Jackson had dropped him off and Arthur had his hoodie up to hide his face. Sarah smiled seeing him, "come on, I have some friends that will keep a secret and keep you safe so we can talk."

She took his hand and walked him to a new restaurant. The Krusty Krab. He never seen this place before and was surprised to see it here. Just because when they walked in, he saw a talking crab.

"Welcome to the Krusty Krab, Mr Joker, it's the home of the Krabby Patty. SpongeBob Me Boy, your friend is here, and she brought a date."

"Coming, Mr Krabs." A voice from the kitchen called out.

"Don't mind, Mr Krabs," Sarah giggled, "he likes attention at his restaurant. When there's attention, there's money for him." She then giggled.

"May I get you two a table?" A octopus asked.

"Hi, Squidward," Sarah smiled.

"...yeah. Table or booth?"

"Uh, how about a booth?"

Arthur then nodded in response.

"A booth for two please."

"Whatever." Squidward then led them to the booth. "Spongbob! Take their orders," He then turned to them, "SpongeBob will be right with you."

After he left, Sarah turned to him, "I asked Mr Krabs for an empty restaurant so you could be safe. I hope you don't mind. And he promises the paparazzi won't know you're here." Sarah smiled, "So uh...about your folks...I did talk to your dad again when we left your place the other night..."

"My dad?" Arthur was confused.

But before Sarah could explain, SpongeBob arrived. "Oooo, bestie! It's so good to see you. I told you Mr Krabs liked the idea to move the Krusty Krab from Fairway City to Gotham. Your bodyguards gotta stay with ya incase something happens."

"And I told you, when the time is right, you and Patrick don't have to be my bodyguards."

Spongebob dropped his smile, "....well hopefully it won't be for another 20 years," he smiled, "now what can I get ya love birds?"

"Sponge!" Sarah gasped.

"Kidding. Just kidding." Spongebob giggled.

"Just a soda and some fries for me," Arthur said leadenly, "and we're not lovebirds. Barely even acquaintances."

"Sorry about that...and a soda and fries. And for you Sarah the usual?"

"Not today, just water and some fries also."

"Alright." SpongeBob smiled and left.

"He can be silly sometimes."

Arthur shrugged, "it's okay. He's just being a friendly server I guess. I just don't want any false rumors getting out about us....you know what the press would be like "the alien and the clown" or something like that."

"Yeah...I have been told by family that heroes and villains can't mix...I learned the hard way...," she rubbed her arm

"Yeah I guess we are like two different breeds of people," he shrugged again, "so are you like.... a real alien? From another planet?"

"...no, uh you see, my family are different than other superheroes, our powers are given by God based on our God Given Talents. My mom is loving and caring mother type so she is like Rubber man, she basically able to stretch farther than human can. My dad loves to wield so he uses it as his power, he also has super strength with it. My sister loves to sing, she can bring things to life or even destroys things with her voice. There's also my aunt who is like Poison Ivy, my Uncle just has super strength, my oldest cousin plays the guitar and have each pick with special elements, my second oldest is a artist so a ghost of the famous Walt Disney gave him a magic paintbrush to create things to life, the third oldest can turn invisible and makes shields, he also has Captain America's shield, they go way back, and the youngest is basically like the Flash...I don't really have true powers like them, my family's friend was the one who gave it to me...it's the Omnitrix..."

"So.... with all those powers combined... how did you wind up being—," he then stopped, "I'm sorry, forget I said anything. Can we get back to what you said earlier? You mentioned my father....again."

"...yeah. That was him you saved. We met years ago...I recently broke up with Rudy at the time and was mad at my father because both of my parents hated him and wanted me to break up with him. I was so hurt because I really liked him, but also knowing by my parents' word he wasn't right, but I didn't at the time. So I ran away being the rebellious teenager that I was. Becky my best friend was worried so she went with me. We found ourselves in Storybrooke where he lived. While we got to know the townsfolk, I spend my time at the shop with him...and then...I told him about The Joker...I was so scared too because he hired a crazy girl to kill my first boyfriend...," she dropped her head, "so I told him...and for the longest time...he is still here...alive...."

Arthur felt bad, he sensed The Joker had an interest in Sarah, but he wasn't sure.

"Sometimes being hero...sucks when the person you have to fight...is the one that fears you the most. I freeze up when I see him...even as my hero self. I am surprised he still doesn't know it's me under the hood and mask." Sarah dropped her head, "I wish I was brave....sometimes, I feel like I am not...."

Arthur remembered then that Jackson told him about Sarah and her time with the Joker. He had been drunk at the time but he could just about remember the details "he's your weakness. You can't help that. We all have them, even villains. So don't be so hard on yourself" he sighed and tapped his fingers on the table, waiting for his soda "but as for my father.....I don't think there's any point me getting to know him. It's a little too late I think, and I know he'd be ashamed of what I am."

"...he was at first...he really cares about—"

"Here's the soda, sorry for the wait," SpongeBob handed the soda and glass of water. And then handed them fries, "and the fries, anything else?"

"We're good," Arthur and Sarah said at the same time. They look at each other and blushed.

Spongebob then made puppy eyes, "awe, well I better go back in the kitchen." He then rushed back in.

"...as I was saying," Sarah blushed, "he really cares about you. I don't know exactly what happened like how you all separated, but I am sure they can tell you. That is when you are ready to see them."

Arthur sighed and took a drink of his soda, "I don't know. I'll have to think about it. I went through a lot of trauma with the woman who adopted me. I'm not really over the whole being adopted thing yet."

"...I'm sorry."

"It's okay, it's just one of those things" he took another drink of his soda "you can tell him that I'll think about it. Can I ask you something else?"

"Sure...anything."

"When we met with me as carnival, you said you'd love to see me again, and to come as myself. Why? You didn't know then that I was your friend's lost son."

"...079 told me you were his son..."

He shook his head "that was afterwards, when your ex showed up and I saved the baby. When we met as carnival , you didn't know who I was. So why did you want to see me again? And as myself?"

"...I guess...I wanted to see the real you?"

Arthur blushed. No one seemed to like his normal look. Only Sarah it seemed. Before they could speak, a customer came in, which they weren't allowed.

"Wrap up those fryers, because I am ready for—" Mr Krabs then grabbed him and threw the customer out the door, "My Leg!"

"Can't you see we're closed!!!?" Mr Krabs yelled.

After awhile, Sarah walked with Arthur down the street. Suddenly they came to the Brothers' Plumber place, "Oh, Arthur, you got to meet my good friends here. Spongebob is one of them and Patrick, but these brothers are also great friends." She grabbed his hand and pulled him in the plumber shop.

"Hello! It's a me, Mario...Sarah? Hey, nice seeing you again, kid." Mario smiled at them.

Luigi smiled seeing Arthur, "and she's brought a friend, Mario!"  He then squealed seeing him, "you guys are so cute together."

Arthur and Sarah then blushed at him and Mario.

"We're not actually together" Arthur clarified "I have a girlfriend. Sarah's just a new friend"

"Ah, that's a shame," Mario sighed, "you look well suited."

"Well, we're not" Arrhur said, "we're too different."

"But you're still friends" Luigi pointed out, "so you can't be that different."

Arthur shook his head, "it's complicated."

"Yeah...anyway this is Mario and that's Luigi." Sarah smiled.

Arthur smiled slightly and shook their hands, "it's nice to meet you guys."

"It's nice to meet you too," Mario and Luigi smiled, "a friend of Sarah's is a friend of ours."

They were walking together again and Arthur decided to buy ice cream for Sarah. He got Chocolate Mint and Sarah got Strawberry. He really like enjoying Sarah's company. She seemed so nice towards him and cared about him.

Sarah then giggled seeing Arthur had chocolate ice cream on his nose.

It was now evening and Arthur walked Sarah back to the apartments. She really wished he could stay, but she understood. "Thanks for hanging out. I really like hanging out with you, Jo," Sarah smiled.

Arthur nodded smiling.

"Oh...incase you want to talk to him...," she handed a piece of paper that had Mr Gold's cellphone number on it. "Even if...you think he wouldn't want to see you, I really think you should...he is a good man, Arthur."

Arthur nodded, "thank you."

She smiled and hugged him which surprised him. "You're welcome." She then let go, "goodnight." She then head into her door and shut the door. Arthur smiled and head back to his hideout.

Harleen though was waiting for him and was mad.
