Chapter II Twins Share More Than Looks

Chapter II
Twins Share More Than Looks

Please note, the next few chapters are set before the ending of the last book.

"Sarah? Sarah! Please wake up!" I head Jareth shouting over me. When I opened my eyes, I could see the worry on his face. At first I thought he was waking me from Karen knocking me out... but then I saw the light mark left where a scar should be from the battle for the Labyrinth. It was real.
"Jareth? Where am I?" I asked, dazed. I could feel the bang on the head from the bat.
Before he answered, Jareth pulled me in to a hug and kissed me. When he pulled away he rest his forehead on my own.
"Your in the castle, in our room. God Sarah you almost scared me to death."
"What?" I asked, pulling away and looking at him confused.
"Sarah... You died..." He said in thar tone of voice that was like, 'wait? You didn't know you died a moment ago?'
"WHAT!" I shouted a little to loud because I saw him flinch slightly.
"You were tossing and turning, like you were having a nightmare. I tried to wake you but suddenly, you just went still. I checked your life signs and... you died." He explained slowly, so I could take it all in.
I stared at him for a moment with an expression I could only imagine was bewilderment.
"Then... how am I..." I stopped, still too surprised to say it.
"Alive?" I nodded and he smiled at the corners of his mouth. "Well, I couldn't bring you back, my magic does have boundarys. But I felt a tug in my stomach, same as the one I felt in the last moments of The Battle For the Labyrinth. After that, part of me just knew... that you were alive."
I smiled and kissed him again, pulling his head down to deepen the kiss, he pushed me against the mattress.
I felt a warm swirling feeling in my stomach and, Jareth must have felt it too because he smiled against my lips.
Ever since the end of The Battle For the Labyrinth, when I had first used the magic it turned put I had, me and Jareth had this... bond. We could allways sence what eachother were feeling, I could block Jareth from reading my mind at his will, but I did not worry too much about that as he never did that anyway. He respected my privercy. Well, he did do it, but only too see what I was thinking when we... eah.... anyway. I also had magic over the Labyrinth now. I could move and change the walls and fixtures as I wanted. I could summon crystals like Jareth, and he was teaching me how to contact juggle as he had when we first met. Everything was amasing since we retook control.
Jareth pulled away and kissed the top of my forehead, smiling at me, then standing and helping me off of the bed. We were having lunch in the gardens with his family today to an ounce our engagement, which unfortunately meant... posh dresses.
I had been wearing an outfit close to Jareth seams as we, as side from the goblins who didn't really mind, were the only ones in the castle. But today, I had to wear an actual dress... with a corset and everything.
Jareth must have seen the expression on my face because he laughed lightly and wandered off into the wardrobe, me at his flank.
When we were inside, Jareth picked out a dress I had worn before, many times, it was my favourite. The green one with the floor long sleves that were open at the shoulder.
I smiled as he passed it me and he walked over to where his clothes were kept, kissing me on the cheek as he went by. We had started sharing the same room, so we figured, why not share the wardrobe aswell.
I got the dress on, but for the life of me couldn't do the laces on the back.
"Here... allow me." I heard the voice I loved behind me.
"What would I ever do without you?" I asked, looking over my shoulder at him.
He glanced up from the laces and smirked at me. "Crash and burn."
The worst part being, it was probably true.
Then it hit me. "Jareth?"
"Yes love?" He said, eyes fixed on the laces he was tieing so perfectly.
"How is it you know how to do a corset?"
He laughed and finished the laces, tapping the side of his nose and wandering back to the other side of the room. "Just be glad I do, or you'd be stuck." He laughed again.
I grinned and walked teasingly over.
"Oh I know." I said to wind him up.
"Do you now?" He said in a tone to match my own, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me in close.
"You learned from experience. From the thousands of women before me." I teased and he stopped. Looking at me shocked, as if he didn't know what to say. And then replied.
"What women?" He said in a voiced mixed of shock and confusion.
"Your over one thousand years old Jareth... There must have been women before me..." I said, eaquily confused.
He shook his head. "There was only ever you love."
I stared blankly at him for a moment. No other women? I was his first?
"My first, my one, my only, my last." He said, placing his hand on my cheek and brushing it with his thumb.
I smiled and kissed him again.
We pulled away so I could put my shoes on, thankfully because of the grass they were flats, and left for breakfast.

We walked into the main hall and were greeted by Ruby and Gareth. They had stayed here since The Battle For The Labyrinth. They were stood over the opposite side of the room from eachother.
Still pretending I see.
I heared Jareth laugh in my mind.
Nah, they just weren't sure who was coming through the door.

They turned towards us and Ruby ran over to me and gave me a hug. She was right when I first met her. We had become the best of friends since she became human. She was alleays asking my help as to human things because she wasn't used to it.
When Ruby pulled away she tilted her head towards Gareth.
"Will you please set him straight." She said in a jokingly annoyed tone. I looked up to Gareth and he gave me that look where he thought he knew somthing.
"No Gareth." I said blatantly. We'd had this conversation milion of times. Every time he saw me he thought the same thing.
"What ever you say Sarah." He grinned and Jareth laughed next to me.
I looked at Ruby, who looked back at me.
Ribs? I asked her in mind.
Ribs. She confirmed.
I smiled and lunged at Gareth. Turns out, Jareth and Gareth not only looked the same, but they had the same ticklish spots.
He swat my hands playfully away, trying to get me to stop. I could head Ruby and Jareth laughing behind us, but I had a point to make.
"I'm not pregnant Gareth." I said matter fo factly.
He swatted at me again and this time, I let go. "Ok, ok. I tale your word for it."
I stepped back and Gareth hunched over, out of breath.
I walked over to Ruby and she gave me a high five.
Jareth wrapped his arm around my waist laughing, and kissed me lightly.
We walked over to the to the table and sat, discussing wedding details over breakfast.
