Previously on Chapter 24

I pull away to look at him. I gently kisses his cheek. "I love you too, Sasuke..." I said. He smiles and closes the gap between us, gently placing a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes, kissing him back passionately.

Y/N P.O.V

After we finished eating. Sasuke pay for the food. I told him I wanted to pay, but he just shushed me with a finger on my lips. If he already does that, no matter how hard I try to argue... he wouldn't listen.

"Are you feeling okay, babe?" Sasuke asked after we left the place. I turn to look at him to see him looking at me with a worried gaze. "I'm fine, Sasuke... don't worry" I said. He shakes his head at what I said and gently pinch my nose.

"I'll always be worried when it comes to you... you're my life, Y/N" he said, in a soft tone while staring at me with a loving gaze. His comment makes me blush a deep shade of red. Sasuke chuckles at my reaction and kisses my cheek lovingly. "I'll never get enough of you..." he said, nuzzling his nose against my hair. I nudge his rib lightly, causing him to chuckle.

"Stop teasing me..." I mumbled. He just smiles as he pull me even closer. "Sorry... you're just so irresistible..." he said. I just roll my eyes at his comment. We decided to go around the village some more.

After walking for a while, we ended up by the lake. This was the lake where Sasuke first came and talked to me. I smile at the memories as we take a seat right on the spot where I used to sit a couple of years ago.

"What's on your mind?" He said, making me turn to look at him. I smile softly and lean my head on his shoulder. "I just thought of the day, where you first talked to me... and it was right here... on this very spot. Do you remember that, Sasuke?" I said. I feel Sasuke nodding his head as he places his head on top of mine.

"Of course... how could I forget? I also remember how cold you were towards me" he asked, pouting at me as if he's sulking. I scoff at what I said. "Says the one who's always cold towards everyone... makes me wonder how can you be so loving with me" I said. He just chuckles at my comment.

"Well, you're not 'everyone.' You're my love..." he said. He gently holds my hand. He lift my hand and bring it closer to his lips. He places a soft kiss on the back of my hand, letting his lips linger against my skin. I smile softly at his loving gesture.

"Y/N, thank you so much for giving me a second chance. I have made so much mistake and I keep hurting you. But even so, you still love me..." he said, turning his body to face me. He holds both of my hand, holding them up to his chest.

"Everyone makes mistakes, Sasuke. What's important is that you accepted your mistake and tried to fix them. So I didn't regret giving you another chance..." I said, smiling softly at him.

"You're truly amazing. I honestly can't imagine my life without you. I would be so lost..." he added. He leans his forehead against mine. I notice a tear escaping his eyes. I lift my hand and gently wipe his tears away. "Y/N. I want you to be mine... officially. So, marry me?" He said. My eyes widened at what he said. He reach inside his pocket and take out a ring box. He opens it to reveal a ring with an Uchiha crest.

"Sorry there's no diamond..." he said. I just let out a soft laugh at what he said. "I don't need diamonds. I just need you. And yes, of course... I will marry you, Sasuke" I said. He smiles at what I said and gently holds my hand, slipping the ring on my ring finger.

"I love you, Y/N..." he said, leaning his face closer to mine. "I love you too..." I said. He closes the gap and places his lips against mine. I close my eyes and kisses him back. I move to sit on his lap, as he wraps his arms around my waist. I tilt my head slightly to deepen the kiss.

Time-skip

I sit on front of the mirror as Sakura helps me with my hair and make up. Hinata is also here. We have settled things between us. So, we're good now. Even though what she did with Naruto really hurts me. But if they didn't do that... I wouldn't have realized how much I'm still in love with Sasuke.

I stare at my reflection. "Wow... you're really good at this, Sakura. I've never been this beautiful before" I said, staring at my make up and hair in awe. Sakura let out a giggle as she places her hands on my shoulder.

"What are you talking about, Y/N? You've always been beautiful... Sasuke-Kun would be so lucky to have you as his wife" she said, making me smile at her comment. My heart feels warmed at her compliment.

"Now it's time to get you dressed!" Hinata said. I turn to look at her and smiles, nodding my head. She walks off to grab the dress. She walks back holding the wedding dress in her hand.

I hear a knock on the door as I admire my reflection. I turn to look at the door. "Come in..." I said. The door opens to reveal Naruto. He smiles at me and walks up to me.

"You're beautiful, Y/N..." he said. Hinata walks up to him, allowing him to wrap an arm around her waist. "Of course... who do you think are her maid of honors?" She said, making Naruto chuckles and kisses her cheek. He turns to look at me and smiles.

"It's time... are you ready?" He asked. I smile and nod my head. Hinata moves away from Naruto, allowing him to offer his arm to me. I loop my arm through his. He will be the one to walk me down the isle, because he was my brother figure. Even though we dated, it doesn't change that fact.

I take a deep breath as I try to calm my nerve. "You'll be fine..." Naruto assures. I turn to look at him and smiles softly. The door opens to reveal the hall. I smile when my eyes make contact with Sasuke. Naruto starts walking me down the isle. I keep my eyes on Sasuke. Seeing him right in front of me, makes me feel a lot calmer.

Eventually, I reached Sasuke. He lift his hand, allowing me to place my hand on top of his. I step up in front of him as he smiles at me.

"You're beautiful..." he said. I smile shyly at him as he lift my hand to place a soft kiss on the back of my hand. "You're handsome, Sasuke..." I said. He smiles at me. We turn our attention to the priest who told us to say our vows.

"Very well. Do you, Uchiha Sasuke take Uchiha Y/N as your lawfully wedded wife? To love each other through sick and health?" He said, while looking at Sasuke. He smiles at me and nods his head. "I do..." he said. The priest nods his head and turn to look at me.

"And do you, Uchiha Y/N... take Uchiha Sasuke as your lawfully wedded husband. To love each other through your life and death..." he said. I smile and nod my head. I turn to look at Sasuke. "I do..." I said.

"And congratulation... I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" he said. Sasuke take a step closer to me. He cups my cheeks softly as he leans in to place a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes, kissing him back softly.

"I love you, wifey..." he said, after pulling away with his forehead leaning against mine. "I love you too, hubby..." I said. He smiles happily. He pulls me closer. I lean my head against his chest, as the cloud break into cheers.

Even though we have broken up... and grew to hate each other. In the end, we manage to find our way back and fall for each other again. Our love has grown stronger than ever before.

If I didn't experience it myself, I wouldn't have believed in the existence of true love. I would have believed that true love only exists in fairy tales. But it's true... true love does exists. Sasuke is the love of my life and our love is forever.
