It has been four years since Naruto's last visit to the Uchiha Kingdom. Kyuubi kept visiting, but he always made up an excuse that Naruto has fallen ill and couldn't come. He now was talking to Itachi about what's going to happen between Naruto and Sasuke.

"Kyuubi, how is Naruto this year?" Itachi asked.
"He's fine." Kyuubi sighed. "However, he has locked himself in his room and refuses to leave. Iruka now stays behind to keep an eye on him." Kyuubi scoffed.
"Do you know why he's doing this?"
"No, last time he left here, he was really upset about something, but whenever I asked what was wrong, he just smiled and said it was nothing. Did Sasuke do something to him?" Kyuubi questioned.
"I don't know, but when you came back without Naruto that year, he was shocked. I later asked if he did anything, but he then ignored me and goes to practice, but I do believe he did something unintentionally." Itachi sighed.
"How has Sasuke been lately?"
"He's fine, he just spends most of his time practicing. Without Naruto here, he has no distractions besides Neji and Sakura."
"The pink-haired wolf?" Kyuubi asked.
Itachi nodded.
"I feel bad for her, I mean her father is forcing her and Sasuke to become mates. Sakura is still a child, I know she likes Sasuke, but I believe this is all an act she has to maintain for her father. I'm waiting for her to slip up from her act so that I have a reason to confront her father."
"Adults these days." Kyuubi shook his head.
"Back to Naruto and Sasuke, I believe there might be 3 people who can help with their situation."
"Who?"
"Sakura, Neji, and the other friend Naruto has back at home. Think about it. Neji is Sasuke's best friend, Naruto has his best friend, and Sakura can set those two together by helping them forget about their differences and misunderstandings."
"Seems clever." Kyuubi grinned.
