"Sasuke-kun, please.."

She begged. He only glared.

"Tsk. Go back to the Leaf, Haruno."

Sakura couldn't stand it anymore. She encountered the young Uchiha on her way to Amigakure for a solo mission; and as expected, she tried to convince him to come home.

Tears streamed down her porcelain face as she looked at him, straight in the eyes.

Sasuke, being annoyed as ever, frowned.

Isn't she ever giving up?

"Sasu-!"

"Stop it."

She froze at his interruption.

"Sakura, stop. There is nothing you can do to convince me. So if I were you, I'd run away and hide."

"Damn it.. Sasuke-kun, you're out of your mind! Please, come back to the village, please!"

"Tsk. Just annoying."

"Sasuke, I love you.. I still do. Everyone wants you home in Konoha, where you belong." She said in between her sobs.

He only stared. She was wasting his time. And he hated it.

"As I said, there is nothing you can do to get me back. And even if you confess your love to me a hundred more times, my answer is final."

Sniffing, she tried to compose herself.

She will not look weak.

She will not cry for him anymore.

"Fine." She turned around, back facing the stoic, cold-hearted Uchiha survivor.

"Then, I'll stop. I'll stop getting in the way of your revenge. I'll stop holding on to that single strand of hope. I'll stop waiting for you.. and most important of all," her voice was stern and held no emotion in it.

"I'll stop loving you."

"Hn." He just answered, uninterested at what she said.

"But, if one day, you do come back to the village, and have no one to care for you anymore.. Don't blame me. It was your decision to reject me. It was your decision to make me stop it all. It was your decision to throw everything we had in the trash. It was your decision to break me... and so, it'll be your regret."

She stated. Sasuke only smirked.

"Pft. Believe me Haruno, I won't regret anything."

"Then, I guess this is goodbye, Uchiha Sasuke."

And with that, Haruno Sakura walked away.

After Naruto and Sasuke's final battle:

"...But, all in all, I'm glad that you're finally back Sasuke."

The blonde grinned as him and the raven lied on the ground.

Sasuke only glanced at his bestfriend, happiness visible in his expressionate black orbs.

He finally decided to come back to Konoha.

Naruto succeeded in literally knocking some sense in the misunderstood Uchiha.

Which of course, made both of them remember their Genin days.

"Hahaha.. I miss Team 7. What about you, Sasuke?" Naruto asked

"A little."

"A little?! Aw, come on Teme!"

Irritated, he gave in. Knowing that his bestfriend would never stop bugging him about it.

He sighed.

"Hn. Fine, Dobe. Maybe I miss our team more than just a little. Happy?"

Naruto chuckled. "Yeah! And I'm glad that our brotherly bond has been restored! I miss my rival chicken-ass haired bastard, Dattebayo!"

"Tsk. Loud as ever. You never change."

"Hey!" He whined and then suddenly thought, "Oh, but what about your bond with Sakura-chan?"

Sasuke looked at him and raised an eyebrow at his question.

"You know, you broke her heart and left her that night. Sakura-chan was the most affected among all of us. So, what are you planning to do, apologize or something?" The Kyuubi container asked.

"No."

"What? No?! Why not you bastard?!"

Sasuke smiled at him.

"Because I'm going to ask her to marry me."

As Uchiha Sasuke walked down the streets of the village one month after the war and their little battle, people in the streets started to whisper about him.

"Hey, isn't that the traitor?"

"Yeah, and I heard that he even trained under that Snake Sanin."

"You mean the psycho??"

"Yes. And his brother is none other than Itachi Uchiha, which he killed for revenge."

"My God! I just wish the Hokage will execute him instead."

"I agree."

Sasuke just ignored them and went to his blonde bestfriend's apartment.

It's funny how their lives suddenly changed because of his decision to leave for revenge. When they were kids, Naruto was the one who was always disliked; and him, loved and honored by the whole village. Now, it's just the other way around.

"Hey Teme!"

"Hn. Dobe."

"It's glad to see you back here! Do you wanna go to Ichiraku's and eat? Kaka-sensei is trea-"

"Where's Sakura?"

"S-Sakura-chan? A-Ah.. eh.. she.." Naruto stuttered which didn't went unnoticed by Sasuke.

"I need to talk to her. Where is she?"

The blonde looked down. "She's in the hospital on duty. Look, Sakura-chan is-"

"Which room?"

"In her office, room 107. Sasuke, you need to know something, she-!"

"Hn. I'm going."

And after that he dashed and left the Uzumaki behind.

I wonder what his reaction will be when he knows..

When Sasuke reached her office, he suddenly felt a warm feeling inside his heart.

He knocked on the door.

Sasuke just couldn't wait to see the pinkette again.

"Come in!" The familiar female voice said and he soon obeyed.

But when he stepped inside, he saw Sakura talking to a man with light-brown hair and dark black orbs.

When she noticed him though, her smile became a frown and soon the man saw him too.

He smiled at Sasuke and bid goodbye to Sakura..

Sasuke can only clench his fists at what he witnessed the man do to her before taking his leave.

..He kissed her on the lips.

He shot him endless death glares, that if could, can kill him on the spot.

After the man left, Sasuke walked closer to her.

"What are you doing here Uchiha?" She asked with an emotionless tone.

"Who is he?" He demanded.

"Why do you need to-"

"I'm asking you. Who is he?"

Without even flinching at how deadly his voice was, she replied,

"That was Kiro-kun."

Sasuke's heart shattered. Kiro-kun?

"Who is he to you?"

"....."

"Haruno, answer me!"

And it was just then did he saw a ring on her finger. He widen his eyes.

"Where did that ring came from?"

"....."

"Damn it! Sakura, answer me!"

"From him!" She finally snapped. "This ring was from Kiro-kun and we're already engaged!!"

E-Engaged?

"What the-"

"You heard me right, Sasuke. I'm getting married to him."

Ouch.

Instantly, Sasuke's world crumbled. Sakura, is getting married to a man who isn't him? This is insane. This can't be happening.

And since when did Sakura learned to fall for a man that isn't him? She loves him! How dare she?!

The Uchiha gritted his teeth. Oh, he could kill someone right now, and that lame excuse for a man would be a good option.

"No." He said.

"What did you just say?"

"I said, no. No, you are not marrying that man!" He glared at her.

Emerald clashed with onyx.

"And who said that I can't?! I can do whatever the hell I want Sasuke, and you can't do anything about it!"

He soon stepped closer to her and did the unexpected..

..he hugged her tight.

Sakura just stayed silent. No emotion or what so ever visible in her forest green eyes.

"Sakura, please.."

"No."

"S-Sakura, I don't want you to marry him, understand? Instead,"

He soon pulled out a silver ring from his pockets and showed it to her,

"Marry me."

She stared at him with an uninterested face. She soon shook her head.

"Get a life Uchiha."

He froze.

"Sakura, I'm sorry. Please, I'll make it up to you. Just give me another chance." He begged.

He loves her.

And he's just too afraid to lose one of his precious ones again..

Besides,

"You're the only one I have left."

"....."

"Screw it. Sakura, I love you! Marry me!"

"You're too late now, Sasuke. Even how many hundred times you confess to me, my answer is final. No."

Sasuke looked down.

She's giving me a taste of my own medicine.

"Sakura-"

"Sasuke, you told me three months back that, you want me to stop it, am I correct?"

"....."

"Do I have to repeat myself? I'll stop . I'll stop getting in the way of your revenge. I'll stop holding on to that single strand of hope. I'll stop waiting for you.. and most important of all,"

She breathe in deeply,

"I'll stop loving you."

Sasuke stayed silent.

"And I did. I moved on. You said you never cared about me, then there. You have it. I now have no affection for you. Remember what I said the last time?"

"But, if one day, you do come back to the village, and have no one to care for you anymore.. Don't blame me. It was your decision to reject me. It was your decision to make me stop it all. It was your decision to throw everything we had in the trash. It was your decision to break me...
