Rhysand (ACOTAR Character) Modern AU x OC {}

Rhysand's Point of View

My roommates best friends walked in and I smiled. Because, let's be honest, when you're living with someone as long as I've been living with Levana, your friends are her friends and her friends are your friends.

"Hey Mor, Amren. What's up?" Levana jumped down the stairs and the girls screamed. Well, something was up.

"Oh my god! That rock thooooough!!" Mor squealed. Amren fanned herself taking Levana's hand in hers.

"What?" I snapped pulling her into my lap looking at her ring. "Levana you didn't?" I facepalmed and sighed heavily.

"V, he hits you! Why would you say yes to Dagdan?" She stands up rubbing her arm, right where her bruise was, her more recent bruise I should say.

"Rhys, I didn't have a choice. It's the only way Dagdan would let me stay here with you." I give her a glare. Mor and Amren stood watching silently.

"V, I didn't know he hit you." Her friends whispered. Levana slowly took off her hoodie and I gasp.

"Levana, no." Tears welled in my eyes as the world blurred. "What did he do to you?" I ask. Her arms instinctively wrapped around her abdomen, Amren and Mor gasping. Tears slid down our cheeks and I pull Levana into my arms hiding my face in her shoulder.

"Can you give us a moment?" She sobbed looking at her friends. I held her tighter and tried not to get all that gross crying stuff all over her shirt.

Levana tilted my chin up and wiped my tears using her thumbs. "Did you let him?" She closed her eyes tears sliding down her cheeks. I sigh and this time I wiped her tears. "V, you can tell me." I rubbed her back and she finally looked at me.

I love this girl but goddamn she stressed me out so much and I wish she would just get with me instead.

"It's not his Rhys." She trails her thumb over my cheek and sighs.

2 Months Ago

Levana's Point of View

"No! I'm done! Until you get your shit together Dagdan I am done with you and your fucking bullshit." I leave his apartment slamming the door.

"That'll be the last time he ever hits me." I jump down the stairs and push through the door. I get in my car and let out a scream.

I plug my phone in and call Rhysand. "Fuck Dagdan! Properly fuck him!" I clench my teeth as I pull up to the red light. "We're done! How dare he hit me? How dare he Rhys! Until he gets his shit together I'm done!" Rhys sighs and chuckles slightly.

"You said that last time hon." I growl and slam the brakes as I entered our driveway. I hung up on him as I entered the house.

"Don't call me hon!" I snarled in greeting. "And this is the last time!" I huff and collapse in his arms.

"Why did he get pissy this time?" He mused playing with my hair.

"Because we've been together for a year and we haven't fucked. He wanted sex and I said no." I huff again and hug into a pillow. "I don't want him to take my v card. I don't care if we're together when we're 80, I'm not having it!"

He chuckled and kissed my temple. "Why are you still with him?" I shrug.

"Rhys I don't know. I can't even say that I love him anymore. Because I don't." I lock eyes with him and sigh. "I don't want him to hurt you." He stills and leans in.

"I love you Rhys." I whisper kissing him gently. "Five whole years I've been living with you and five whole years you've been my friend and I've loved you for every year but Rhys I couldn't have you." I sigh and lean my forehead against his. "Because you loved Amarantha. When you guys finally split I met Dagdan, and I was so lonely Rhys," he wipes a tear with his thumb.

"I was so sad, and I just wanted someone. He was so great and at first he was just like you, and then he stopped being so much like you and the love just stopped."

Rhysand's Point of View

"I love you Rhys." Levana whispered kissing me gently. "Five whole years I've been living with you and five whole years you've been my friend and I've loved you for every year but Rhys I couldn't have you." She sighs and leans her forehead against mine. "Because you loved Amarantha. When you guys finally split I met Dagdan, and I was so lonely Rhys," I wipe a tear on her cheek with my thumb.

"I was so sad, and I just wanted someone. He was so great and at first he was just like you, and then he stopped being so much like you and the love just stopped."

I hold her closer and kiss her passionately. "I love you too Levana. I always have, but I couldn't just dump her. She was psycho! She almost killed her last boyfriend." She let out a laugh and shook her head.

"Tam probably deserved it." I chuckle this time as she kisses me.

Levana begins unbuttoning my shirt and I take her wrists in my hand as I tipped her chin to make her look me in the eyes. "V, are you sure?" She takes a deep breath and nods.

"I want to be with you."

One Month Later

"I will kill you, your baby and that good for nothing whore Rhysand. So you're gunna say yes, and you're gunna say that baby is mine." My breathing gets caught in my throat as Dagdan begins to choke me harder.

He had accused me of cheating, we were not together. He was stalking me, he followed me to my doctor's appointment, found out I was pregnant and now here we were.

"I'm gonna buy you a ring, and you will say yes. Or else." I roll my eyes and hold my hands up in surrender. He removes the knife from my neck and smiles kissing my cheek. "I missed you V. Wait until you see what I got planned for supper!"

Present

Levana's Point of View

"And that brings us to now." I gulp looking away from Rhysand. "But, I'm going to call the engagement off and send that fucker to jail. I have a whole year of audio recordings, pictures of bruises and the audio that goes with them. I just need someone to come with me."

I lock my eyes with his and putting all my distress into them. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Rhys smiled and laid a hand on my belly and kissed it gently.

"Because I was afraid you wouldn't want me or it. It would have just been better if everyone thought it was Dagdan's." I shrug and he gives me a playful glare then begins giving me kisses all over my face.

I giggle, stopping him. I hold his face in my hands gently kissing his nose. "I love you." I whisper gently. He rubs his nose against mine smiling.

"I love you too." And that was the start of a wonderful life.
