*a/n: byun baekhyun, le boy who wrecks ur fucking bias list. those hands, i swear. those mother fucking flawless hands will be the death of me.*

Inside the apartment, Nari was sat on the couch with a bowl of popcorn on her lap. She was watching a Korean drama and she looked up from her television when she heard the door open. Once again, she was acting normally now that the boy whose face she always covered with a pillow--whenever Narda made an appearance--was gone.

The foreign girl had forgotten that she was back in her apartment, thus having no more reason to pretend she was injured, and hobbled into the room. Nari eyed her with confusion before she asked with slight concern, "Why are you limping? Did you get hurt when you went out?"

Now she would have to keep the lie going in front of Nari as well. Nodding her head, Narda explained, "Yeah. Well, it was nothing really. A car hit me when I was about to cross the street--but just very lightly, so it wasn't too bad."

Nari gasped, jumping off her couch in surprise. "Oh my gosh! A car hit you? How can you say it was nothing? Are you okay?"

Just like Baekhyun had done at first, Nari took a few steps towards her flat mate, but stopped herself when she decided that she didn't want her losing her balance.

Narda nodded her head once more, grateful that even though Nari wanted her privacy in the apartment they shared, she was still a good enough person that she would worry for her well-being. "I'm fine. Thankfully it didn't happen too far from here. I was right across the street and the boy who hit me helped me get back to the apartment after he took me to his own apartment to get some ice for my leg. He was very polite."

"That's why I heard a second voice outside." Nari mused, more to herself than to her flat mate. The voice had sounded familiar to her and she had been close to getting the door to confirm who it was when Narda entered the apartment. "Well, make sure you get plenty of rest, so you can get better." She told the foreigner and then went back to watching her drama. Narda smiled at her and scurried back to her room.

Her emotions were almost spilling out of her like a cup filled to the brim with water. She had met her objective, she had met Byun Baekhyun.

-

Baekhyun was back in the dorm building within minutes of dropping Narda off at her apartment, and he returned to the lounge room where Chanyeol was once again playing video games. When he heard the door open, he paused his game, knowing that it was his room mate. Baekhyun said nothing as he walked across the room to the couch and plopped himself down on it tiredly. He threw his head back onto the back rest of the couch and closed his eyes, letting a sigh escape his lips.

"Did you really help the little liar return to her apartment?" Chanyeol asked with amusement evident in his tone. "Poor naive little Baekhyun."

"She was injured." Baekhyun said for the millionth time that day as his argument for helping the foreign girl he had met on the sidewalk in front of the dorm building, trying to reason with his friend. Remembering what had happened with her in the lounge room, he quickly added, "You weren't very nice to her. How could you ask her to take her pants off in front of us? Such a sick minded pervert." He pulled his head off the back rest of the couch and opened his eyes to look at Chanyeol.

A low chuckle made his way out of his lips as he replied, "I only told her that because I knew she would refuse. There clearly was no bruise to look at."

"How do you know?" Baekhyun eyed his room mate with suspicion.

"Because..." Chanyeol started as though it were obvious, "Do you remember who you are? She had to have known you and done it on purpose to get your attention."

"No." His room mate disagreed with a shake of his head. "She didn't know who I was. She was perfectly clueless."

"And then there's this." Chanyeol said, bringing something out of his pocket for Baekhyun to see. It was a white iPhone 5s that clearly didn't belong to him. He clicked on the home button and dangled the phone in front of his friend's face. "Exhibit A."

Right on the phone's lock screen was a picture of Guti, with two other girls. The three with smiling faces, and the familiar one of the three wore a black sweater with the letters EXO and the name Baek Hyun 04 on it. The kpop idol felt his mind being blown as the sudden realization hit him. Perhaps she really had done it all on purpose to get his attention. But one picture proved nothing. Maybe she had been so much in shock from being hit by a car that she hadn't recognized him.

"You didn't believe her, so you stole her phone?" Baekhyun asked. He was in between being convinced, and still being unconvinced.

Chanyeol placed the cellphone in his friend's hand. "It slipped out of her pocket when she tried making her hasty getaway. And she doesn't even keep it under a password lock. What if I would have stolen her phone, and then her identity?" He finished dramatically.

"So dramatic." Baekhyun rolled his eyes. Stuffing the phone into his own pocket he sighed, "I'll just return it tomorrow. You'll never guess where she lives."

"Where?" Chanyeol eyed him.

"Apartment 512, across the street." His room mate replied.

-

"Where the hell is my phone?" Narda yelled to no one in particular as she tipped over furniture and threw clothes all over the place in search of the vital item she had lost.

It was her life line to communicate with her family back home and it was gone. She didn't know their numbers by memory. The only relief she felt was that she knew she could recover them by logging in to her social media accounts.

As an idea came to her, she hurried to her laptop and picked it up. Her phone had a find my phone feature connected to it, and all she had to do was to log onto her apple account. She sat down on her messy bed and logged into the feature to find her phone. On her laptop screen she saw her location, and then another dot on the screen showed the location of her phone. SM Town Dorm Building. That was right across the street, where EXO and a few other SM Entertainment idols lived.

For the about the third time that day, Narda felt her heart drop.

Her phone didn't have a password lock and she feared that they would scroll through her phone. Just by looking at her lock screen, they would know that she was a fan of theirs.

She needed to get her phone back.

Desperate to prevent a tragedy from ruining her chances with Baekhyun--which she thought she actually had--she hit the sound alarm option. That would keep her phone's alarm going off non stop until she had it back in her hands and could shut it off within the phone.

All she had to do then was wait.

-

Back at the SM Town dorm building, the group of twelve boys were having dinner together. The sun had set in the sky and their blinds were open for the view of the city street lights that belonged to the other apartment buildings and skyscrapers nearby.

They were having Korean beef that afternoon--as expected every time it was Lu Han's turn to pay for dinner. It was his favorite and he had gone into town with Tao to get it for everyone.

The sound coming from Baekhyun's pocket started out low at first, but got louder as the seconds grew on and it was at a full volume. It was an annoying and constant ringing sound that filled the ears of the twelve boys having dinner in the lounge room. Covering his ears with his hands, Chanyeol shouted over the cellphone's loudness, "What is that sound?"

"I think its his cellphone ringing!" Tao said, also having to scream at the top of his lungs over the blaring alarm.

Baekhyun reached into his pocket for his cellphone and pulled it out to check on it. The screen was black and it didn't appear to be ringing. "Its not me!" Baekhyun told them.

"The other one!" Chanyeol suggested.

Baekhyun nodded and reached into the other pocket for the phone that belonged to the girl who had been with them that afternoon in the lounge room. He set it on the table in front of him and saw the screen flashing with an emergency message that read: This is a lost phone. If found, please return to Narda Gutierrez Lozano at 555 Chester Place, Los Angeles. Warning. Do not attempt to look through the contents of this phone. It is considered a blatant breach of privacy and may be punishable with jail time.

"Whose phone is that?" Suho asked, crinkling up his nose at the loud alarm coming from it.

"Turn it off or we'll all go deaf!" Chanyeol reached for the phone on the table and hit the power button. The phone refused to turn off and flashed another message. Alarm mode can only be turned off by using the owner's finger scan function. Realizing that the only way to get rid of the annoying noise was by returning it to its owner, Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyun's wrist and shoved the phone into his hand. "Go return it to that girl. Hurry."

"Why do you have a girl's phone?" Suho asked another question, but he was ignored by the two group members who knew anything about it.

With a groan, Baekhyun pushed his chair back and got up, leaving the lounge room to return the cellphone to its rightful owner.

-

Narda was sat outside her building on the front steps, watching people come and go, but none of them were the person she was looking for. She wore two sweaters and a jacket on top of them, but still felt the winter chill biting at her face. As she exhaled, what seemed like a cloud of smoke formed around her which indicated just how cold she really was. But she was determined to stay out there as long as she needed to.

In the distance, she could hear an alarm sounding and in the moonlight she spotted Baekhyun crossing the street accompanying the sound that got louder as he got closer to her.

When he finally reached her building, he was relieved to see her sitting outside. "I thought I was going to have to climb all those stars to your apartment." He said to her. Sticking his hand into his pocket, he grabbed her phone out and handed it to her quickly. "Take it. It started ringing at dinner and was driving us insane, Narda." He called her by her real name, instead of the name she had given when he asked what her name was.

The foreign girl pressed her thumb onto the home button for the finger scan option and her phone immediately went silent.

"Thank you." She nodded to him with slurred words, feeling her lips had gone numb in the cold. Looking down at her lock screen, and seeing the picture of her in her EXO sweatshirt with his name on it, she asked him, "My phone...Did you...look inside it?" Her eyes full of a nervous curiosity.

"No." He assured her. "That's private property. But I did see the picture on your lock screen which completely gives you away." He confessed with a sigh, and Narda knew she had been caught.

"Oh." Was all she could think to say.

"You know, if you wanted a picture with me, or an autograph, you could have just asked." He said to Narda, his words tinged with a hint of annoyance. Of course the life of an idol wasn't easy when thy had crazy fans following them around all the time. But to have someone pretend he had injured them just to get his attention was something he thought had gone way over the line of sanity. "There was no need to make a whole scene like that. I was genuinely worried about you. I even carried you up six flights of stairs. And then I ran around frantically getting you an ice pack. None of that mattered to you."

She shook her head, looking down at the pavement in embarrassment. "I felt really bad as soon as I saw how worried you looked--"

But he cut her off. "Save it, sasaeng."

He almost hoped that he had been mistaken, that Chanyeol was mistaken, but her apologetic words confirmed his room mate's suspicions.

Just when he thought that maybe he could find someone that could genuinely love him, someone who could take care of him, this happened. The complete opposite. A crazy sasaeng fan who was capable of going to extreme measures just to get close to him.
