I Don't Want To Lose You
"AVADA KEDAVRA!"
{][][}
It all seemed familiar. Ever since she was 11. These... these stupid adventures all over again because of someone trying to kill her. That she's this some kind of 'chosen one' -which, if you'll think about it, she's clearly not- again.
Hunter raised his wand, pointing it threateningly at Severus. He muttered the curse that Lord Voldemort has used on many witches and wizards: "Avada Kedavra!"
Sarah didn't even think twice. The curse shot out a light or rather bolt some sort out of Hunter's wand heading straight for Severus.
Sarah run in front of her father, and blocked him from Hunter's curse. She got hit by it, and she let out a painful shriek after collapsing to the floor.
And Sarah Snape knew she wasn't dealing with Death again. Not after this witch is going to kill her.
Though, this time, this curse was meant for her. Not for Delphini, not for Severus, but for her.
She couldn't save anybody from it but than herself.
Really? Or was there a little friend in her pocket who can?
The locket. If a hex couldn't destroy it, then how much damage can a curse create?
One way to figure out.
Everything around them were as if moving in slow moton as the Killing Curse shot out of Albus' stolen wand. Her mind had to think quickly.
Reaching deep into the pocket of her robes, pulling the locket out with a fine grip on its chain, and she immediately placed it in front of her.
Though it all happened quickly, it was just in time for the locket and Killing Curse to come into contact.
Closing her eyes, her conscience and instinct were already passing the other a bag of galleons if one of them were wrong
In 3...2...1-
Shatter. Boom. Smash. (I'm sorry if I'm ruining the moment, but just think of what a glass shattering would sound like.)
Shatter did the locket went as the damage and anger in Delphini destroyed the wrong victim. The locket shattered into a thousand pieces as it made Sarah fly backward then crash into the wall.
Meanwhile, Severus was still in the back watching and feeling ever so light-headed that he can faint any second.
"No! You stupid child! You little b*tch! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" cried Delphini so angrily her pale face was tomato red. A shaky hand ran through her hair and she pointed the wand again at Sarah.
Well, if only she did have the wand in her hand.
"What the-?!" she cursed at how stupid and ridiculous everything was happening. Now where was the idiot Potter's wand?!
"T-The impact of your curse- argh... ow... destroyed Albus' wand." Sarah groaned from the corner, still trying to regain her strength.
"Fine! Then I'll have to destroy you myself!"
Severus' eyes widened. "Run, Sarah!"
"Thanks, dad! If only I can stand in the first place!" The old man rolled his eyes at the sarcasm and sass she had to obtain from him.
The robes she wore were tangled in her feet that if she were to stand, she would end up tripping on the floor. "You Snapes! I had enough of you both! Your betrayal to my father and his stupid little spawn had to ruin my plans!"
Delphini's feet lifted from the ground and she flew to the spot where Sarah laid. "Dad... what do I do?!" Sarah asked for help. Severus' eyes focused on her. What could he do? He was stuck in her own protection bubble or some sort force field.
'A little kick in the family jewels' he said telepathically, knowing very well she could hear him as Sarah found a way to untangle one leg and aimed for Delphini.
The witch screamed in pain. "B*tch!"
"Professor Snape wouldn't allow that language, hmm." That was the last thing Sarah said before turning into a beetle. It was long since she ever used her abilities in a fight.
"Freak!" Delphini's hands searched Sarah's robes as the beetle Sarah scurried out of her Gryffindor robes. Severus froze at the name she called his own daughter and anger was fuming inside him rapidly.
The Chamber was dark giving Sarah the advantage to sneak behind Delphini's back and turn back into a witch.
Lunging her forward, Delphini fell face flat on the ground. Why was she losing to a 14-year-old so easily?! This was the daughter of Lord Voldemort himself! She wasn't going to allow any of this slip away for after all, she just wanted to meet her parents. At least for one minute.
Sarah's eyes noticed a golden chain in Delphini's pocket.
It was a goddamn time-turner.
"What's this? I thought all were destroyed in the Ministry... unless you used to get it here!" She ran far from her and to her father. "What... what do I do?!"
Severus analyzed the time-turner. It was a very difficult model, yes, but it had to work along with the several ones he had come across.
"Turn that thing around. If she came from the past then maybe... maybe we could send her back. But what date?"
"Could you figure it out? Perhaps there's a thing here that can show when she came from last time..."
"Well, there's... a pattern... Turn it... six- no, seven times! And place it around her neck! Hurry! She's getting up!"
Sarah turned around to see Delphini standing up. She ran towards her and began twisting a piece. "1...2...3...4...."
"Come here and let me kill you myself, Snape!"
".... 5...6.....7!"
She jumped then all of a sudden changed into an animal yet again. A bat.
In mid-air, she placed the locket around her claws. Flying over Delphini, who was too confused to move herself, the time-turner landed on her neck swiftly. It was spinning vigoriously and in no time, Delphini's skin began to disappear. She was leaving this version of the Wizarding World.
"FREAKS!" Delphini bellowed, struggling to pull out her time-turner.
In a snap, she vanished.
"Goodness heavens! You're alright!" cried a woman's voice. It was McGonagall.
"How-"
"Wotcher, Harry! Don't step on my robes!" shouted a familiar red-head's voice.
"Uncle Ron? Uncle Harry? What are you-"
"Long story." Harry replied. "Rose sent us a fast owl in the Ministry and kept on blabbering about you going into the Chamber of Secrets."
"And of course, we knew something was definitely wrong." Hermione stepped out and helped Sarah stand, who turned back into a human the second McGonagall entered.
Severus was released from his somewhat protection force field and ran to his daughter. "Are you alright?!" he asked whilst wiping her face and holding her tightly. "I don't want to lose you so please stop with your adventures."
"Yup, I'm okay-" she breathed before falling into something like a deep sleep.
And everybody watched as Sarah went unconscious.
