Gryffindors Stick Together

Turns out, it was the complete opposite.

"Sarah! We saw the Phrophet!" Oscar Lovegood said, with a look of disbelief. "Of course not." I replied angrily, later there were other people filling in the common room. "We believe so. The Daily Phrophet has been always telling lies, we in the Quibbler will always support Hogwarts, and you." Samantha Lovegood, Oscar's younger sister, said, stepping from behind him.

Everybody nodded themselves in agreement. "I guess she's right. Professor Snape hasn't really been the Dungeon Bat he was used to be ever since your first year, Sarah." Another Gryffindor 6th year spoke, but my head started to pound. "Hey, um, I just need some rest. I don't want to be rude after you all encouraged me, but I'm really tired. See you at dinner." I told them weakly, and climbed up the stairs.

I was about to climb my bed, when I notice I dropped the book, making me trip and land on the bed.

Just. Great.

"Ow..." I said, rubbing my temple, when I looked down to see the Gryffindor Journal. I stared around me and thought of opening up, but this wasn't the time. As I TRIED to sleep, I can't. Rolling around my bed, and moaning of trying to sleep, I couldn't.

And I noticed I've been doing this for 2 and a half hours, so I thought of sneaking out. But before that, I grabbed the Daily Phrophet, placed it on the floor and brought out my wand. "Confringo!" and as what I expected, the paper burst into flames, leaving ashes on the floor.

"Evanesco" and the ashes vanished, leaving the floor clean.

As I slid down the slide of the girl's dormitory, I attempt to walk out. Gladly, the common room was empty, I guess they all went out.

Where can I go?
The Forest? Nah.
Hagrid's? He might not be there.
Dad's office? I don't want him to burst into anger, he does get a temper, maybe even nowadays.
Wait... I haven't visited the Headmaster's office, I probably should go there!

As I was running towards the Phoenix Statue, I suddenly saw dad.

"Dad..." I muttered, he turned around, his face full of fury. "WHAT IS IT?!" he spat at me, "I- I- I'm sor-"

"CAN'T YOU SEE I'M BUSY!!!" he roared, what the bloody hell is angry about? That he was blamed?!

"RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE!" he shouted, my hands were covering my face. Dad must've realized it was me since his face now looked shocked. "Oh no. Sarah, I'm sorry. I thought it was the other stud-"

"I JUST WANTED A BIT OF RESPECT! NOW, IF YOU WON'T MIND, I'M GOING TO RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE SINCE SOMEONE TOLD ME TOO!" I bellowed and ran off. I wiped my face, and tried to look like nothing happened.

I arrived at the Phoenix Statue, and thought of any names of sweets.

"Blood Lollipop...?" Nope.
"Pumpkin Juice?" Nada.
"Um... Drooble's Best Blowing Gum?" Zilch.
"Chocolate Frog." I said in surrender, but the statue moved aside revealing a staircase.

As I climbed the flight of stairs, I looked around the old office. God, I've never come back here for a long time. I stared at Professor Dumbledore's painting, to only see a desk. "Professor Dumbledore...?" I muttered, but nope. I sniffed a bit, and wiped a little tear that almost escaped me.

Oh well.

I walked around and found myself in front of a large book case.

Owls Around The World.
Dangerous Potions and Liquids.
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
...
Predictions and Old Legends.

I stopped at the Predicitons and Old Legends. It was a sort of odd book, a black leather cover, with old and brown pages inside. I rubbed my fingers against the spine, and took it out of it's place.

As I opened it, there were at least a thousand legends and predicitons inside. I thought of reading some, when I saw one prediction called The Lion.

And well... Curiosity got a bit ahead of me.

"The Lion;
An old Legend fore-tolds... that one day, beyond the Pensieve, lies a lion. Here, storms, sickness, and chaos occurs all and all, with no hint of why. There is a myth that a monster lives within a piece of royalty, and the Lion shall destroy it. The Lion had a blood of a serpent, and takes the first letters of the Snake."

I guess I was reading aloud, when a headmaster woke up. "Sorry..." I apologized immiediately, as the Headmaster slept again.

"Just some old blabber..." I whispered to myself,

"I see you've found a rather favorite book of mine." A voice from behind loomed. I flinched, and stared behind to see Professor Dumbledore, smiling warmly at me.

"Good afternoon, Professor." I greeted, he looked at me suspicously, and stared at the book. "You see, Sarah. They may say that... Myths and Legends aren't real. But, there are some that do exist."

>THIRD PERSON<
"What do you mean, sir?" she asked, her face in a curious expression. "I mean, that... not all things people say are true. That maybe sometimes, when wizard or witch cannot find something, they say it isn't real. You see, humans have a bit of flaws, Sarah, and these flaws over take them. So, do you believe in the legend?"

"I-I-I just don't know...?"

"I won't force you, it's alright. But may I ask, why you are here?" the Headmaster asked kindly. "I don't know actually-" but Sarah spotted something. Her voice trailed off, as she traveled near an empty painting. It layed a dark room, more like the dungeon. There were numerous bottles spilled, and there was a vase full of flowers on the desk. A vase full of... Lilies.

"Albus, I-" a voice said, but stopped as it spotted Sarah. "Severus Snape...?" she muttered in confusion, as she turned around, she saw Severus standing. His hair messed up, and his robes dirty. Sarah's face looked angry again. She raced to the door, and intentionally bumped into her father's shoulder. "Sarah-" but the door slammed shut.

"Albus-"
"Go after her."

Severus nodded and ran after Sarah. "Sarah!" he shouted, as he spotted her, she was cornered. The only way was toward the dungeons.

She squealed and tried to run. Her father, having the ability to fly, flew faster and landed back on both feet. As he grew nearer, he grabbed Sarah by the shoulder and pulled her back. "Eek!" she shouted, but was surprised, when her father hugged her from behind.

"You really think that I would shout at you?" he muttered in her ear. Sarah broke free, angry. "Why not?" she asked in a sarcastic tone. "Sarah, I'm sorry. I never meant to say that. I was just angry." he said, trying to make her look at him. "And I should believe that?" she spat at him, but he only smiled.

"You know, you remind me of Lily. But are you really mad at me? Or are you just trying to do something else?"

"Maybe I am... Maybe I aren't." she replied, then sighed deeply.

"Really?"

"You know what? Let's just have dinner." Sarah said, and strided out of the dungeons.

"I win." he whispered to himself,

"I HEARD THAT!" Sarah shouted, laughing in the same time.

Before she can enter the Great Hall, Severus grabbed her wrist, making her stop. "We talk later, understand?" he said to her arching an eyebrow.

After dinner, Sarah went to the Potions Classroom. "Let me guess, I never meant anything I said. And can we just stop this already. Am I right, or am I right?" she asked, "both." A voice said, from behind a dark corner. "I thought- never mind."

"May I just ask if you are still angry at me?"

"I don't know. Am I?"

"Don't play with me,"

"Alright. I'm. Not. Angry. At. You. Happy?"

"Very."
