🌸Dynasty🌸
In the ancient temple where the dead ancestors are laid to rest and their lives are mourned by their family, a young woman was thrown imto a marble headstone and locked into the shrine.
She heard the cackle of a few concubines outside.
"No one let her out until she learns not to stare at our prince!" One girl declared loudly.
As the footsteps faded, the woman sat up and raised up her sleeve.
Blood
The woman ran her fingers through her pink hair and released the sash that binded it into it's ponytail.
"The women of the qin dynasty are vicious," although she said this, sakura smiled and wrapped the sash around her injured arm.
"Traveling years into the past would be easier if i had someone with me."
She stood up shakily, before examinimg herself. Nothing about her had changed- except for her clothes and her hair.
Her usual short pink hair was now long and spilling down her waist in waves. And instead of her quipao, she wore an elegant, but simple red kimono.
"I still have my memories..my knowledge of medicine and martial arts is still here as well... I wonder.."
Sakura walked towards the door of the shrine and took a deep breath before punching it.
The wood was thick, but she managed to break a small part of the door with a small amount of force.
She then blinked before rushing to the headstones and bowing
"Gomen! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!!"
She said this sincerely and looked at the smallest headstone
Qin mikoto
"What a beautiful name, she seems like a good woman.."
Sakura stared at the headstone and paid her respects to the dead until she saw the reflection of beams on the roof.
She smiled and looked up,
"Bingo!"
Carefully, she stepped omto the rails around the headstones and untied the sash around her waist.
She threw it up and hooked it onto one of the beams before tying a knot and climbing upwards.
It was a slow process, but she mamaged to make it upon the beams after a short amount of time.
"This would be safer than staying down there,"
After three days, the shrine door was finally opened.
Several women came through the door with a tall man- the same man sakura loved before she was sent into this world.
The one who she was staring at as soon as she woke up im the middle of an argument with a concubine.
He looked around slowly, before his eyebrows lowered in anger.
"What...is this a joke?"
He asked turning to the first woman, she cowered back in fear and slowly covered her mouth.
"She was disrespecting us and locked herself in here emperor wan...we don't know where she is now...
She couldn't habe escaped.."
Sakura covered her mouth and the corners of her eyes wrinkled slightly as she giggled at their failure. Unfortunately, her stomach wasn't as amused and growled for food but they didn't seem to hear it.
Though, her luck didn't last long because the so-called emperor looked up as off he sensed her presence before walking off.
The women only followed and once sakura was sure they were out of earshot, she jumped from the safety of her hiding place.
Slowly, she crept along the walls of the large palace and tried to find an empty room, or at least the old room of the girl she replaced, but couldn't remember the way.
As she neared a corner, her arm was yanked and she was pushed against the wall roughly.
"Who are you? How is it possible that you have her face? Is this some kind of sick joke?" The man's voice hissed angrily.
Sakura could sense the anger in his voice, but looking up at the familiar eyes she couldn't help but to stay silent.
"Answer me." He said bluntly, not wasting a second grabbing his sword and holding it against her throat- with one hand.
Sakura looked up at him. Her emerald eyes dulling the hostility in his.
She quickly flipped their positions while he was distracted and grabbed the sword. He began to grab her, but when she held it up to her hair- he stopped.
"Sak-!" He began to yell her name but stopped.
"I...i meant to say.."
Sakura could tell he was unaware of what her name was supposed to be, and found herself smiling at him.
His posture tensed and she threw the sword down before clasping her arms around his neck.
"Sasuke-kun! I'm not alone! It really is me!"
His posture slowly relaxed and he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Sakura..."
"Say it again," she giggled softly and buried her face into his warm embrace.
"Sakura.."
