Katsume was always jealous of her older brother, Kakashi. She wanted to be a great ninja just like him. But, her father thought she was weak and didn't want her to get hurt.

So, she had to go for 'stupid' gardening, cooking and manners class. Katsume was a very nice and gentle girl which was why she had a lot of friends. But sadly, none of Katsume's friends wanted to become a ninja and they all thought it was gross, tiresome and troublesome.

Katsume loved her nii-san very much but sometimes he was just plain goofy. Katsume despised Kakashi's 'books' and would always play pranks on him about them.

For example, chopping and ripping a book and innocently saying you thought it was food or 'accidentally' putting soil on it. Now that's where those classes come in handy.

Katsume always watched Kakashi train and memorised some jutsus and moves. But, she never had time to practice.

    One day, Kakashi and Katsume were walking in the forest looking around when suddenly a group of ninja started started attacking them. Katsume was beyond terrified. Kakashi beat them all up one by one and finished them off.

But, there was one more ninja hiding behind costume ready to grab her. It all happened so fast. The next thing Kakashi knew was that his little sister was taken away.

He could't sense the ninja's chakra and just gave up. He started crying when he saw blood from his sister on the ground.
'I was suppose to protect her! And she just.... VANISHED! I must tell father...'
Kakashi thought and ran home. But what he saw shocked him and he immediately ran. What just happened to his family?

With Katsume...
  Katsume was locked in a chamber with a gash on her shoulder. She winced at the pain but shook it off.
'I need to escape! Maybe I can just sneak away. But the door is locked... MY HAIR PIN!!'
Katsume took her hair pin and jiggled it through the lock.

'YES! I DID IT!' Katsume quietly crept outside and into the forest.
'Pff! What horrible security! I need to go home! But, maybe I should train as a ninja! First things first, I need to treat this wound! I'll just keep walking until I get to a village! Yeah! It's a stupid plan but my only plan! I don't even know the way home anyway...'

Katsume kept on walking until she saw a girl with raven-black hair and a gash on her stomach right in front of her....
