🌸silent🌸
Whenever she breathed, she inhaled the variety of the scenery through her nose and the tastes of it lingered slightly on her tongue.
She breathed out the warmth and emotions of the world.
Her eyes heard the different pitches of agony and pain; of love and even of hatred.
And they saw the colors that plagued the saddest of people with colors of happiness and desolate colors could paint the happiest people melancholy.
Sakura noticed all of the small details in the world. The ones that usually get skimmed over and she appriciated them.
She loved them and she. Cherished them, but this was because her other senses were stronger.
Sight, smell, taste and touch.
But no hearing.
Sakura couldn't hear a sound, and she often tried different methods to help herself hear again but none of them worked.
Hearing aids did nothing, and medicine and surgery hadn't helped either.
She was out of options.
When she was younger, she could hear a little bit.
Overtime, it got worse and worse until it disappeared entirely.
Once this happened, she began speaking in whispers. Her best friend, ino, made fun of her sometimes but was a good person and helped her.
Soon, she was learning sign language, reading people's lips and feeling the vibrations around her to help with communicating and living.

She wanted to live, see the world as it was. He helped her.
The lone boy in her class who never spoke.
He would often answer questions by raising his hand and waiting patiently before coming to the board.
She realized one day that he was disabled as well and one day she saw him walking towards the same therapy center that she went to occasionally and he inspired her.
She wanted to meet him.
He looked as if he was a bit uncomfortable and had wore his hood low on his face.
She ran as quickly as she could, her school shoes nearly coming off as she jumped to reach him.
Once he realized who she was, the cold look on his face turned into an expressionless one as he raised his hood.
"S-a-k-u-r-a" she moved her hands slowly and whispered before pointing to herself and smiling.
It had been two minutes before he raised a hand slowly
"S-a-s-u-k-e"
Her eyes shined bright in the afternoon sun.
He was a bit taken aback but recovered quickly and pointed to himself, then to the door of the building.
She pouted slightly before pointing to him, then herself and pointing to the left.
He followed her finger and saw she was pointing at a cafe.
He shook his head
"Appointment...soon" he signed slowly.
She pouted even more before clasping her hands together
"Friends, you...and...me"
Again, this girl suprised him and he was about to reply before he heard a doctor call his name.
"Sasuke! It's time!!"
Sakura looked on hesitantly as she saw the woman waving.
She went back and forth from him to her before she walked off.
Sasuke reached for her before stopping, pulling a pen and ripping a random piece of paper out of his bag.
He quickly- and messily wrote something and turned to look at his doctor once more before he ran to catch her.
She had nearly made it 2 blocks away before he found her.
He grabbed her arm and startled her, but she calmed down quickly and waited for him to catch his breath.
He placed the piece of paper in her hand and looked at her with insistence.
She looked at it before tears leaked from her eyes and trailed down her cheeks.
He smiled slightly before running back towards the building and she knew that she would see him again, so cupped her hands around her mouth and she yelled with every ounce of strength she had
"Sasuke-kun!!!!!!!!!"
He didnt turn around but he waved. And in that exact moment, she held the peice of paper in her hand and smiled at it.
