of this days" I sighed lowering my sword

"ehe sorry alice. Let me guess, you just met lucifer didn't you?" she asked

"yeah. He ran away though. That loser" I scoffed

Emi then moved her mouth as if she was saying something but I couldn't hear her.

"what??"I asked with my ears perked up. Emi starts to 'talk' again but again, no sound was heard. soon enough, I was surrounded with darkness

"wh-what's going on here?? Emi? you there?" I shouted. No response.

"he has arrived"said an unknown sound

"who's there?! show yourself!!" I said growling

"...... prepare yourself......he's not ......alone......"

"who is this 'he'?? why should I prepare myself?? hello??"

i felt my head got dizzy and heavy. After a short moment, I blacked out.

"AHHHH" I screamed jumping out of bed

"sheesh.... what a weird dream"I sighed. Shaking my head, I went to get a shower and change my clothes. I picked up my phone from my nightstand and saw my friend Izzy sent me a text message.

Hey! You awake yet? Remember to bring my book you borrowed today to my cafe okay??

Right. Izzy's book! I almost forgot about it! What book was it again? Oh right it was that tiger novel.

I went to my bookshelf and picked up Izzy's book and put it in my bag along with my wallet. I put on my pendant and went downstairs. I saw my father watching news on tv. I greeted him and kissed his cheek.

"what news are on today? "I asked as I poured some milk into a glass.

" not much actually. Economics and stuff like that"he shrugged

"so did anything happened lately during your patrol? "I asked sipping the cold milk.

" well actually a friend of mine found two foreigners wearing costume like capes a couple of weeks ago. He said they acted weird and talked weird languages too. We gave them some katsudon since they're foreigner. But one of them refuse to eat while the other one eat like he never ate his entire life" he explained

"interesting. Did you meet them? "I asked grabbing a chocolate chip cookie from the kitchen counter

" hmm.. No. I was only told the story. Do you think maybe they're from ente isla? "he asked out of the blue making me almost choke

" don't be silly. Why would someone from ente isla come here to earth? We're the only one who moved here"I said drinking my milk

"yeah, you're right. Where are you going anyway? "he asked raising his eyebrow

" I'm going to Izzy's cafe. It's sunday remember? I have to work"I said

"ah right. Be careful okay? If anything goes wrong or if you need anything just call me"he said

"will do. You go have some rest dad. You look like you could pass out any second"I said furrowing my eyebrows

"hehe alright I'll go to bed. Lock the door okay? Love you"he said turning off the tv

"kay. Love you too! Bye dad! "I said putting on my shoes

" bye" he waved as I closed the door and locked it.

"morning alice" greet my neighbor, Riyuka

"ah! Morning Riyuka! Where are you heading? "I asked seeing her all dressed up nicely

" ehe! I'm going on a date with my crush!" she giggles

"really? Have fun then! "I smiled at her. Riyuka and me has been great friends ever since I moved here from ente isla

" what about you Alice? When will you get yourself a date? "she smirks

" oh please. You know I have no interest on that. I'd rather date a fictional character than a real person" I sighed

"yeah yeah whatever. Oh! That's him! See you later Alice! Byee" she said waving her hand before running towards her crush

I rolled my eyes before walking towards the train station. Come to think of it I am a little hungry since I only ate a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast. I remembered there's a fastfood restaurant called Mgronalds nearby. Perhaps I could buy a chicken burger and a soda there and eat it on my way to Izzy's cafe.

I soon spotted the restaurant and entered the building to be greeted with a black haired guy with caramel eyes. There's something odd about his eyes but I couldn't lay my finger on it.

"welcome to Mgronalds! How may I help you? "he asked

"Hi. Umm I think I'll have a chicken burger and a medium sized soda please" I said taking out my wallet

"of course. For here or to go? "he asked again

" to go please "I said giving him some money

" alright then, here's your change. You may wait over there"he said

"right. Thank you" I said putting back my wallet in my bag. I look around the place. Since it's still morning, not much people are here.

"here's your soda miss. And your burger will be ready in 3 minutes" the guy from before said giving me my soda

"oh okay. Thanks " I said sipping my soda

" say are you new here? I never saw you around "I asked

"oh, me? Well yes, I just moved here a couple weeks ago" he smiled

A couple weeks ago?

"do you happen to be a foreigner? "I asked again

" right! Me and my roomate are foreigners from..... Somewhere far. Why? "he asked

" uh.. Nothing. Just asking "I said

Could he be.... The weird foreigner dad was talking about?

"here's your burger miss. Enjoy"he said giving me my burger

"oh and be careful. It's still-"

"Ah!! It's hot!! !! "I hissed putting the burger to the counter

" I am very sorry about that miss. Shall I give you some ice? "he asked

" ah, no I'll be okay" I said, secretly using my magic to cool down my hands. I hope he doesn't notice it though

"here I'll give you some tissues so you could hold it" he said giving me some tissues

"thank you so much"I said picking up the burger. I looked at the clock on the wall and noticed I'm almost late for work

"ah!! Shoot! I'm almost late!! I seriously need an alarm clock!! "I said, mumbling the last part

" I gotta go. Thanks again! "I said to him before running out of the restaurant

Izzy's cafe isn't really far from here but I usually got held up by the crowd. I threw away the now empty glass of coke and entered Izzy's cafe, panting hard.

" there you are! Where have you been? "izzy scolded me as I arrived

" s-sorry. I stopped by at Mgronalds on the way to buy a burger as breakfast "I said making her sigh

" fine. Go ahead and rest upstairs. I gotta go meet a friend of mine for a sec" she said

I nodded and walk upstairs to her office. Me and Izzy have been bestfriends for a short time but it feels like we knew each other since the day we were born. I work at her cafe as a singer. She always lets me rest in her office which is like a small house if you ask me. There's a bathroom, a huge sofa which you can use as a bed, an led tv, and even a fridge full of snacks.

I plopped myself onto her sofa and start eating my burger. Man these tissues really help! I couldn't feel the heat at all!

As I took another bite, a paper fell from the tissues. I picked it up and saw there's a writing there. Is it from that Mgronalds employee?
