-Sakura's POV-
"There you are Shadow!" I yell as I see Shadow walking back through the woods.

"Y-yeah. Wh-what ha-happened?" She asks.

"Kakashi-sensei got trapped, Sasuke and Naruto saved him. Then someone killed Zabuza and took his body away. Are you okay?" I ask walking up to her.

"Y-yeah. I w-was j-just th-thrown into S-some tr-trees and h-hit a wa-wall." She says then she slightly winces in pain. "I'm S-sorry Sak-Sakura."

"Why are you sorry?" I ask draping her arm around me and helping her walk while the boys carry Kakashi.

"I cou-couldn't prot-protect y-you." She says looking away.

"It's not your fault Shadow." I say smiling at her. Causing her to blush.

Does she like me?

Cha, she does!

Inner, you're lying. I like Sasuke, and Sasuke likes me. Right?

-Shadow's POV-
Oh my Kami! Sakura is helping me walk! Okay okay. Calm down Shadow. Remember what's going to happen! I've got to leave. I'll write her a note and confess to her. I'll leave when everyone is sleeping tonight. I nod to myself confirming my plan.

We arrive at Tazuna's house, a woman jesters us to follow her upstairs to treat Kakashi's wounds and mine. The boys carry Kakashi up ther stairs and lay him on a bed then follow us to the room she's going to look me over in. "Th-thank y-you M-miss." I stutter out.

Sakura sits me on the bed and then Sasuke sits with me while the woman looks at my injuries. "How many trees did you hit Shadow?" Sasuke asks.

"A-about 50 a-and a r-rock wa-wall." I say through our telepathy.

"What?!" Sasuke asks. "I don't understand how you can even move Shadow!" He says out loud. Everyone looks at us weirdly. I sigh and nudge him to explain. "I said that out loud didn't I?" He asks.

"Yeah. What was that about? Believe it!" Naruto shouts.

"We can you telepathy to talk to each other. It's a twin thing. She also said she went through about 50 trees and hit a rock wall." Sasuke explains.

"It's a wonder you're able to move at all." The woman said.

"C-can I b-be a-alone t-to re-rest?" I question.

"Yes, yes. Everyone out." She says.

Everyone walks out, Sasuke kissed my forehead before he left and Sakura gave me a gentle hug. Naruto gave me his famous smile. When everyone left I pulled out a few sheets of paper and started writing.

Dear Sakura-chan,
You know me as your secret admirer and such. By now I've already told you to your face that I love you. But I've been given orders to go Rouge. You cannot tell anyone this. I shouldn't even be telling you this, but I have to. I've been ordered to go Rouge while on this mission. So that's what I'm going to do. I will watch over you. And make damn sure nobody will hurt you. I love you Sakura, I hope that you'll forgive me for leaving.

Team Seven,
I'm going Rouge for reasons I wish not to tell you. I will see you all again. I just hope that when that happens, we won't be enemies. Get stronger all of you.

Sakura walked in as I finished my note to Team Seven. "Dinners ready. What do you have there?" She asks as I put the note away.

"N-n-nothing Saku-Sakura." I say quietly. She just says 'uh-huh'. "Ca-can I-I te-tell y-you som-something?"

"Of course you can Shadow." She says as she sits next to me. I turn to face her and she turns to face me.

I look into her beautiful emerald green orbs. I can get lost in these eyes forever. "Sa-Sakura... I..I...lo-love you..." I stutter out and look away blushing. It's quite for a few minutes.

'Oh no! Sa-Sasuke. Co-come he-here...'

'Why?'

'I-I co-confessed and n-now I-its j-just awk-awkward. Sh-she is-isn't so-speaking.'

-Sakura's POV-
I walk in and see her put a piece of paper away."Dinners ready. What do you have there?" I ask.

"N-n-nothing Saku-Sakura." She say quietly. I just say 'uh-huh'. "Ca-can I-I te-tell y-you som-something?"

"Of course you can Shadow." I say as i sits next to me. She turn to face me and I turns to face her.

She looks into my eyes and I look into her beautiful onyx ones. I can't help but get lost in her eyes forever. "Sa-Sakura... I..I...lo-love you..." She stutters out and looks away blushing.

Did she just say she loves me? But I love Sasuke, right? Then why do I feel so conflicted? Why can't I look away from her? She's so beautiful and kind. She even protected me from the demon brothers. I guess I really do like her.... do I love her?

Cha, you do! Stop trying to say you like Sasuke when you love Shadow! Make a move! Cha!

I put my hand to her face and tilt her head up. She blushes even darker. I lean in and kiss her on the lips really quick and look away blushing.

-Shadow's POV-
My eyes widen as she kissed me. She pulled away and looked away blushing. I quickly make her look at me and kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap my arms around her back and pull her closer. 'Do not come in' I tell Sasuke as I sensed his presence near the door.

I slid my tongue across her bottom lip asking for entrance and she allows. We fight for dominance and I win. Then the door opens and she pulls away. I pout then look at the door to see the culprit.

"Sasuke." I say in a very dangerous tone.

"Sorry Shadow. But I had to see what happened." He snickers. I stand up only to be pulled back down by Sakura.

She then whispers in my ear and I chuckle. We both stand up and crack our knuckles. "Uh, I'm sorry!" Sasuke yells running downstairs. We walk rather calmly after him.

"H-he a-asked f-for I-it." I stutter out. Sakura nods in agreement. We walk downstairs and see that Sasuke is sitting next to Naruto at the dinner table. We walk over to him and bonk his head.

"Ow!" He says rubbing his head then mumbles some stuff I didn't catch. Sakura and I sit next to each other. We eat in silence. I finish first and excuse myself.

"I ne-need t-to sp-speak t-to K-Ka-Kakashi-sensei." I say as I stand up. Sakura grabs my hand and pulls me down to her level. I kiss her cheek and stand up and walk away.

I don't want to leave now. I've got everything I've ever wanted. Stupid Gramps. Grr.

-Kakashi's POV-
Knock knock knock.

Someone knocks three times. "Come in." I mutter. Shadow walks in looking pretty beat up. "Shouldn't you be resting?" I question.

"No. I'm fine. How are you?" She asks without stuttering.

"I'll be fine. So what's up? You're not stuttering." I ask.

She hands me a folded up piece of paper and says. "I shouldn't tell you this. But I'm going to. Sasuke and Naruto cannot know. Lord Hokage gave me a mission to go Rouge. To collect information on the Akatsuki. I also have a note for Sakura explaining something's." She says.

"When do you leave?" I ask.

"I'm leaving tonight. If I stay any longer then it'll be harder to leave."

"I understand. Take care of yourself. I expect you to come visit me when you get a chance." I say back to her.

"You're second on my list." She says smiling.

-Shadow's POV-
I walked back into the room I'll be sharing with Sakura. Well until she falls asleep. I quickly changed into my tank top and shorts. Leaving my forearm warmers on for reasons. I pull my hair up into a high ponytail just when Sakura walks in.

"He-hello Sak-Sakura-chan." I say smiling at her. She blushes.

"Hello Shadow-chan." She says causing me to blush. "I'm going to change. I'll be right back." She says. I nod my head and put my stuff back into my scroll and sit on the bed.

She comes back out a few minutes later and sits next to me. I hug her and she hugs me back. I really want to cry but I can't do that. I have to stay strong.

"Shadow?" Sakura asks, I reply with a 'hmph?'. "Did you mean it? When you said you love me?"

"Y-yes. I-I me-mean it." I say smiling. She kisses me and I kiss back. She pushes me back into the bed and hovers over me. I grab her hips and pull her closer. She slides her tongue across my bottom lip asking for entrance. I part my lips for her and she explores. After a few minutes she breaks away for air. We're both panting.

"Le-let's g-go to sl-sleep." I suggest and she nods. She lays next to me and I wrap my arms around her.

"Goodnight Shadow-chan." She whispers.

"G-goodnight ai." I say back. I smile and I cuddle closer putting my face in her hair. Soon enough she's fast asleep. Her soft snores and steady breathing. She smells like bubblegum and cotton candy.

I quietly get out of bed, sure not to wake her. I take my Uchiha clan necklace off and write another note to Sakura.

Sakura-chan,
Keep this safe.

I lay both notes on the bed and wrap my necklace in the one. I get dressed quickly but quietly. I kiss Sakura's cheek and open the window. I take one last look at her and see her stir in her sleep. I jump out the window and start running. I slow down and start walking after a few minutes when I'm out of site of the house.

I take my head band off and take a kunai out and slash through the symbol. I hope I get a new one whenever I get back. I take one last look back and see Sakura and Sasuke chasing after me. Damn it. They should have stayed there.

"Hey imōto. We've been waiting." Itachi says appearing beside me.

"Uh... Sa-Sasuke and Sa-Sakura are lo-looking f-for me. I-I'll de-deal wi-with th-them and ca-catch up to y-you he-here in a f-few." I stutter out.

"Okay. Don't take long." He says. I nod my head. He then disappears as Sakura and Sasuke get closer.

"Shadow-chan!" Sakura yells as she runs to hug me. "Please don't leave." She whispers.

"Sakura, I already told you. It's a mission." I whisper back as I hug her.

"Shadow, where do you think you're going?" Sasuke asks.

"I've got to go onīsan. Just let me leave." I say quietly.

"No! Where are you going?" He demands. I let go of Sakura and walk over to him. I hug him and kiss his cheek.

"I'm sorry onīsan. I have to go. I can't tell you anymore then that." I say as I walk back to Sakura.

I peck her lips and cover her eyes. I look into Sasuke's eyes and activate my Sharigan and knock him out. He falls to the ground. "What did you do to him?" Sakura asks as I take my hands away.

I deactivate my Sharigan and look her in the eyes. "I knocked him out with my Sharigan. He'll be okay. Do you think you can take him back by yourself?" I ask.

"I believe I can. Please be careful wherever you go." She says as she kisses me passionately.

Someone clears there throats behind us, causing us to pull away. I look behind us to see Kisame. "Shadow, we have to go." Kisame says.

"If you want to live, I suggest you walk away now fish face." I say in a very deadly tone.

He throws his hands up in defeat and mumbles something about me being scarier the Leader-sama. Whoever he is. I turn back to Sakura and kiss her one last time. "I'll be watching you, and protecting you from a far. I love you."

"I love you too Shadow." She says hugging me.

"Oh, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto and Tazuna and them won't remember me. Only you and Kakashi-sensei. Sasuke will in his memories but I made him believe I died." She nods and picks him up.
