I woke up today with a slightly loud yawn and stretched my hands up so high it reached the top of my bed. I've been doing my homework last night so I don't have anything to worry about for the weekend! Wait.... this means... Omygosh, Omygosh, Omygosh, todays the Quidditch Tryouts!

Albus told me that they (Gryffindor Quidditch Team) were finding a new Chaser and Seeker, and I guess I always fancy of being apart of the team! I rummaged through my trunk to find my clothes and skidded to the shower. I casted a locking spell and had my shower for at least 5-6 minutes.

I came out of the shower already dressed, and grabbed my Nimbus 2000 plus my wand. After I put my hair in a high ponytail, I found Albus in the common room, sitting on his chair. "Let me guess. You were waiting for me, weren't you?" I said, he gave me a smirk, "yeah, I did. Now let's go down to the Great Hall, THEN we can practice."

I pulled him down the marble staircase and into the great hall. I wasn't really the foodie so I ate at least 2 pieces of bacon and some toast. Oh, did I mention Albus was Gryffindor's keeper? He's pretty good! But still, I can't wait, I remember out-flying his Firebolt.

As we marched to the Quidditch Field, we both practiced a bit. He had a tiny snitch that he borrowed from the team captain, for me to use as a practice. We did around 9 takes, and it only took me about 2-4 minutes to catch the little rascal. I always seem to surprise Albus after every catch. "You're a natural!" he complimented, as I mounted off my broom and took a bow.

I remember that the tryouts are around 2pm, so we tried to occupy ourselves. I kept on chasing the snitch, as Albus was reading a book. But then I realized, did I actually pull a prank on Albus yet? Wait, I still got enough Amorentia! Haha, yahass, maybe I can put it on him... then make him fall in love with.... the first girl he sees? I can stick with that! I just need to request dad for the indgredients, and I am good to prank! I can even ask Peeves to help me...

"Sarah? Earth to Sarah!" Albus shouted at my face, waving his arm. "Let's eat lunch! Rose told me she can let you borrow the Quidditch Through The Ages book, before we start tryouts!" He added and brought me to the Great Hall as I snatched the Snitch to my hand.

We found Rose sitting, waving a book, as we sat down. "Here." she said and gave me the book. "Cool..." I said, flipping each page to the other. I was eating while reading, which makes me hard to focus, but I still got on track. After an hour of almost finishing the book it was already time for Quidditch Tryouts.

My heart was pumping as though I'm having a heart attack. God, help me, I don't want to die on the broom.

"Welcome tryouters!" Roxanne Weasley announced. Albus turned beside her and winked at me, making me loosen my worries. "Today. We will find one of the best Seekers and Chasers here right now. We will tell you the person that gets the spot tomorrow, so prove yourself! We have a good team of Quidditch for over the years, and we are not letting that die! So let the tryouts begin! Seeker first..."

I saw some people gulped or sweat when Roxanne said Seeker first, I think I did the same too. "Is that a Nimbus 2000? Cool!" a boy complimented, I gave him a smile then sat on one of the bleachers. "Beatrice Sanchez and Virgo Clearwater!"

A girl with long blonde hair stepped up, then another girl with short brown hair stepped up too and did their part. Beatrice was not too bad if she was sweating so much that she almost fell off her broom.

"Matthew Wood and Daniel Flint!" a boy stepped up with brown hair with a black-haired boy and did the same of finding the Snitch while the others play, Matthew was pretty good to say so myself. "Sarah Lily Snape and Serena Finnigan!" Roxanne shouted, everybody turned to look at us and I gave them a nervous smile.

Calm yourself, if you get nervous you'll just end up bad. Inhale... Exhale... Inhale... Exhale... Good. You can do this!

I mounted my broom and lept to the air. After the Snitch was released, my eyes followed it. Then the whistle blew, I flew up to the highest I can go to find the little piece of gold and watch the players. Serena was really good, but I call her arrogant since she loves to do much tricks on her broom and not even focus on the game.

As I saw a glimpse of gold, I quickly zoomed towards it. Serena also tried to catch it until we were neck on neck. "May the best win?" I muttered, "hah, I got this." she said and stretched out her arm. But the Snitch went downwards for a 30-feet dive. Serena was too chicken to dive but I followed the Snitch. I guess Serena hesitated but dared to do the same. I noticed the Snitch was getting close to the ground, Serena on my left quickly stopped.

As for me, I know that "the Snitch would never smash to the ground". I pulled on a bit of stops, and the Snitch stopped a meter to the ground and zoomed straight. I was really close! And in a split second, i felt something in my hand...

I CAUGHT IT!

Albus was back there cheering. Rose and Mia were jumping up and down, and I couldn't stop smiling. "Good job, mate." Said Roxanne who gave me a thumbs-up from her broom. I turned to Serena and told her: "you were great too." she mouthed back 'thanks.'

I dragged my body out of the field and stopped to see dad coming to me. "I saw you down there. Nice performance." He said, as I hugged him. "I see the Nimbus 2000 was worth it." I replied, making him smile. "I'll see you later?" I muttered in his ear, he just gave me a wink and strided down to the dungeons.

"Heyo Snapey!" Peeves said, I smiled to him then gave a laugh. "Been pranking Filch I believe?" I said, he gave a eager nod then gave a cackle. "Flooded his office!" he answered, "wait how about-"

"Norris? I tried to drown her. But Filch came in after a few minutes while she was underwater." Peeves finished. "I'll see you at dinner, Peeves!" I said running towards the common room. "See ya, pranking partner!" he said and gave another cackle, which echoed throughout the whole hall.
