'HOT HOT HOTTTT!!!!!!!'

That was the first thing that everyone heard from the one and only Naruto. He was jumping around. His jacket was caught on fire.

'Naruto. Could you not tell the whole land that you are on fire..' Kakashi murmured while rubbing his forehead.

'Maybe we should go back to Azuma Chikyū. It's getting quite dark and we don't really want to walk in the dark in Minami Kasai..' Amaya suggested.

The sun was starting to set. It drowned in the horizon, it's rays of light glimmering in the darkness of the clouds faded and the pale moon peeked at me from the stars.

'W-Why?' Hinata asked, slightly scared. She fiddled with her fingers nervously.

'You don't want to know..' Katsume answered. They walked to the edge of Azuma Chikyū, right before they entered Minami Kasai but a few steps away. They went into an open area.

As the sky started getting darker, the stars were more visible and the whole sky started to look celestial.

'We should sleep here for tonight. We can continue to go through Minami Kasai tomorrow. We can make shelter with sticks and logs.' Rin said softly.

'They usually can't hold so many people. Okay.. we have 18 people, not including Akamaru, in each shelter will have 3 people in them.' Amaya said.

'So who is going to sleep with who?' Naruto shouted excitedly. Everyone just stared at him. Did he not just understand what he just said?

'What?' He asked cluelessly and everyone sweat dropped. Well, except Hinata. She thought it was kind of cute. (>.< NaruHina!!)

'Dobe.' Sasuke hit him on the head.

'OW! TEME! WHAT'D I DO?!'

'Ok that's enough..' Kakashi said splitting them apart. Katsume placed her bag down and got out a piece of paper and a pen.

'Ok. I'm going to write down the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 on this pieces of paper. Whichever number you get, the other two people who got the same number as you will be your ano.. sleeping buddies.' She explained and folded the pieces of paper once she was done.

Everyone took a pice of paper.

(THIS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE.. UHH.. SLEEPING BUDDIES WITH EACH OTHER)

1: Kakashi, Shino, Choji, Shikamaru

2: Temari, Sakura, Ino

3: Hinata, Rin, Lee

4: Amaya, Tenten, Katsume

5: Naruto, Kiba (+Akamaru) , Kankuro

6: Sasuke, Neji, Gaara (The emo people.. -_-' )

'Everyone, spread around and try to find as many stable stick and logs as possible. Don't wander to far.' Amaya said and everyone went. Sasuke started to come over to her.

'Wanna go?' He asked her. Amaya was about to answer but saw Sakura standing behind, unsure where to start.

'I think Sakura would rather go with you..' Amaya said while smirking.

'But she's so annoying..'

'You know she's not deep down..'

Sasuke grounded and made his way towards Sakura.

'Hey Sakura, do you want to go and look for sticks and stuff with me?'

Sakura blinked.

'OMG! YES SASUKE-KUN!'

Amaya chuckled at what she saw next. Sakura following Sasuke everywhere like a lost puppy and him looking annoyed and irritated.

'He secretly likes it though..' Amaya thought and smiled to herself. 'I can tell by the way he secretly looks at h-

'Hey can I talk to you..' A certain red-head snapped her out of her thoughts.

(WITH KATSUME) ~Her POV~

Amaya told us to look around for stable sticks and logs and I was ready to go. I saw Kakashi not going anywhere. He just sat down and started digging through his bag. I hopped over to him.

'Nii-san~' I said sing-song-ingly. He looked up to me and I knew exactly what he was going to do.

'You're going to read. Aren't you..' He nodded his head and I sweat dropped.

'I haven't read it the whole day!' He complained and i just shook my head while laughing. I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Kankuro standing there behind me.

'I need to talk with you..' He whispered but Kakashi heard him

'Oi! Don't do anything funny!' Kakashi said to us and I blushed madly.

'Nii-san!!' He just laughed and continued reading his book. I turned back to Kankuro and nodded my head.

We started walking around in awkward silence looking for sticks. I grabbed a few strong ones.

Naomi!

Oh my god Naomi! Where have you been!

Somewhere. Mostly relaxing. Sleeping. Stuff like that.

Oh. So.. what did you need?

You do know you are making this walk really awkward. I mean seriously! Say something!

Like what?

I don't know. You've got to figure that out. 

'So eto.. nice weather we have right?' 

REALLY?! IS THAT SERIOUSLY ALL YOU COULD ASK?! I JUST- UGH. Ciao. I'm going to sleep.

Naomi? 

Naomiii

I guess she is right.I mean seriously Katsume! Is that the best you can come up with! He chuckled.

'Yeah. Nice weather..' He answered. There's that awkward silence again.. He suddenly stopped walking and I looked at him.

'What's wrong?' I asked him.

'It's just that.. this place.. it's seems so dangerous.. I don't want anything to happen to you int his war that's going to happen..' He said quietly. I walked over to him and smiled.

'Nothing's going to happen. I'm not that weak girl I was a few years ago. I'm stronger. I'm going to be okay.' I put my sticks on the floor and then took out a marble I had in my pocket and placed it in his hand.

'This is my lucky marble. It's kind of like a lucky charm. It's quite cheeky and silly but I've always had it with me and it always brings me good luck. Well... most of the time. I'm going to give it to you.' I smiled while explaining it to him.

'Why? Won't you lose all your luck?' He looked at me with the eyes I always drowned myself in.

'Of course not! You're my lucky charm now!' He unexpectedly pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek.

'I'm never going to let you go..' He whispered in my ear and I smiled.

I grabbed the sticks from the ground. We made our way back to the area, while picking up sticks and kicking logs. We finally made it back. I couldn't help but grin cheekily knowing that Kankuro would always be by my side.

(With Amaya during that period of time) ~Her POV~

Gaara pulled me over to the side. We started walking around grabbing few sticks here and there. We didn't say anything and just kept on walking. I knew he wasn't much of a talker but he would at least say something! 

Did I do something? What if he is angry at me?! What he decided that he doesn't actually like me and just pities me?! WHAT IF-

Hi

Lia?! Lia where the hell have you been these past few whatevers!

Well.. you know. Over here over there...

Goodness gracious..

Anyway, I just came because you seemed a little stressed out. Just calm down. It's nothing bad. 

How do you know that

I actually don't. I'm guessing.

LIA!

Whatever. I'm going back to chilling. You are just so complicated sometimes..

Lia? 

ughhhh...

'Amaya..' Gaara started and I slowly turned my head towards his

'Yeah?' I asked hesitantly.

'Now that I've seen what type of dangerous stuff that is over here.. I.. just want you to be careful. I don't you to get hurt.' He said while looking away blushing.

I knew he isn't very good with this sappy love romance stuff but I find it cute when he tries.

'Gaara..I can defend myself from any danger. Even if I can't, I know that everyone is going to help..'

'But you almost died with Kizuato and-'

'And you saved me..' I said while smiling. I placed my sticks and stuff on the ground and pulled him in for a hug.

'I just don't want to lose you..' He mumbles in my ear. I pulled away and reached in my pocket to grab a kunai. 

'Here. This was the first kunai I found when I was a little girl. It was on the ground of a forest so I just took it. It's always been my favourite one. I want you to keep it.' I said while gently placing it in his hand.

'Why would you want to give this to me?' He asked curiously.

'It's kind of like I'm connected to you that way.' I said while smiling. He leaned forward and kissed my cheek.

'I'll always be with you..' He said and pecked my cheek, blushing madly. We then decided it was time for us to make it back. I picked up my sticks and we headed back to where we would meet everyone.

After setting up the places for the to sleep, the long awaited question was asked..

'So what are we going to eat?' Naruto asked.

'Oh. I didn't think of that.' Amaya replied. 

'BUT I'M HUNGRYYYY!!!' Naruto whined. Everyone was.

'Shut up dobe. So annoying..' Sasuke said although he couldn't deny that he was hungry.

'Don't be have some snacks?' Tenten asked. 

'We either ate them while walking or they fell out.' Katsume answered directly. She started walking around the area when she suddenly stopped and look up at the tree. 

'AMAYA! RIN! COME!' Katsume whisper-shouted. Amaya and Rin went over to her and Katsume whispered to them. Amaya's eyes widened and Rin's hand covered her mouth as they both look up the tree. 

'Ano.. What do you think is happening?' Temari asked. 

'MAYBE THEY-' Lee started but his mouth was covered by everyone.

'Lee! We don't want more creatures being attracted to us!' Sakura told him.

'OF COURSE MY YOUTHFUL LOVE-' 

'Lee!!' Ino said extremely annoyed. 

'THE POWER OF Y-' 

'Shut up!!' 

'YOOUUTTHH!!!' 

'SHUT THE HELL UP LEE!' 

The one and only Hinata screamed and punched Lee in the head and knocked him out. Everyone looked shocked her.

'G-Gomen! He was just really l-loud..' Hinata said shyly. 

They all turned back to face where the 3 girls were but found them gone.

DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNNN!!!!

'Where'd they go?' Kiba questioned and Akamaru barked. 

'We're behind you.' Rin's soft voice spoke and they turned around to find her, Amaya and Katsume holding 3 gigantic watermelons. 

'Where'd you get those?' Neji asked suspiciously. I mean, 3 girl were just looking up a tree, suddenly disappeared and then reappeared with 3 gigantic watermelons. It's freaky!

'In that tree we were looking at, there was the legendary Tenshi no Neko (Angel cat)that is extremely rare to see. She was a neko meaning she was half cat half human. She was in the tree looking at us and suddenly disappeared and reappeared further into the forest and signalled us to follow her.' Amaya said and put her watermelon down on the ground. The same with Katsume and Rin.

Katsume decided to continue. 'She then lead us to this place where watermelons grew and she reassured us that they were not poisonous. We believed since a Tenshi no Neko never lies and it's heart is the purest you will ever see. Then, she guided us back here.' 

'W-what did she l-look like?' Hinata asked curiously.

'She had beautiful white hair and green eyes.' Rin answered with a smile.

'What are we (munch) waiting for! Let's eat' Choji said. Everyone looked at him and blinked.

'CHOJI! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US YOU HAD FOOD?!' 

'I need to save these! I don't to share them with anyone anyway!' And everyone sweat dropped.

'So how are we going to open the watermelons?' Temari asked. Tenten suddenly took out a large cleaver and everyone stepped back one step.

'Why are you carrying that thing with you?!' Sakura exclaimed and Tenten shrugged. 

'Kids these days..' Kakashi mumbled.

Tenten made her way to the watermelons and started cutting them up into smaller pieces at lighting speed and placed them on a big disposable plate Katsume brought. 

'There we go!' Everyone took one watermelon and started eating it while sitting on the log they set up. They ate while talking to one another. Rin and Hinata got along extremely well and they acted as if they knew each other forever. Amaya, Katsume, Temari, Sakura and Ino were talking with each other just about random things.

Choji, Kankuro, Naruto, Lee and Kiba were sticking the watermelons in there mouth acting like clowns. Sasuke, Gaara, Neji and even Akamaru were just eating silently and shook their heads at the crazy clowns. Kakashi was trying not to get any watermelon juice on his precious book while he was eating and reading. 

Suddenly, there were little twinkles and a neko with white hair and green eyes appeared and smiled.

'Hi.' Her angelic voice said with a smile and everyone was shocked at how she just appeared.

'You're the neko that led us to the watermelons! Arigatou!' Katsume said with a smile. 

'Oh no need for that! I just wanted to help. My name is Kiyoko. I just came by since it get's quite boring not talking to a whole bunch of people. So, I came to say hi.' Kiyoko said. She spotted Akamaru and immediately flew to him.

'KAWAII!! :3' She said which caused everyone to look at her.

'Shouldn't a Neko not like a dog?' Ino asked.

'Yeah. Well, I think that dogs are really cute.' Kiyoko answered while pulling Akamaru into a hug. Kiyoko then started chatting with everyone while petting Akamaru's head. 

'So what's the purpose of all of you to come here?' Kiyoko asked.

'Well (takes a bit of a piece of a watermelon), Akuhei has threatened us and if we're not there in 4 days. he's going to go to the other dimension and start eating people..' Amaya answered and Kiyoko furrowed her eyebrows.

'Akuhei? Ugh. That guy. Where must you meet him?' Kiyoko asked politely.

'At Kita Aisu..' Rin answered. 

'Is that enough time?' Kiyoko looked worried. 

'We don't know..' Katsume answered while looking down.

'I really wish I could help but I don't think the leader of the Tenshi no Neko would allow me to go..' 

'You can fight?' Kiba asked.

'Yup!'

After more chits and chats about Akuhei and the mission, everyone continued talking with one another while Kiyoko was busy playing with Akamaru.

'Does he ever interact with other dogs?' Kiyoko asked excitedly to Kiba and he blushed and looked away.

'Ano.. Sometimes I guess.' He answered.

'Sorry if I'm asking too many questions. It's just I hardly ever see a dog unless I go to the other dimension. Even then I don't even get to go to village. I just see some while they are on missions with their owners and all..' Kiyoko's ears were flat looking sorry and Kiba's blush deepened. 

'N-No! It's fine!' And Kiyoko smiled.

There was suddenly a screech and Kiyoko's ears perked up.

'Oh. I gotta go. I'll see you guys tomorrow before you leave for Minami Kasai! Sayonara!' She waved and disappeared. 

'Damn. That Kiyoko chick sure is a hotty..' Kiba said and everyone looked at him. 

'Well. I guess you could say she is attractive. But not my type.' Shine respond and everyone looked at him like he was crazy. 

Katsume faced Kiba again and spoke. 'Ano.. Kiba-kun, I really think you should just get over Kiyoko-san.' 

'What.. why?'

'It's just that-' Katsume began but she was interrupted by Amaya.

'It's ok Katsume. Let him find out by himself.' Amaya smirked before saying, 'I think it's time for all of us to go to sleep. We have a long day tomorrow.'  

 Everyone stood up and went to there separate sleeping areas after mumbling their good nights. 

All that was left was Amaya and Katsume. 

'At least we made it a day without anyone dying.' Katsume said.

'I guess so. Did you forget about Atama. Last time we went to Minami Kasai we barely made it out alive..' 

'Oh. Them. Let's just hope we don't encounter them or it will probably be the death of one of us.' With that, they retired to their sleeping areas. Thinking about the adventure that was awaiting them the next day...
