'Who is that girl? And what happened to her?!' they both thought at the same time.

'Who are you!?' They said (again) at the exact same time and giggled a bit.
'You first..' Katsume said.
'I'm Amaya Uchiha..you're turn..'
'I'm Katsume Hatake..'
'What happened to you?'
'A ninja stabbed my shoulder...you?'

'My brother stabbed my stomach...Oh well! I guess we both need medical attention huh?' Amaya said smiling at that last part.

'Wanna go together? I mean, to the nearest village for medical attention. That was my previous plan. To just keep walking until i get to a village. Plus, i could use the company..'
'You know what?! That was the EXACT same plan i was going to do! Sure!'

Katsume and Amaya started walking and talking with each other's past. And that they both want to become awesome ninja!

'Hey Katsume,..If people ask... let's not give them our last name. They might bring us back to our clan.. Well, for me maybe just bring me somewhere like to an orphan house or something. And I don't want that. I want to at least try to train to become a ninja.. And if they return you to your family.. you'll never get the chance to even try! Let's just learn to be independent. Well, just for a bit maybe. Then you can return to your family. I'll just go buy a house somewhere i guess..'

'I think you're right. Plus, i want to prove to my father that I am not weak! And that i can become like my Nii-san! And, I'm sorry about your family Amaya.It must be hard. To know that your older brother killed your entire family and possibly your twin... When we do finish our training, maybe you can live with me! I don't think it'll be any trouble!..' Katsume said.

'Thanks Katsume!' Amaya said gratefully. While they were walking, they came across Katsume's home village.

'My home! I'M HO-' Katsume immediately stopped. Amaya's eyes widened as memories started to flood back. Katsume's WHOLE clan, had been murdered.

'Katsume. I'm so sorry..' Amaya said.
'He's still alive..' Katsume said withought taking her eyes of the horrible sight. Amaya could even see a single tear role down her cheek.

'Who is?'
'My nii-san. He's alive. I just know it! The blood seems really dry so it couldn't have happened just now. And this was exactly what my mom was doing when Kakashi and I left for the forest!!'
Katsume's mom was finishing up her gardening when Kakashi and Katsume left their village. And now she was in the garden holdings flower covered in blood.

'That can only mean they were killed while we were gone!' Katsume shouted.

'Do you want to go back to your brother?' Amaya asked.
'I don't know where he would go. I guess we're both the same now huh?'
'Then we shall train. Become great ninja and be happy. That's what are family would have wanted us to be. We can stay in the woods after we are healed and train there.' Amaya said and Katsume nodded her head.
Amaya then, walked over to Katsume and hugged her and Katsume gladly hugged back.

They walked back into the forest and continued to search for the nearest village. When they finally found one.
