+ epilogue

Narda's spirit had been broken and she didn't smile like she used to. She also kept her distance from EXO, and everyone that was associated with them. She became a solitary person, preferring to be alone to save herself the trouble and the drama. The school had found out about her arrest, and put her on probation, even when they found out the charges were dropped. They warned her that another misstep and they would fire her and send her back to her country.

All Narda did in the days following the incident was to go to work, and return home right after. She wouldn't even talk to her flat mate, who had found out what happened through gossip articles and she told Baekhyun he should be ashamed of himself.

A week after, she was greeted at the entrance of her apartment building by two police officers. They recognized her by the description they had been given and they stopped her.

"Are you..." He read her name off the paper he held in his hands. "Narda Gutierrez Lozano?"

She nodded her head silently.

They handed her a packet of papers with a stamp from the court of Seoul on them. They were in English and as she scanned them over, she got yet another break in her heart that had already taken a beating.

The police officers proceeded to explain exactly what was on the paper. "Mr. Byun Baekhyun has filed a restraining order against you. You are not to come within a hundred feet of him, if you don't want to be arrested and deported." It was all written there, what they said to her. Her eyes filled with hot tears that wanted to spill, but she forced herself to hold them in.

Her voice cracked as she argued, "He lives less than a hundred feet from my apartment."

"You can still live here." They told her. "But getting deliberately close to him would violate this restraining order and you would be in trouble."

They left her standing out on the sidewalk and walked away.

Narda sighed and once she was alone she finally let her tears spill. Her lip quivered without her being able to stop it and she brought her hands to her face, crying into them. When she was able to finally compose herself after a moment, she caught someone watching her across the street. It was Baekhyun, who wore a look of pity on his face upon seeing her cry like that.

She swallowed her pride and shot him a glare with so much resentment before entering her apartment building.

"If that's the way you want it, Byun, then fine." She said to no one in particular.

In that moment, her hurt and her pride were stronger than the love she had for him, and she wasn't sure if she'd be able to forgive him. If he wanted to be ignored, she would ignore him.
