You stop to admire me;

a small giggle slips your lips.

You stop to stare at me, carefully slipping your hand away.

"What?"

I ask, slightly disappointed, feeling your warmth get away.

You sit on one knee,

A gem peeking from your pocket.

You lovingly take my hand,

And slips in the ring.
