Happy Valentines Day

(A bit late, but here's a Valentines Day themed one!)

-BEEP, BEEP, BEEP-

Sasuke sat up in bed, slapping his hand over his alarm clock. He ruffled his hair, stretching a little. He flicked the lamp on, peering next to him. However, the pinkette usually at his side in the morning wasn't there. Instead, on the nightstand, he could see a note in light pink paper, with his name written in glittery red pen. He reached over to the nightstand, gently picking up the note and unfolding it.

"Sasuke,

I know you said that you don't like Valentine's Day that much, but this is our first one where we're together. So, I wanted to do something special. So, I've devised a little scavenger hunt for you. Head over to where I asked you out, and you finally said yes.

(Hint hint! It's the Café. Ino's working today.)

Love,

Sakura"

Sasuke sighed a little, a small smile appearing on his face. Something told him this'd take a while.

After getting ready, he made his way to the cafe. It was walking distance from the apartment, so he didn't need to take the car. He walked into the cafe, the smell of coffee flooding his senses. Like the note said, Ino was working at the counter. The blonde spotted him, a grin appearing on her face. She picked up a coffee pot, pouring the coffee in it into a large cup. She added a little bit of almond milk, then put the lid on, along with a coffee cup sleeve with writing on it. She went over to the pick up area, looking around, as if she didn't see him.

"Order for Sasuke Uchiha?" Sasuke walked up to grab his coffee. Before handing it to him, Ino tapped the cup sleeve, smiling. "Your next clue is in the coffee sleeve." She handed him the cup, going back to work.

Sasuke remembered the day she asked him out vividly; she had asked him to meet there, and had showed up with 3 containers of tomatoes she'd been growing in her apartment. She'd asked before, but this time she was determined. He agreed to give it a go, and it had been the best decision he ever made.

He read the sleeve on the coffee cup, and sure enough, there was another message.

"I was so nervous you wouldn't say yes when I asked you; I'm really happy you did.

Your next clue is where we met up for our one month anniversary. I know you remember, because you put a picture of us from that day in your wallet.

(Naruto told me about it. I did not go through your wallet.)

Love,
Sakura."

Of course Sasuke remembered; it was the park, not too far from the cafe; they'd decided to go look at the ducks on a bench. It was that day that Sakura discovered that ducks liked her. Sasuke had to talk her out of adopting a duck, instead getting her a duck plushie. She insisted on giving the duck one of the ribbons she had holding her hair back. The duck seemed happy to accept it.

He walked over to the park, spotting the bench they had sat on. There was a duck sitting near it, a pink ribbon around its neck. Sasuke sighed a little, walking over to it. It didn't move, only tilting its head a little.

"Lemme guess," he muttered, raising an eyebrow, "Sakura kept coming back to feed you?"

The duck didn't answer, because it's a duck. It only got up and waddled back over to the pond nearby. Next to the duck was a little note, on a duck shaped Sticky note.

"Yeah, I really liked that duck. So I came back. I named him Chicken to confuse people.

There's only one more place you have to go; Back to the apartment. It was where we had our first kiss.

Don't worry, it'll be worth it.

Love,
Sakura."

Sasuke wasted no time in getting home. He jogged back to the apartment complex, getting to the apartment. When he opened the door, Sakura was standing near the entrance. She was holding Sasuke's favorite corny movie, "Killer Clowns from Outer Space", along with some microwaveable popcorn. She smiled at him when she saw him walk in, tilting her head a bit. "That didn't take you long; it's only 12:00!"

"Well," he said, grinning a little, "You DID make the places kinda obvious." He walks over to her, kissing her forehead. "I don't mind, though; more time to spend with you."

Sakura giggled a little, smiling up at him. "Go put your PJ's back on; I'll make the popcorn, and we can pop this sucker in the DVD player."

Sasuke nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

Maybe Valentine's Day wasn't so stupid after all.
