🌸Today. Tomorrow. Always.🌸
[fantasy AU, fluff]
There's nothing such as a complete soul. There are always two halves of one soul. Two halves which descend to any one of the six realms and are born as two different people. They maybe of different species, but they're destined to be together. Today. Tomorrow. Always.
Uchiha Sasuke was the second son of the king of Mages. Being the second son, he didn't like to be compared to his older brother. But that didn't stop him from having a good relationship with his family. He had less responsibilities and hence he could afford to go on vacations once in a while.
Today, he was in Netherlands with his friend.
"Sasuke!! Over here, you bastard!" So much for friends.
The man who just shouted for him was Uzumaki Naruto, a powerful mage in his own right with the most powerful familiar in the world, the Nine-tailed Fox.
Sasuke was a Royal Mage by birth, but his familiars weren't as powerful as the Fox, so the two Mages were equally matched.
The reason why Sasuke and Naruto were on this trip was to get along (as their parents put it) and to find their other halves.
While Sasuke had grown up seeing the love his parents and many other couples shared, he did not realise the significance of the bond, which explains his lack of excitement in this quest to find the other half of his soul.
Unlike Sasuke, Naruto was very much excited and wanted to know more than anything, if his soulmate could cook ramen. He also wanted to roam around the city all day and roam around the country all week/month.
For now, they were about to enter the Keukenhof, one of the largest gardens in Europe, situated in Netherlands.
"Sakura-chan!" Sasuke heard the soft yet loud call of a woman from behind him.
"Excuse me." Somebody tapped his shoulder. He turned back to see a girl with pearly eyes and dark hair like his mother. "have you seen a pink-haired woman around here?"
A pink-haired woman?
"No." He replied before looking for the blonde idiot from he stood.
He could distinctly hear the woman's footsteps as she quickly walked away from him. He sighed and looked around, but his ramen-loving friend had disappeared.
He started walking around the place finding the garden very impressive. Roses of different colours had been displayed in a seperate building.
He walked towards that building and eventually found himself in a long queue.
If it attracts so many people, then this better be worth it.
"Sasuke!" A voice, obviously, yelled for him and Sasuke found himself annoyed due to the fact that Naruto decided to squeeze himself into the queue in front of Sasuke.
"Want some?" He held out a paper bucket of fries with a side corner specially designed for mayonnaise.
Wordlessly, Sasuke picked up a fry and dipped it into the mayonnaise before shoving it into his mouth with a scowl on his face.
"Where were you?" He finally inquired after the fry in his mouth had been completely swallowed. By this time, they had almost reached the entrance of the building. The queue moved on fairly quickly.
"I went to the place where they arranged the flowers in mosaic style." Naruto cheekily grinned at him before turning and stretching himself to look at the flowers.
Suddenly, Sasuke realised that Naruto had quickly finished his French fries as food wasn't allowed in the building.
"Excuse me. Have you seen..." It was that woman with mother's hair. Sasuke turned towards her and she stopped speaking.
"It's you." She spoke with amusement.
"You haven't found your friend, haven't you?" Sasuke asked with a smirk, already guessing the answer to be a no.
"No." She replied, knowing that he knew the answer.
"How long are you going to wander around like this?" He asked with a sigh. He looked around and sighed once again when he realised that the loudmouth was nowhere to be seen.
Great.
"She wandered off as soon as I gave her the ticket." The woman sighed defeatedly.
"Sounds like my friend." Sasuke stated.
"So I'm your friend now?" Naruto magically reappeared and slung a hand across his neck. "Who's thi..."
Naruto stopped speaking and looked at the woman. He continued to stare at the woman and she started bushing and showed signs of discomfort.
"Idiot. She's getting uncomfor..."
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. My favourite ramen is miso ramen and I'm a Mage from Konoha. Can you cook ramen for me for the rest of my life?" Naruto immediately sputtered out, much to Sasuke's surprise.
The woman's pearl-like eyes were also widened and a blush covered her cheeks.
"What the hell Naruto. I'm not going to erase her memories just because you spouted everything."
"She's my soulmate and one of the Trackers." Naruto looked at Sasuke, disbelief etched on his face as he processed the fact that the great Uchiha Sasuke couldn't recognise her.
"Oh yeah! She's a Hyuga." Sasuke inspected her eyes, wondering why he didn't recognise it before.
"Hey you! What're you doing to my friend?" A feminine voice, as clear as water, spoke.
Sasuke was officially stunned when he saw the source of the voice. A pink-haired woman with jade eyes.
She might as well as be a flower.
"Who the..." Sasuke walked towards her and leant in towards her face. But he stopped right before their lips could touch.
Gazing into her emerald eyes, he smiled.
"Haruno Sakura, the Enchantress" Sasuke stated. "who enchanted me."
"Well then I hope we remain together. Today. Tomorrow. Always." Sakura pecked his nose before dragging him off to another building where there were different types of Orchids on display.

Guys, if any of you ever go to Netherlands, be sure to visit Keukenhof and I assure you that you'll never forget it.
Do you know why the title is 'Today. Tomorrow. Always.' It's because I want somebody to say those words to me (somebwho loves me despite my lazy habits). 😭😭
The romance in the story is very rushed due to the fact that they're not humans. They're Mages eith soulmates and according to me, love at first exists in such stories.
Hope you enjoyed the story. Love you. ❤❤
