Sarah Weasley- A new beginning

A/N- Hey people, new account. First book, most of it is already written. I created this account to let other people read it. So here it is, I hope you like it! :)

"I can do this", I thought to myself as I stared at the barrier ,,, please, I thought. I felt something strange. It was like I was a ghost, swiftly gliding through a wall. I stopped, as I opened my eyes. It was marvelous.

Thousands of wizards and witches walking their children onto the most magnificent sight I had ever come across. "The Hogwarts Express", I read quietly to myself. The train was beautiful. It was red, gold, and silver. The windows were plentiful, as there was one in every compartment. The wheels looked older, but still in tact. In short, I have never seen anything so amazing.

As I was looking admiring the express, Rose, my older sister, stepped beside me.

"The inside is better", she said, although I couldn't believe her. My dad, mom, and brother walked up to us.

"Think this is cool? Wait until you see Hogwarts", said my brother, Hugo.

"Come on now, Sarah, you need to board quickly, as do you two", said Mom. I was searching for where to board, and I noticed a lot of people looking at mom and dad.

"Mom, why are they all looking over at us?", I asked.

"We will tell you when you are older, but for now, you better go say bye to Uncle Harry", she said, pointing to a man with jet black hair, flashing green eyes, and a peculiar lightning scar on his forehead.

"Uncle Harry! Aunt Ginny!", I yelled, running to hug my aunt and uncle.

"Sarah, how nice to see you!", said Aunt Ginny,

"Excited for your first year at Hogwarts?".

"I think", I said with a gulp. She laughed quietly.

"Your mother was the same way, and she turned out to be the smartest of us all", she said with a smile. I smiled back.

"Hello, Sarah", said Uncle Harry.

"Hello, uncle Harry!", I said. I couldn't help but notice that people were staring. I was starting to feel uncomfortable, and I think he noticed. I heard a whistle sound.

"Hurry, get on the train, quickly now!" Said aunt Ginny, helping me through the crowd. As we neared the boarding post, I gave her a quick hug.

"Lily's near the middle", she said. Lily is my favorite cousin. Apart from Cedric Longbottom, my best friend, she is the one I hang out with.

"Thanks" I said quickly, before I darted into the train. "Wow" I said. It was more amazing inside. There were compartments every few yards. The roof was high enough for seventh years, and most adults, too. I suddenly felt a strong jerk, as I fell onto the floor.

"Ugh", I groaned, as I was sitting up. I heard a snicker, as I looked up, and I swear my heart stopped. I was looking at what had to be the cutest boy on the train. His blonde hair, almost bleached, combed to perfection. Not a blemish on his face. No tan, no freckles. Just, perfect.

"Eh hem" , someone cleared their throat. I snapped out of my day dreaming to see none other then Cedric Longbottom. I quickly got up.

"I, uh", I started.

"Come on, Sarah.", he said, grabbing my hand and leading me further into the moving train. It was quiet, as he wasn't talking to me. He lead me into a empty compartment. "First of all, you were nearly late, secondly, that was Scorpius Malfoy. Stay away from him." , he said.

"But why?", I asked.

"Because his dad is Draco Malfoy, who not only was our parents enemy, but also was a Death Eater." He said.

"Death Eater?" I asked. It seemed I had heard that somewhere, but I couldn't place it.

"Nothing, just stay away from him." He said firmly, ending the conversation.

I looked out the window for what felt like hours. It could have been, I wasn't sure. All I was sure of was that he is upset with me. What did I do though? Question of the day, I thought to myself. I sighed. How could I stay away? Well, he did snicker at me. But he didn't make a rude comment, so he can't be so bad. I daydreamed about him for a while, almost drifting off.

"I'm not mad at you", he said. I continued staring out the window. This seemed to be the wrong choice to do, as he got his bags and left, leaving me alone. I quickly changed into my robes, as we would be there soon. As I sat back down I heard the door open.

"Anything off the trolly, dear?" I heard someone ask as I turned around.

"No thank you" , I replied, as I didn't bring much money. She closed the door as she went to the next compartment.

I wondered what happened to Cedric. I need to find him, we are almost there, I thought. I began to get up and grabbed my bags, which included my owl, Jamie. As I walked out the compartment door, I wondered where they could be.

Lily's in the middle compartment, I remember hearing. So I walked, and walked, and walked until I got onto the middle area of the train. I peeked into each compartment, looking for Lily. "Compartment 83, not Lily, 84, not Lily, 85" I stopped talking. I found Cedric, but not in the way expected. He was in a compartment with Lily, and Malfoy. I was dumbstruck.

What do I do? I could leave, and be alone. Or I could go in, and make a fool of myself. I sighed.

I started to walk away, but something caught my eye. It was a boy, very handsome, but somewhat familiar. How could he be familiar, I thought to myself, I don't know any other first years. I took one more glance before returning to my seat. ~End of chapter one~
