EZRA'S POV:

I ran as fast as I could and heard Nikolai's laugh matching with mine. Fucker, i was going to get Sarai this time, not him. I showed him my middle finger chuckling as I reached her sleeping figure first. We both shushed each other at the same time not wanting to wake her up from her little nap. Shit, she was beautiful. Now that she was outside, the sun was casting a beautiful light on her face. Her long hair were sprawled on the grass and a few little hair were covering her face.

Nikolai patted my back snapping me out of whatever spell i was under and snickered looking at my lost expression. What were we doing here?

"Are you picking her up or should I? Because I'm quite eager zebra.", I glared at him after hearing his question. Hell no, I was going to pick our girl this time. And wait! What did he call me? Zebra? Again?

I turned towards him slowly ready to punch his face but I don't want to burst my knuckles, i like my hand soft and smooth.

"I'll shove your knife up your ass one day, mark my words.", I growled but before he could reply and we could bicker, Sarai moved and whimpered.

Caroline had left us alone when she saw us coming towards them but I saw Hayden telling her something. We all will know about it soon so I wasn't worried about that. Nikolai and I both sat down on the grass as we saw Sarai whimpering and swatting the grass stuck on her arm away.

My hand had a mind of its own as it went ahead to remove the grass away from her fragile arms. I put my one hand under her head once every piece of grass was away from her and second under her knees. With absolutely no force, she was in my arms coddled into my chest while her every breath tickled the skin of my chest where my shirt buttons were open.

I could hear Nikolai whistling a tune just to get on my nerves but what he didn't know was that it didn't do anything to me. All I could feel was peace with this little angel in my arms. But what concerned me was her weight which was so light that I couldn't even feel it properly in my arms. I hate to see her like this and ever since I got to know that she has been abused, she started looking more scared and weak to me.

"I'll send Caroline soon.", He said making me nod. Heading upstairs towards her room, I kicked it open softly. Her bed was already made and I laid her in the centre of it. Her small frame looked smaller than before as she snuggled deeper into the sheets. I covered her with the blanket and pulled it upto her neck. Next, i pulled away those stray hair hiding her face from me and put them behind her ear.

"Beautiful.", I couldn't help but murmur. I looked up from my beautiful sight when Caroline silently entered into the room. She bowed in front of me making me give her a nod. She looked at Sarai with love shimmering in her eyes. It was clear that she loved her a lot but did she know what had happened to Sarai and who did it?

"Caroline, call us when Sarai wakes up.", I told her gently. I didn't want to scare the old lady more than what Hayden has already done. She gave me a meek nod joined with 'yes sir' and I made my way outside but not before giving a glance towards the sleeping angel.

My phone rang as soon as I put my foot outside the room and I cursed silencing it. I looked back into the room to check if this fucking phone call accidentally woke her up but thankfully she was still out like a light. We had got her checked by a female doctor when she was sleeping. She had changed her medicines and also put some important vitamins etc after looking at her. She had also told us something that we are still trying to process. There was a medicine in her medical box and the doctor had clearly said that it didn't belong to the fake vitamin box.

We had sent the pills to a laboratory for testing yesterday night after talking about it and the results will be sent to us by tomorrow morning. We all were curious about Sarai's past life. There were parts that were missing and one of the major thing was her blindness. If she was blind since birth she should've been using Braille for writing but when Caroline told us that she could write using notebook and pen, it shocked us.

Caroline doesn't know how Sarai can write because when she was hired, Sarai could talk and write but she was blind. My head felt like bursting with all these fucking theories and I decided to go take a shower. Shit, I forgot about my phone. I pulled it out still walking towards my room to take a shower. 'Ass' was showing on the screen with a shit emoticon. What does this Nikolai need know?

"NIKOLAI, WHAT DO YOU NEED?", I shouted standing outside his room and laying a few punches on his door. His door colour was yellow, ew. I dusted off my hands and arms with disgust written on my face. Atleast I didn't have to worry about Sarai waking up as her room was quite far away and sound proof.

The door in front of me opened as I was midway removing my shirt. I hate dirt and everything on me was now dirty. I hadn't taken a bath since morning and I was getting irritated now.

"Fucking hell! WHY ARE YOU ALMOST NAKED?", He shouted turning away from me. I was still wearing boxers, idiot.

"I've a good body and I like to show it off.", I replied as if it wasn't the most common knowledge.

"Why did you call me? Sarai could've woken up and then she would've been scared!", I grumbled kicking his butt from behind. But when I saw his pet knife in his hand, I decided to run. He growled like an animal before launching behind me. I saw Balze laughing and I flicked him off. It made him cheer louder and pull out his phone to record us.

"GO NIKOLAI! YOU CAN KILL HIM!", He shouted and I had the sudden urge to strangle him. Thankfully I saw my room's door and i picked up some speed. Bargung inside your own room and removing it from his hinges wasn't my idea but I ended up doing it. Well, Nikolai didn't know that as he was still murmuring things and breathing heavily outside my broken door.

"I'll pull every limb out of you, remember this Ezra! THERE'S A MEETING AT 9, COME PREPARED, YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!", He shouted and i mimicked him from inside blabbering just like him. When I was sure that he was gone, i sat down on my bed and pressed the red button repeatedly. These fucking maids are always late, I'm going to drown one of them in my bathtub today. No, that is nasty, maybe in the swimming pool. Yes, there.

"Tudu!", The door fell off as Blaze laughed now sitting on it. I looked at him trying to understand how that shitty brain worked as he rolled over it with tears escaping his eyes. He pulled out his phone and played the video making my lips twitch. It was funny but not that funny to roll around laughing.

"Sir, s-ir. We are sorry.", A line of maids stood outside my room while Blaze clutched his stomach heaving.

He got up, dusted his pants and exited the room as if he wasn't laughing right here in my room a second ago.

I looked at my staff or should I call them incompetent?

"You see that broken door?", I asked them and they nodded trying to control their fear.

"Who put the hinges last time?", I asked and motioned two of them to go to the bathroom. The sound of the running water made me nod to myself.

"WHAT DID I ASK!", I thundered loudly making the lady at first cry out.

"S-ir, it was the guard who stands outside.", She replied and I nodded.

"Bring him here after half an hour.", I told her and moved towards my bathroom. I hope when I come out the door was repaired.

The two maids looked down and went to stand in a corner as I removed my boxers. Sitting inside the warm bath is one of the things that I love. My brain usually worked on my business but now I can only focus on Sarai. Nothing else came to my mind and I sighed closing my eyes.

"Out.", I ordered and got up from the tub after few minutes. My dick was throbbing and if it was anyday before we found Sarai, i would've called the maid to suck me off but this time I just find myself unable to do so. This also means that my hand would have to do all the work now.

SARAI'S POV:

"Sarai, it's okay. You are safe.", Again that nightmare. My head throbbed painfully as I tried to sit down on the gr...bed. When did I reach here?

A whimper left my lips as I tried to hold my head. Caroline was telling me to breathe. I was breathing, wasn't I? It's just that my head is hurting but I'm breathing.

Next thing I felt was being picked up into some strong arms. I hate being touched but this person wasn't hurting me. I was safe and he smelt nice. I buried my face into the solid chest which was oddly comforting while the person rubbed my back. My head was still throbbing but no one was shouting now. The nightmare was also over and i was safe.

"You are doing so good Sarai. Just like that. Breathe deeply.", The voice was now clear. A man was talking to me and soothing me. He was a man..men always hurt me. My rigid body fought in his hold and maybe he could read my scared face and therefore left me.

"Sarai! Stop it!", His voice was stern. I know this voice. He's Satan. What should I stop? He will hurt me if I don't stop but what am i doing?? My brain was spiralling as I tried to control whatever I was doing unintentionally. Men hurt me when I don't obey. I curled my fingers in fists trying to stop my arms from shaking.

"I'm s--sorry. I'm sorry.", I couldn't help but cry out some words. I was apologising. I haven't talked in years. I don't even know if he got what I was saying but for my sake i hoped he got it. I don't want him to hurt me.

"Sarai, there's nothing to apologise for. You were hurting yourself love. Shh..you didn't do anything wrong, my brave girl.", His words were opposite to what I had expected. But a girl should never trust these animals. They all are the same, always ready to hurt the weak. And girls are the weakest in their eyes.

"Sarai, here have some water.", Caroline said as she touched the glass with my lips. I didn't open up my hands to touch the glass as they were still shivering. The water tasted bad but I didn't say anything about it. I don't want to be punished.

"Sarai, shh.. everything is okay. You are such a precious baby. Come on, open up those fists love. You are hurting yourself.", This time another voice was there. It was Victor's. I immediately obliged and opened up my fists. I was scared but i also wanted to hear the praise. If they are praising me then that means they will not hurt me, right?

"We have brought a gift for you sweetness. Do you want it?", Ezra's voice was the smoothest and it made me feel less intimidated. Do I want a gift? No. But I didn't say that. I didn't move when I heard little sounds coming from below the bed. What is it? A ghost? My face paled as something wet touched my hand making me squeal and rub it on my dress. My face turned red as i heard a little bark and then two whining sounds. Puppies? Is my gift puppies?

Something soft jumped into my lap and a foreign sound left my mouth. A giggle. I petted the lovely creature as it jumped and licked. Another fur ball was kept in my arms but this one was lazy and snuggled up in my stomach making me giggle again. I petted them both rubbing their furrs as they both made cute noises.

"You like them sweetheart?", Nikolai asked and I nodded enthusiastically. I heard them sigh and my hands stiffened. Once i was sure they weren't going to hurt me or anything, i again started playing with the puppies as they both barked and played with my fingers. And then I realised that I loved my gift.

"Come on love, it's past lunch time. You need to eat.", Blaze's voice was hoarse but not in a bad way.

"I'm going to help you off the bed. I'll not touch you and I'm not going to hurt you.", He said giving me instructions and i sat there trying to make myself understand that I need not to be scared. Everyone was here except the man who speaks the least. His name was Hayden. He scares me a lot.

I patted the corner of the bed and put my feet down on the floor. I could feel all of them near me waiting to catch me if I fell. I got up without their help but my shame increased when I couldn't put my feet in my slippers.

"Let me help you.", It was Nikolai and a feather like touch was there on my ankle making me lose my balance. But the strong hands immediately held my shoulders.

"Easy there.", Hayden was here too and it made me more scared. I squirmed under his hold trying to breath through my nose and mouth both. His hands left me right then and I decided to move myself from there. The little paws followed me as i slowly moved towards the bathroom. I touched the walls trying to remember where the door is and finally after a few painful moments, i located it.

I could hear all of them talking and then there was Caroline's voice too. I stood inside the bathroom immobile waiting for Caroline to instruct me where to go. The door to my room was shut and then there was silence except Caroline's light footsteps coming towards the bathroom.

They haven't hurt me yet but I'm not sure how long it will go like this. They are strong and I'm weak...useless without eyesight. My depressing thoughts came to a stop when the dogs started whining and making sounds.

"I'm not hurting your Sarai, boys. Calm down.", Caroline laughed making my lips lift up. Today was the first day i smiled and talked after that. But i know this won't last long and before these men hurt me, i need to get out of here.
