Since when were you obliged to have a valid reason to love somebody?

Ah, this is a pretty constant thing some anti's say when they bash SS. That Sakura's love is not genuine because she didn't have a reason.

I'm sorry, but...you don't need a reason to love anyone. At least in my perspective that's what I believe.

Plus, I will in fact admit she may have liked Sasuke for his looks in the beginning. But lets not forget when she announced she liked him she had no clue that he was popular and a lot of girls liked him.

And especially after his "death" in the Land of Waves arc, it definitely showed Sakura did in fact care for Sasuke. I personally believe she didn't love him at that time, I feel like that was when she began to like him for who he was then and not for his looks. Because who cries and reacts that way when someone likes someone for their looks?

And before anyone may say, "Well Sakura does," just keep in mind Sakura isn't that shallow nor that type of person to do something like that.

Eyes widened in shock, trying not to believe what is in front of you, is how I read her expression there.

And then she cries, like any other person would when someone you had grown to deeply care for is laying dead in front of you. (Though he wasn't dead, she believed he was at the moment and reacted)

I included that because it showed that you do not need a reason to love or care for someone. It that she grew to care for him, for more than just a fangirl or for his looks.

Love is a natural feeling, it comes, it doesn't need a reason to be felt.
