🌸 Happy Birthday 🌸

[Birthday AU, fluff]

The loud noise emanating from my house makes me sick to my stomach. I told my best friend I want a small family and friend get together, not a party where I barely knew anyone. I growled under my breath as I walked through my front door, immediately traveling to the kitchen where I knew I could escape from reality with booze. I ran into people more than I would have liked to, but people were scattered to every inch of my tiny country house. As soon as I make my way to the kitchen, I spot the alcohol on the table. I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder and visibly jump. "Woah, Sakura. Calm down. It's just me." Ino smiles at me as she retracts her hand.

"Yeah, just you, don't give me that bullshit." Sakura rolled her eyes. "I told you I didn't want a stupid party. Just a get together of my friends and family. I don't even know half of these fools." She grumbled out as she crossed her arms. She then glanced over and saw that someone brought in a keg and some stupid teenagers were drinking from it upside down. "Don't spill that shit on the carpet!" She yelled over to the group.

Ino stared at Sakura, "Well I thought that you'd enjoy it, plus you barely have any fun. You're always studying." Ino muttered the last part of her sentence but Sakura heard her loud and clear.

The pinkeye turned to Ino and popped her hip, Sakura's arms were still crossed over her chest. "You know why I study, Ino?" Sakura took a singular step towards her friend, glaring up at her. "So I could get good grades and actually get into a good college to pursue a great career, not to just party whenever I want too." She seethed. Ino's jaw practically fell to the ground. Sakura grabbed a bottle of booze from the table, maybe a little too harsh, almost dropping it onto the ground. "Close your mouth, dear." Sakura comments. She slowly closes Ino's mouth. "You'll catch flies." Sakura then walks off in a sassy manner, as Ino watches after her.

Sakura sighs once she's away from Ino, she ascends the stairs and makes the way to her room. She pops the hatch and immediately the cool breeze hits her. She lets out a shaky breath, and smiling as she sees her breath fly into the air. She closes the hatch and plugs in her earbuds to drown out the sound of the other music that she described as utter trash. Sakura took a deep breath in and out, swinging her legs. She pulled the plug off of the booze bottle and took a big and harsh swig from it.

Before she could react, someone took out one of her earbuds from her ear. "Don't get too drunk. You'll miss your party." She visibly jumped and scooted away from the person who had talked into her ear.

"What the hell?!" Sakura yelled, almost dropping her booze but she caught it in time. "You don't just sneak up on people!" Sakura sneered through grit teeth. The boy stuck his hand out for her to take, she looked at him with a hesitant stare before grabbing his hand. It was really warm and spread the heat throughout her body, she then smiled at him.

"Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha." His raven hair fell in front of his face but was immediately blown back by the chilly air. He shook their hands up and down, Sakura soon followed his actions.

"Sakura. Sakura Haruno." The pinkette's smile soon fades as she remembers the booze bottle that's in her hands. Sasuke swipes the bottle from Sakura and takes a big swig. "Hey!" Sakura yelled as she reached for him but was stopped as Sasuke placed his hand against her face. Her arms swung wildly, Sasuke then let her go and she ended up charging at him. The two collided, Sakura fell on top of Sasuke but he managed to save the alcohol as well. Sakura realized what position they were in and quickly scurried off of him. "I'm so sorry!" She bowed. Sasuke laughed at her as he stood up, taking another drink after.

He finally handed the bottle back to the fuming Sakura. "Alcoholic." She muttered to him.

"Loner." He muttered back.

The two stared at each other and stuck out their tongues. Sakura huffed as she took another long drink, finally starting to feel the alcohol spread throughout her body. Sasuke then took a few steps closer to Sakura, he leaned in and his lips barely touched her ear. "Wanna do something fun?" He asked in a husky voice. She could smell the alcohol in his breath.

"What kind of fun?" Sakura asked. She placed her hand on his chest and pushed him away lightly.

Sasuke took Sakura's hand lightly and began to watch back to the hatch. "Come with me and I'll show you." He smirked as he helped Sakura down the hatch and then exited the roof himself. They then maneuvered around everyone who was dancing and drinking, as well as grinding. Sakura almost threw up at the sight of her party gone wrong. The two finally reached the front door and squeezed, then some guy who was dancing like a maniac hit the door. Sakura was then pushed into Sasuke, but he caught her before she fell and hurt herself. "Woah." He said with a small chuckle after.

Sakura lightly stood up from Sasuke's hold, dusting herself off for no particular reason. "Let's go then, shall we," Sasuke said, he held out his hand for Sakura and she gladly took it. As soon as she placed her tiny hand in his calloused one, he quickly drug her away from the loud noise of the party. They walked over to a tree with a motorcycle chained to it.

The pinkette backed away quickly and pointed at it. "You are not dragging me onto that death machine!" She yelled as she glared at the bike.

"Yes I am." Was Sasuke's only response. He tossed a helmet Sakura's way and she fumbled while trying to catch it.

"No-"

"Yes, now get on." By this time, Sasuke had already put his helmet on and gotten on the bike, along with unchaining the whole thing. "I'm not going to kill us, I promise." The ravenette had started up the bike. Sakura let out an excruciatingly long sigh, putting the helmet on before climbing onto the bike. "Atta girl." Sasuke praised.

Sakura playfully rolled her eyes as she wrapped her arms securely around Sasuke's waist. "Whatever, just don't murder me."

Sasuke just chuckled as he accelerated, leaving the confines of the yard and out onto the dangerous streets. Sasuke was well experienced with driving his motorcycle, with Sakura has never ridden one before. She had her head resting on Sasuke's back with her eyes glued shut, she refused to open them. "I know your eyes are shut!" Sakura groaned when he heard him yell back at her. "Open them!" He demanded.

The pinkette slowly lifted her head, peeking over Sasuke's shoulder. Her mouth turned into a tiny 'o' shape as her eyes sparkled. "Wow.." She muttered.

Sasuke smirked as he felt Sakura shift.

But soon, it started to sprinkle, and then the rain got heavier and heavier. Sasuke pulled into a nearby park one it started pouring. He parked under a tree, even though it didn't provide much cover. "It was fun while it lasted." She smiled as she took off her helmet, swinging her head lightly.

Sasuke stared at Sakura like he couldn't take his eyes off of her, this action made her blush. The boy took slow steps into the rain, removing himself from under the tree. He spun around a bit, swinging his arms around. Sakura smiled as she watched him. Then, Sasuke stopped and gave Sakura a light bow as he extended his arm towards her. "Care to dance, my princess?"

She giggled as she took his hand. "Why yes, my fair prince." Her body was pressed up against his as they moved in sync. She let him lead of course. He looked down at her as she looked up at him. "Best birthday ever." She muttered to the ravenette as a grin spread across her features.
