Like Father, Like Daughter
"What a beautiful father-daughter reunion." Delphini muttered through gritted teeth. "So what if daddy is here? What change will it do? Both of you are nothing but cowards against the daughter of the Dark Lord himself!" Severus whipped his wand out and threw a spell angrily, to cause Delphini's grip on Sarah to loosen. "I don't care who you are, but don't you dare call my dad a coward again!" Sarah kicked her feet towards the witch's stomach and wriggled out. Severus ran towards her and pushed her aside, leaving her behind him with a hand outstretched. "Get out! Call the staff! I don't want you hurt!" he ordered her. Her black eyes snapped at his and they looked threatening, especially from a girl. "I won't allow to loose any one I love in my life anymore!" he shouted.
"Isn't this just sweet? Crucio!"
"Argh!" Severus pushed Sarah aside for her to land on the wet floor. "Avada Kedavra!"
"You can't kill me, Snape! This won't end! I need that locket!" Delphini bellowed hungrily. Sarah noticed that her arm was just inches from the Hat, and she quickly grabbed it. She raised her arm, aiming it to the locket and tried to smash it. "You fool! Get away!"
"Why. Won't. It. Break?!" She exclaimed, punching the locket to the ground repeatedly. "Stop! No!" Delphini shot a spell towards Sarah and horrible pain travelled through her body within seconds. She screamed and let go of the jewelry. "Give me that!" Delphini used magic to slowly lure the locket near her, and began to create a portal for her escape. "You... can't... leave! Stupefy!" Sarah weakly casted a spark and she was given more time as the locket broke contact with Delphini and slid around the edge, towards the snake-head pipes.
Severus stood there with a shocked face.
That scream.
It sounded so familiar.
"No... NO!"
"Sarah-!"
"Levicorpus!" Severus' body lifted to the air, and spun around. "No, stop it!" Sarah screamed again. "Oh, so you don't like to see the old man being hurt? Impaled by your own spell? Crucio!" She cackled and laughed that it would've pierced ears. "Stop it!" Delphini made her own way to the locket. Yet, before she can swipe it from the floor, it was at the rim before a pool of water beside the snake-heads. It fell deep down God knows where. "Ah! You scroundrels! This is all your fault!" She spun Severus around even more.
"Don't include him in any of this! Let my dad go!"
"I will, once I get the locket." Sarah's teeth gritted so hard she couldn't feel them, and her feet automatically ran to Delphini as her hands grabbed her neck. "I said... let. my. dad. go! Or I swear, this Chamber of Secrets will crumble to the ground!" This wasn't his daughter, her father thought. Sarah wasn't very confident into nearly to killing anyone.
Delphini was losing both oxygen and her balance before her wand flew from her hand and dropped onto the floor. "How dare you-"
Severus' body fell down with a loud thud. "Don't include him in this! Cave Inimicum!" An invisible spell casted around the man's body and he would be protected from any spells they'd use.
"Locomotor Mortis!" Delphini shouted then dove into the water. Sarah's legs binded together. "Goddammit!" She waved her wand to cast the counterspell, and followed. "Lumos" she whispered below the water to find Delphini already holding onto the chain of the locket.
Severus woke up before being confused where the two witches were. He watched the water move furiously, knowing they were under.
"Stupefy!" Delphini shouted underwater as a red flash headed to Sarah. Sarah was quick enough to block her wand and cast the stunning spell back to the witch. Delphini was pushed deeper into the water that made her let go of the locket. Swimming to it, Sarah finally got hold of the locket.
Severus worried while the two weren't surfacing. He didn't know how long his daughter can hold her breath. What could he do? He was too weak to lift his arm, and there was nothing to do to help.
His eyes widened when a body gasped for air as it climbed to the edge then recognized the familiar raven hair. "Sarah!" he called, pounding on the force that kept him in. She glanced at him, and was too late to realise Delphini was right at her tail. She grabbed her neck and forced her down the floor.
"You little b*tch won't last long... now give me the locket or else it will be the end as sh*t for the two of you!"
Daughter and father gasped at what she called her.
Sarah looked at her father and saw him nod.
"You f*cking piece of arse!" she cursed throwing Delphini aside. She scrambled to her feet and they were only feet away from each other. The locket in her hand, she swiftly slipped it in her pocket.
"Where did you drop it, you dumbarse!" Delphini bellowed, unable to find it.
"I..." Sarah said, out of breath, thinking of a lie before the angry witch snapped her head at her.
"I'm going to kill you! No more enchantments! I will find that locket once your dead, b*tch!"
Sarah's eyes widened.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
