I turned off the mic as I finished singing. Izzy's cafe is renovated and I'm back to work. I just finished my shift just now. Man singing all day sure does takes a lot of you.

I touch my stomach when it growls. Right, I haven't eaten yet. The problem is Izzy's cafe doesn't serve any food that will fill your stomach to the fullest. But I don't want to go to Mgronald's. Not when maou is there at least. After our last fight, we haven't seen each other or talk to each other again. Not that I want to.

I sighed and went outside. Why does Izzy has to be sick today? She always knows where to get food easily.

My eyes caught a long line of people in front of a building. SFC is written in front of it. A new fast food restaurant, eh? And I do have a sudden craving of cheese burger... But seeing that long line at this heat is enough to make my feet to have a mind of its own and walk its way to.... Mgronald's?!

ANYTHING BUT THAT!! FEET! STOP!!

I tried to stop myself from walking there but I guess my hungry stomach has other ideas.

"welcome to Mgronald's! "maou and chiho exclaimed as I walk in

" look I'm sorry about what I did, okay? "maou said scratching his head while I ordered a medium sized cheese burger to chiho

" a simple 'i'm sorry' won't change the fact that you were acting weird and pushed me out "I scoffed

" excuse me.... Miss alice, is it? Are you and mr maou dating? "chiho asked

" Oh, okay then. Here's your cheese burger and your soda ms. Alice. Enjoy! "chiho smiled with a relieved face

" thanks "I said paying for it and went to an empty seat nearby

Then, the door opened and a man wearing a suit and black glasses came in.

" excuse me for coming at such a busy time. Is the branch manager currently in? "he asked

" I apologize. Our branch manager, Ms. Kisaki, is not here today"maou replied

"I'm the person in charge for the time being, my name is Maou. If it's something that I can be told in her stead, then please do not hesitate to enquire" Maou said. Huh, I guess demons can actually be polite and formal

"you are maou sadao? I've heard about you. In opposition to your name, you seem like a diligent, excellent fella who is filled with such human kindness" the short guy said

His words sounds weird to me though. 'filled with such human kindness?' and where did he heard about maou? Is he famous?

Wait... Am I eavesdropping? Meh I don't have anything better to do while eating anyway

It seems maou noticed it as well and gave him a slight of a puzzled look.

"excuse me, but might it be that we've met somewhere before? "maou asked

Okay that's definitely weird to say. This dude looks suspicious. And what's with the black glasses? Is he blind or something? I know it's hot outside but it's still weird, as if he's hiding something but I just can't lay my finger on it.

" I apologize for my belated introduction. This is who I am " the short guy said giving maou a card. Maou look at it for a short while before his eyes widened

" so I'm currently speaking with sentucky fried chicken's store manager.... "maou said which almost made me spit out my soda

Now, maou looks like kind of pissed. Which is kind of hilarious to look at.

".... Sexy princess " he whispered seducingly

Chiho's face change as if she just saw a ghost right on her face. It's obvious that she's annoyed which makes me furious. He can't just call her that out of the blue! And chiho is still a teen!! What a perv!

" hey! You!! "I exclaimed, getting up and getting everyone's attention... Which is only maou, chiho, and the pervert manager

" I don't care if you're a manager of a freaking fried chicken restaurant but you have no right to call her-"

"ah!! I'm surrounded by beautiful girls!!"mitsuki exclaimed cutting me while swirling around like a girl

" are you gonna order some love here cause I can give you some for free, gorgeous "he flirts while grabbing my hand which I pull back harshly

" Oh, I am truly sorry. Come on then I'll take you out to have some fun! "mitsuki said pulling my hand

" WHAT "I shouted as I tried to hold my ice powers to come out and freeze the life out of him.

Suddenly, a hand pull me back and I was blocked by a figure. It's... Maou?? He's protecting me? But... But why? I'm his enemy...

" I'm afraid she's not going anywhere with you "he growled

" oh? And why is that? Isn't she just a customer here? "mitsuki asked, smirking which makes me wants to slap his face..... With my sword

"it's.... It's because... She's umm.... "maou hesitated while looking at me

" well? "mitsuki asked

" s-she's my girlfriend!! "maou exclaimed, blushing hard. I widened my eyes as I blushed as well

" ah, well I'm very sorry then. I shall be going. Thank you again for your kind services" mitsuki said, bowing before exiting the building

"errr... Hehe.... S-sorry... I umm.... "maou said hesitantly while scratching his head

" yeah umm... Thanks.... Um, I'm going home now, bye and thanks! "I said, grabbing my bag before running outside. Dangit, that's embarrassing

It's night now, but I can't seem to fall asleep. The picture of maou, claiming me to be his 'girlfriend' has been dancing in my head since he said that.

I sighed and took my phone as it rings.

"hello? "I said, picking up the call without seeing the contact name

" h-hey! I didn't know you're actually gonna pick up" the voice said..... IT'S MAOU?!

"Maou?? What's up? "I asked, trying to keep calm

" err... You heard my conversation with mr. Sarue right? "maou asked

" you mean that chicken perv? Yeah I heard it. Why? "I asked gritting my teeth

" well for starters, he did say a lot of weird things as if he met you somewhere before "I said

I felt my face heats up as the image appeared in my head again

" I HEARD THAT "I heard lucifer shouts

I smiled as I tried not to laugh hearing them acting like that. Is it just me or is the demon king is better off staying here on earth like this?

Only time will tell I guess
