A Visitor Never Expected

"I swear! If you cowards won't go, then I will!" shouted Sarah, as the other Gryffindors trembled in fear. "But Sarah, what if Professor Dumbledore just said that, but it's not real? He wasn't in his real form after all. He just told you as a painting..? Besides, what use can you do with a hat that can talk?" Rose said. But Sarah shook her head furiously. "It is real, Rose. Albus ge-!"

"No, you won't get my cloak. I'm not allowing you to die out there! Well... not without me -!"

"Fine!" She ran to her trunk and grabbed her wand. As she was about to get out, she realised they placed a locking charm on the dorm door. "Let me out!" she roared. "No! You're staying here!" James shouted angrily.

"Bombarda Maxima!"

"Wha-? SARAH!"

The door burst into pieces and Sarah ran to the first floor girl's restroom, where Moaning Myrtle haunted. Though, she didn't notice that there was a shadow that crept from the dungeons and followed her. Her friends, panting heavily, tried to catch up with a girl running around the halls. Later, they passed McGonagall, who might've took 3 points off Gryffindor due to shock. As Sarah reached there, she inspected the bathroom, when she finally found the pearl white girl. "Snape" Myrtle's usual voice cried, "Hey Myrtle... Um, can I ask you something? Pretty urgent." Sarah said in the best polite way. "Fine"

"You don't reckon there's a, er, so-called hidden place chamber secrets thing around here, do you?" she asked and stared around, hoping to find a passageway or something. "Well, yes. Harry Potter once went through a tunnel just by opening that faucet. Yes, over there." Myrtle's finger pointed towards one of the faucets in the centre of the restroom. "A faucet...? T-Thanks Myrtle..." Sarah said in a doubting tone. "Oh, and make a hissing noise. That's how they got in."

The witch nodded her head and turned to it. "Uh, um... okay then... Ssssss" She said as she tried her best to imitate a snake. How do you talk like a snake, anyways? Parseltongue... wasn't it? The faucet moved aside and opened, revealing a tunnel. As she looked back, people were all banging on the door. "Sarah!"

The door was being pounded on too hard that it seemed it was about to break, causing Myrtle to jump -or float- in fright, then dive into her cubicle. Sarah's face contorted into a shocked expression, and she quickly jumped into the hole, sliding and slithering through the slimey tunnel. It was very dirty that it seemed that this place hasn't been used for years, explaining why her robes caught dirt and moss. In her right hand, was the Sorting Hat, who was strangely quiet, and her wand on the other hand. She landed into a pile of skeleton bones. Well, HUGE skeleton bones. "Er...." she grumbled as she wiped her robes that caught... Blood? "Lumos." And her wand lit up the entire room. "Oh Merlin..." There were four different tunnels, leading either way. She shook her head and walked through one, with her wand held threateningly in case of attack. When she reached the end, another shadow fell into the pile of skeletons and followed her.

"Wait... Snake skin?" asked Sarah quietly, as a pile of large shedded snake skin laid in front of her. She spotted a large door, and crept closer. "Open... Please." But English wasn't really the password. Is this similar to the faucet? She recalled how she sounded earlier, and spoke nervously. Abruptly, 7 statues of snakes unlocked the large circular door. She knew very well she was never brave, unlike her father, to do things like this... Yet with one look back, she stepped in.

Cold water seeped through her shoes and they were completely soaked within seconds. "Coward..." A voice said behind her. She flinched and sensed... something... or more likely a someone.

"Who in the bloody hell are you?!" she asked, whirling around then pointed her wand at whoever it was. It stepped forward for her to see.

A girl with silver hair and blue tips looked at Sarah with a wicked grin.

"The Augery. Daughter of the Dark Lord. They named me Delphini. Delphini Lestrange-Riddle."

Sarah's face contorted into shock, and she backed away, shaking her head vigoriusly. "Lestrange-Riddle...? No... You can't be a..." she stuttered frighteningly. She grabbed her wand and pointed it at Delphini, but the older girl looked at Sarah only amusingly.

"Oh, but I can and I am. You see, Sarah, Slytherin's last and only spare locket, is the only thing that can help me ressurect my father. When the locket finds it's true owner, it can revive any soul that passed away, due to it is made out a stone specially made to revive dead. Thanks to Mr. Potter and Malfoy, I wouldn't be here. And once I kill you, I shall continue my plans with the help that you can help me stay alive. If you weren't here to destroy it."

"I'm... I'm not here to destroy anything!"

"Stop lying you weak little idiot. That legend is just one little thing. But that locket is my entire life's wanting. So give up, so you can still see your old man just like how I can see mine again."

"Expelliar-"

"Crucio!" Sarah ran out of the way off the curse, & Delphini laughed loudly. "Do not feel threatened, Sarah! I know you're scared! Daughter of Snape, pfft. Both of you are cowards."

"DON'T CALL HIM A COWARD!" Sarah bellowed, firing spells. "I know you're the legend, Sarah," she never looked away from Sarah's dark eyes, "because it said so. It was planned by fate, himself. But you know what? I learned something." Delphini walked around the chamber, and her feet slowly lifted from the ground to cause Sarah's face to go pale. "I learned from Albus Potter that you can actually bend the rules. That not all phropecies or legends are true. And this is why I'm going to kill you, Snape." Sarah screamed, and turned into a snake due to panic. What else?! She slithered to the floor swiftly, then jumped into the water near the large snake heads. "Come out, come out wherever you are!" the -she has to admit- beautiful witch yelled, interpretating so much like a crazy azkaban wizard. Well... her mom was one. Where's the locket... Where is the locket... Where is the goddamn locket?! Her mind kept on turning, until she saw a large sculpture of Salazaar Slytherin's face himself. "Imperio!"

She dodged it quickly enough. "Argh! Come back here!" Delphini cried out, as Sarah spotted a shining object laying on the bottom of Slytherin's eye.

And coincidentally, it was the locket.

But how to destroy it?

She returned into a human, and ran the Salazaar face statue. "Petrificus Totalus!"

"No!"

Her entire body froze until Sarah could move no more. "N-No! Let go of... argh!" Her hand slowly fought to move and she pointed it at herself to cast the counter spell. "It doesn't matter if you're on freeze or not, Snape! Avada Kedavra!"

Sarah avoided the curse again and her face reddened more than a tomato. She tried to kill me. SHE TRIED TO KILL ME.

Well, I guess that's what she was trying to do for the past 10 minutes.

"Okay, Daphne- or sorry, whatever your name is. But this crosses the line! You may be Voldemort and Bellatrix -I think so-'s daughter, though never mess with an angry girl. Especially on her period. And especially a daughter of the worst Dungeon Bat you'd ever cross."

"Incendio!"

"Sectumsepra!"

"Stupefy!"

"Levicorpus!" The only spell may have only came to her head randomnly, yet, the daughter of Voldemort rose into the air with Sarah's control. Delphini -finally she remembered the name- screamed a shrill cry then shot a death look. Fight back. It was the only thing you can do to live longer. Delphini began to wriggle and squirm to get down, but Sarah's wand still pointed at her. Sarah's head was now spinning with thoughts. How can she destroy the spare locket? Why would someone even spare it?! And of all thoughts, why does the daughter of Voldemort know the legend and plotting to kill her?!

But Sarah did not notice Delphini reach into her robe, pulled out a wand, and cast a spell on herself.

Wait. The wand looked familiar.

"That's... That wand is Albus'! How did you get it?!"

Delphini smirked mischievously. "I stole it from him. He nearly died trying to save Mr. Malfoy."

"Scorpius?! What? Why would he nearly die trying to save him?"

"I'm not from here, Sarah. And that damn locket belongs in your dimension. If my plan B fails for me to stop my father from almost getting killed at the Potter's, then I don't think I'll be happy to spare you anymore."

"That legend says I have to do something. And I don't know if it means me, but... but better than none. Professor Dumbledore told me what things are happening here. That I need to destroy that locket. I did not go here for nothing."

"That little speech will not convince me. Surrender, Sarah! Or you don't want to end up how Severus' Lily died!" In her words, Sarah's began to boil. "Don't. Include. My. Father. In. This!" she bellowed and fired curses at Delphini only her and her father knew.
"Sectumsepra!"
"Crucio!" She never wanted her father to lose someone again, and it was the only idea that kept her spirit to stay alive after all this time. Delphini cackled with laughter, when Sarah noticed that the Sorting Hat was on the floor. She was curious of what it's purpose can help. As she quickly picked up the Sorting Hat, Sarah thought she felt something heavy inside it... metal.

"Woah!" She shrieked, and pulled out a large heavy iron sword with a ruby at its handle. Delphini stared at it with a clenched jaw. "So you have a sword. And what use can that be than a display. Fight like a real man, Sarah!"
"Problem is I'm not one if you have not noticed!" She ran to the statue towards the locket. "This isn't some kind of scene you'd find in a book, but I know this cat-and-mouse chase will end!"

"Yeah. It will. Because for the past minutes it seemed like you forgot a spell you should've used long ago! Coloshoo!" Sarah yelled, as Delphini looked confusingly at why the witch was tying the sword to a hat. "Stupefy! And what is that, exactly?"
"Accio."
"Hah! Accio does not work on horcruxes or objects like that locket!"
"No. But it will on the sword and the hat!"

Sarah finished tying the sword and hat together then looked at the Salazaar Slytherin statue with narrowed eyes. "Oh no you don't." Delphini shouted, flicking her wand to cast a spell making the locket slide down from Slytherin's forehead to the wrinkle under his eye. "How will your aim reach that then?" she laughed and ran to the statue ahead of Sarah.

"Okay, Sorting Hat. Maybe I asked to be in Ravenclaw and you put me in Gryffindor, but besides that, I'll just accept you're pretty useless right now and that you don't really listen much. But I beg of you, just grab that locket!"

The Sorting Hat did nothing.

"Well, I'll just have to be murdered by some kind of witch that's the daughter of Voldemort then because of you!" And after letting go of the hat, it flew directly across the room. She held her breath for a moment...

"No!"

Delphini screamed as the sword landed right next to the locket. "Still no use. I will get a hold of that locket!"

"Sorting Hat! Grab it! Oh for God's sake- just please help me!"

The Hat sprung to life and it looked rather confused. "And what happen to me? Did something happen to I and thee?"

"NOT THE TIME FOR SONGS. GRAB THE LOCKET PLEASE."

It faced her but quickly followed to see a raged hat-killer with silver hair look at it. The Hat opened his mouth, bit the chain, and screamed. "Accio Sorting Hat!"

The hat flew across the room again, and Delphini was crying so shrilly that a normal muggle would've gone deaf. Her feet lifted from the ground then as she landed, she pointed her wand at her. "Coloshoo!" Her hand grabbed onto the collar of Sarah's uniform and she smiled that did not seem friendly.

"So... You're not, er, going to kill me right because the Hat is just over there...?"

"Oh, I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to hurt you really, really bad."

Delphini's eyes widened as a shadow covered her now pale face. "Good evening, Miss Lestrange-Riddle. Now I command you to release my daughter.... Now."
