The sun was not up yet. Everyone was sleeping peacefully. Until an irritating noise woke them up..

"WAKE UP WAKE UP!!!! IT'S TIME TO GET UP!!" Kyoko yelled while hitting a pot with a ladle she found.

"COME ON!! WAKE UP!! I'LL DRAG YOU ALL OUT IF I HAVE TOO!!" One by one, everyone started to come out. Tired.

"What the hell Kyoko. I'm so damn tired.." Amaya said while rubbing her eyes trying to focus. 

"If you people want to get to Kita Aisu quick, you need to have a head start. You only have three more days. That's little. You still have to go through Minami Kasai and west water. Plus, you guys should get there early to plan your battle plan.." Kyoko added.

"Shoot.. I forgot about having a battle plan..." Katsume mumbled. 

"Doesn't matter now, young mistress. We can figure that out when we get to Kita Aisu. We have to focus on getting there first." Naomi spoke to Katsume and she nodded her head. 

"Who are you nodding at?" Kankuro whispered to her while everyone else were trying to wake SOME PEOPLE, who were STILL SLEEPING despite the noise, up. 

"Oh. Just Naomi." Katsume replied while giving him a warm smile. 

"K." When everyone was finally awake, they gathered together. 

"So what are we going to do now?" Sasuke asked rather irritatingly. He really didn't like being woken up with aa clattering noise. It was annoying.

"We're going to enter Minami Kasai." Amaya answered flicking he brother's forehead and he just glared at her. 

"Why the hell did you do that?!" Sasuke whispered to Amaya while Katsume was explaining the rest to the others. 

"Because you looked like you needed to really wake up." Amaya answered and Sasuke looked like he wanted to strangle her but of course, he wouldn't do that when he just got her back. 

"I was already awake, baka.." He mumbled, "Plus, you shouldn't thwack your older brother.." Sasuke smirked.

Amaya grew a large tick mark on her head and glared at Sasuke.

"Seriously! You're only older by like what one minute?!" Amaya whispered irritatingly.

"Two minutes." Sasuke cocky corrected and Amaya looked like she was going to blow up. She then proceeded to flick Sasuke's forehead again and he glared at her. 

"What the hell!" Sasuke whisper-shouted but Amaya just did the eyelid pull taunt and walked off to Katsume. Sasuke shook his head but smiled slightly later on.

(When Amaya was flicking Sasuke's forehead...)

"So, about Minami kasai, we really need to be careful there. It's a totally new war zone compared to Azuma Chikyū  so we need to be careful." Kiyoko spoke. 

"But you do know the way out of this Minami kasai, right?" Ino questioned and looked at Katsume. Katsume kinda had that face when you just realised that you seriously don't know anything even though you are suppose to.

"Y-Yeah! Of course I do! Why would you e-even doubt me?! Of course I know the way out! I mean, it's not like I've been relying on other people to help me get out of Minami kauai! How could you even suggest such a thing!!" Katsume rambled on and on. 

'Yup.. That's my lil' sis...' Kakashi thought, looking at Katsume.

'Yup.. That's my girlfriend...' Kankuro thought, also looking at Katsume.

 Amaya then went to go and stand beside her.

"We need to leave now. We-" Amaya started but Sakura interrupted.

"You know you don't need to boss us around. We-" She said but immediately shut her mouth when she saw SOME PEOPLE glaring at her, as if saying if she continued, there would be a LOT of trouble. 

"Guys, I'm really sorry though. If you think that we're bossing you around." Amaya looked down and started.

"It's just that if we don't get to Kita Aisu soon, everything could just die.." Katsume continued.

"And we really don't want that to happen." Amaya added.

"Because there is still so much to see in life. We want to save everything. We want to protect it. We just want to protect you guys." Katsume claimed and everyone just stayed silent. Then, one sniffle was heard and then another one. Then, soon the girls started crying.

"Kami... Why do you guys have to be so emotional.. Troublesome..." Shikamaru stated.

"I-I'TS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!!!" Ino cried.

Then, the girls went to go and hug Amaya and Katsume. Soon, everybody joined the hug.

"OKOKOKOK! YOU PEOPLE SERIOUSLY NEED TO LEAVE!!!" Kiyoko shouted and they all nodded their head. 

"LET'S GO!!" Lee and Naruto shouted, fist bumping the air. As they were at the borderline between Minami Kasai and Azuma Chikyū, Kiyoko called out something to them, while smiling.

"Remember to say hi to Makai for me if you see him and good luck!" And she vanished.

"Makai?" Shino questioned but Amaya and katsume just looked at each other. 

"Ok. Let's go." Amaya said anyway.

(AMAYA'S POV)

We were walking in Minami Kasai for six minutes. SIX MINUTES and there are already complaints for a break. I stood at the front because SOMEBODY apparently doesn't know the way out of this place. That SOMEBODY stayed at the back. Keeping watch. I don't mean to name names but it was totally Katsume!!!

I had one sword in each hand, looking around frantically. 

"What's up with you?" Gaara suddenly asked me and I sighed.

"It's just that at Minami Kasai, anything can just pop out at you. Right now, we have to try to make it to Nishi no Mizu by noon which I know is impossible." I sulked. 

"Why by noon?" I looked at the ground before answering his question. 

"That's when the fire ignites." 

"What do you mea-" But Naruto interrupted him.

"Please! Let's take a break!" Naruto cried. Just then, a whole bunch of sand was shoved into his mouth. He started making incoherent sounds and I sweat dropped. 

"Ne, Amaya-chan, we should take a break for a few moments. We can explain to everyone the... stuff about Minami Kasai." Rin softly said. I sighed and nodded my head, stifling a yawn.

We went towards a tree and sat down. I seriously just wanted to sleep right then. I was so tired. No matter how hard I tried to keep my eyes open, I just couldn't. I was exhausted. One moment I was just blinking and the next, I was drifting off to Dreamland.

(Katsume' POV)

Once we sat down, my eyes landed towards Amaya whose eyes were half closed. She looked tried. I couldn't really blame her. She didn't really sleep the previous night.  Tenten and I were the first ones to sleep. 

In the middle of the night, I woke up. Why? I don't know. But I saw Amaya just looking out. Before I could ask anything, I fell asleep again. 

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I saw Amaya fall asleep on Gaara who was trying to hide is bush with his hands. Sasuke just glared at him.

"Let's just let her sleep. I don't think she's had a good sleep before this." I said said and they nodded their head and Temari broke the silence.

"So, what's up with this place. I thought you said it would be dangerous. So far, it doesn't seem like that." I looked to the ground and began. 

"The thing about Minami Kasai is that in the morning, it's normal. Like a normal land with trees and villages. But everything changes when it turns noon. That's when the fire starts and it doesn't burn out until midnight." 

"So there are youthful villages here?" Lee asked, surprisingly quiet. 

"Yup. All the villagers lock themselves in their homes at noon though. They live here because this place is where crops grow the best. Surprising it's not in Azuma Chikyū though. They'll usually use it to do trading in other regions or in other dimensions." I replied.

"We should get going now. We can't afford to run into any demons here." Rin said while standing up. 

"What do I do about Amaya?" Gaara asked. Amaya was still sleeping. 

"Ano.. Just carry her. She needs the sleep." I responded and watched Gaara place Amaya on his back. 

"You better not try anything." I heard Sasuke whisper to Gaara.

While everyone was standing up and stretching, I was worried. I know so little about Minami Kasai. Amaya is usually the one who knows her way around this place and she's asleep! I don't even remember the way out. 

Some of the demons here are more suited to fight against Amaya. I really don't even know which direction we're suppose to go now. I was on the verge of crying but I knew I had to stay strong. 

"Hey, are  you okay?" Kakashi asked me. I faced him, putting up a smile. 

"Yeah. Definitely." I walked away and went to Rin. Hopefully she knows her way around this place...

(Non one's POV)

Katsume made her way to Rin.

"Hey Rin-chan, I was wondering.." Katsume trailed off. She didn't know how to say it. She was embarrassed.

"You need help to guide everyone don't you." Rin voiced out and Katsume looked flabbergasted.

"H-How did-"

"I guess I just know.." Rin answered, smiling.

"OH THANK KAMI.." Naomi suddenly said in Katsume's mind.

'Oh. Naomi. Hi there.' Katsume thought.

"It's just so embarrassing that not even I know my way around Minami kasai." Naomi confessed and Katsume giggled. 

"Ok.. So I think we should head this way and then turn right around 300 metres from there. Then we just go straight and then turn left then right and go under the bridge because if we go across it it will break... Then we go up turn right, left, right again and then right again... Then, we go right then right then left then north-east then left then left and keep on walking straight until we see a sign that says "762". After that we would probably be one tenth way there.. I think.." Rin explained and everyone just stared at her. 

"Did you catch any of that?" Tenten whispered to Neji and he just shook his head. 

"I'm not so sure if that's correct though... I guess we'll just wing it." Rin added and everyone started at her like she was crazy. 

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME I CAN'T STAND ANOTHER 10 MINUTES HERE! ITS SO HOTTT..." Naruto whined.

"Stop whining Naruto..." Sakura muttered. 

"WE MUST BE YOUTH-" Lee start, however Sakura shut him up.

Katsume sighed before looking off into the distance where they were to go. 

"I'm sorry that I'm not much of use now... It's just that I have no energy to stay awake.. Could we get something to eat?" Naomi asked, out of breath. 

'I'm not so sure... Hopefully we find some food somewhere.. Ok?... Naomi? Naomiiiiiii?' However, Naomi did not answer. Katsume sighed before turning back. 

"Ok guys. Let's go." Everyone followed her. They turned turned right around 300 metres from the path they were walking. Amaya was still sound asleep despite Gaara's foot nearly catching on fire. Luckily Temari splashed ALL OF HIM with their only source of water. Guess not so lucky actually. 

They continued to go straight and turned left. By then, some people were already half dead.

They turned right and went under a bridge. By then, they found a village. Everyone was acting like it was a normal day and it seemed like it wasn't even that hot for them. The villagers looked at all of them with no expressions. Their eyes followed wherever they moved. Suddenly, a little girl around the age of seven ran towards them. 

"What are you doing here. My Mommy said that you guys should stop where you are heading because the Shito has been active lately." They all looked at Katsume.

"Who's Shito?" Kakashi asked

"And WHAT'S Shito?" Kankuro added. Katsume bit her lip before thanking the little girl and waving her goodbye. 

"Rin!" Katsume called Rin over as Rin made her way fro the back of the group to the front.

"Hey... Are you sure we should continue.. Shito has been active lately and you KNOW that none of us know how to handle it." Katsume told Rin as Rin gave her a big hug. Rin looked just as worried before sighing, "I don't know..." 

"What's going on?" Gaara asked with the sleeping Amaya still on his back. 'She's completely exhausted, how could i have not noticed' Katsume thought before giving the group a forced reassured smile. "Nothing guys, we just really really have to hurry right now." Kakashi furrowed his eyebrows and went closer to his sister and putting a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" 

Katsume looked towards her left and right before shaking her head. "I-I'm fine! We just really need to go no-" 

Hissing was heard from a far distance making everyone look around suspiciously. "W-what was that?" Sakura asked and Tenten look toward the side before flinching. "W-what is that?" Everyone looked to where Tenten was pointing to just to freeze. 

In the far distance, a large snake like creature was looking directly at them. It had seven heads, a snake like body and legs that resembled a centipede. Everyone's breath hitched before their fighting instincts kicked in and they readied themselves. "Nobody move." Katsume whispered and everyone stopped moving. 

"We can take it." Kankuro reassured her but Katsume's eyes started filling with tears. "N-no, we can't you have to trust me. We can't." 

"Katsume..." Kankuro murmured and suddenly the creature disappeared. Hinata and Neji flinched. "It's gone. It completely disappeared." Katsume started to shiver before taking a deep breath. "When I say go, we have to run as fast as we can okay?" Everyone looked around worried before reluctantly nodding their heads. 

Rustling was heard from behind the group and Katsume shouted, "GO!" Everyone sprinted as fast they they could, running under bridges and past fiery houses. "Everyone is locking themselves in their house." Ino remarked. 

"Keep running, we can try to find a place to hide." Katsume called out as she took a direct left while everyone followed suit. 

'This being...' Kakashi thought. Nobody looked back but everyone could sense the enormous energy the creature was emitting as it scaled behind them, the sound of it running after them burning in their memory. 

"We can do it guys! We're almost th- No..." Katsume suddenly stopped, making everyone stop. "Shit..." Sasuke mumbled as they all stared in front of them. "It can't be..." Temari said, taking a slight step back. 

In front of the group was another creature almost identical to Shito. However, compared to what was in front of them, Shito seemed to be puny. The creature in front of them snared its teeth to reveal rows and rows of them. "There's two? No... it can't be." Katsume said, covering her mouth with her hands before slumping to the ground. "It's over."

"No! It can't be! We can still make it!" Naruto cried and turned around only to see Shito crawling up to them in what looked to be a horrific smile. The creatures quickly made their way towards the group as Katsume looked helpless on the ground. 

Gaara placed Amaya next to Katsume making everyone look at him in confusion. Gaara looked at them expressionless before saying, "We have to try." Confidence surged through everyone as they nodded their head. They looked at the two girls before running towards the two creatures. 

'We have to do this' They all thought, getting rid of all traces of fear in their heart. 

Right before they attacked the creatures, an enormous flame emerged from when they were, blasting the two creatures away. They hissed for a while before digging a tunnel and crawling inside. Everyone stood there shocked. "What the... but we were just about to..." Naruto complained, secretly g;ad they didn't have to face the creatures though. 

As the flames cooled down, smoke emerged everywhere causing everyone to start coughing. A figure emerged from the shadows as everyone prepared themselves for a fight if necessary. 

"Makai?" Amaya's voice suddenly spoke making everyone snap their heads towards her. Her lips were parted as she looked at the being in shock. A sickeningly vicious smile was seen as a boy with messy red hair and black devil horns emerged. 

"What's up losers"

This had been in my drafts for the past few years so I decided to finish it up before posting it. I'm so sorry for leaving this story on TBC but my interest in writing has just gone down. I'm so sorry to everyone who has followed the story and shown so much love and support. Maybe one day I will continue the story but for now, I'm stopping. Thank you so much for following my journey and you better believe I'll be back one day.
