The Lost Dementor

>POV SEVERUS<
Sarah was up in her bedroom, writing letters to her friends. I was really bored for instance, I can't last another day. Wait, the Firewhiskey! Oh... but I can't drink in the house with Sarah around... It'd be TOO dangerous. But I think I can use a locking charm on my door....

I ran to my bedroom and put 4x of the locking charm on the door knob.  I began to gulp on my drink... Hah, this is the life.

>POV SARAH<
I was in my room, lying on the bed while writing my letters. I was done with Rose's and Mia's so I started Albus'.

Dear Albus,
Hi! How's your summer there? I hope it's doing well. Do you have any date of when your going to Diagon Alley? I'm having fun here at dad's, pretty cool once you've explored around. Also, I heard that you bought a new wand? Cool! I'll see you soon then!

Sarah.
P.S. Tell Lily Luna I made her what she requested!

I sealed the letter inside a envolope and delivered Mia's first. Since she was pretty near around here, "Silver!" I called my owl as she landed on my window. I told her where to deliver it clearly and went inside my room.

>THIRD PERSON<
Sarah lied down her bed again and sighed deeply. She stared at Albus' letter and tried to ignore the fact that maybe... no. She ran a hand through her hair calmly and sat down her bed cross-legged. She heard a thump from downstairs and sighed. "Dads drinking again..." she said in annoyance and went to see him. She knew he always uses the Locking Spell, and knocked on the door. "Dad?..." she shouted, he hesitated on opening the door and hid the empty bottle. "DAD!" she roared and kicked the door open, he looked at her with wide-eyes.

"Alright. This time, I'm gonna hide your precious Firewhiskey from you. I'm gonna go to a friend of mine, so I expect that house isn't burned down when I come back." she said and slammed the door back. Severus rolled his eyes and stood up weakly to go to his bedroom.

Sarah knew a half-blood witch her age that lived in Spinner's End too. She knocked on the door and opened a girl around her age. "Hi Emma." Sarah greeted her, the girl name Emma attended another wizarding school, but they both remained friends. "You want to go to the old playground around here? I heard not much muggles go there." Emma told Sarah and dragged her to the place. They stopped at a muggle playground and decided to play on a muggle instrument called a seesaw.

"So, hows your term been?" Sarah asked as she moved upward then landed down, "well, not really great. I had a dentention for a month just because I punched my enemy, but... I guess it's pretty fun too. You -?" Emma replied, but they both stayed silent when a rustling noise came out of nowhere. They stopped the seesaw, and stood up. "Wands ready..." Sarah muttered, they both pulled their wands out and walked in circles, back to back.

Emma suddenly gasped as a dark-hooded figure appeared in front of her. "Emma!" Sarah shouted, and pushed her aside so the dark-creature was facing her. Sarah was suddenly fealing... weaker... and weaker.... her world was dissolving and she felt like happiness was being drained. Her soul was like being pulled out...

She couldn't do anything. Not even a spell, what is this? But in a split second, Sarah was knocked out, as though she fainted.

But a figure stood before her. And yelled; "Expecto Patronum!" A light appeared from the tip of the wand and out came a silver doe. The creature dissapeared. "Sarah!" the figure said and grasped onto her. It was Severus. A few moments later and he brought her back to the house.

"Dad?" she muttered weakly, "sorry, Professor Snape, I couldn't do any-"

"It's alright, Ms. Brown. It's done... I think." Snape said, Sarah was suddenly realized she was in her room. "How-...?" she asked, "I carried you here since you were knocked out." Severus replied, arching an eye brow at her, but Sarah was still confused. "What was that?" she asked, Severus hesitated of answering, but thought it was best to say what is was.

"A Dementor." Sarah tilted her head in confusion. "What does it do?" she asked, Severus turned to Serena. "Dementors are guards of Azkaban. If anybody stands in their way, they either suck the happiness out of you, OR the Dementor's kiss. The Dementor's Kiss sucks out the soul of the target, but their all suppose to be in Azkaban..." Emma replied, her voice trailing off, "but why are they here if they're suppose to guard Azkaban?" Sarah asked, she turned to Emma who just gave her a I-don't-know-either look.

"Wait. I did hear from Minerva about something..." Severus said, thinking hard of what he heard. Then he snapped making them realize he found it. "Aha! Thats it! Minerva told the staff... that we dementors will be placed at Hogwarts... since there is something going around." Severus replied and stared at the window. "But it's a surprise that you fainted Sarah, and not Ms. Brown." Severus said and touched Sarah's forehead to feel her temperature. "Here. Eat. Lupin told me a bar of chocolate can cure a Dementor Attack." he said as he snapped a bar of chocolate and gave it to Sarah.

She sniffed it a bit then ate the whole thing, the bar was quite small. "How do we keep them away, sir? Like how you did?" Emma asked, curiously. "That, I will teach Sarah at Hogwarts. I think Beauxbotons doesn't allow their student's to perform magic outside grounds either. But what I know is the Patronus Charm. It will repel any Dementor from a attack, do you still remember of what I told you about a Patronus, Sarah?" he said, "Of course." Sarah replied and sat on the bed frame of her bed.

"Well, I must recommend you of resting, Sarah. Perhaps I shall call the Ministry about this... Dementors..." Severus said as he escorted Emma to the door. Silver came in the room and landed beside Sarah's window. She was wearing her necklace.

"I saw what happened back there. Are you alright?" Silver asked, Sarah nodded and patted the owl gently. "I am. How about you, did you deliver Albus' letter already?" Sarah said. "Yes. It was also a shock to Muggles when a white snow owl was flying carrying a letter." Silver replied, making Sarah chuckle.

They had a conversation for hours and hours, until Sarah felt like sleeping. She skipped dinner and dozed off for at least 10 hours and woke up 8 in the morning.
