Finally they pulled up outside the hospital and Joker carried Sarah inside. She was quickly put on a gurney and wheeled away.

Buggy came to him, but suddenly the police came to them.

Officer Brooklyn T Guy held his gun out and yelled at the Joker broths, "GET YOUR F*CKING HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!"

Joker and Captain Buggy sighed and held their hands up. Officer Simmons then handcuffed them.

"Don't use Chop Chop...yet," Joker whispered.

"Oh well be sure to let me know when you think it might be a good time" he whispered back .

"Hey, officer what are you charging us with exactly? Rescuing a kidnapped girl?" Joker asked.

"Yeah a simple, "you're welcome would suffice," Buggy chirped in, "I want my lawyer down here, RIGHT NOW! And I get a phone call, I want my phone call!!"

"Mr Gold is our attorney," Joker added.

"Yeah and in case you hadn't guessed I WILL be wavering my right to remain SILENT!!" Buggy yelled.

"Mr Gold? You mean the cheeky old bastard that owns that knick knack store?" Simmons asked.

"SIMMONS!" Officer Guy gasped, "no! We have been trying to catch you boys ever since you stepped into Gotham! Remember? The bank robbery!!!!"

"That cheeky old bastard is a qualified attorney actually," Joker replied ignoring them.

"And I have absolutely no idea what bank job you're talking about. I've never been to Gotham before until today," Buggy added.

"Dont lie! We have surveillance cameras everywhere, the Joker brothers which were you, broke in and stole all the money from the bank!" Brooklyn shouted.

"Pfff clearly you need to be looking for two IMPOSTORS who have stolen OUR identities. As well as 200k from the bank!!" Buggy frowned.

"You and Thee Joker are the only Jokers in this goddamn city. And you're the only goddamn pirate clown!" Brooklyn yelled. "And your stupid nose! What's up with that? Ha ha ha!"

"I-I wouldn't talk about—," but Buggy interrupted Joker.

Without thinking Buggy detached his hand so he could get it out of one of his cuffs, "are you making fun of my NOSE!!!" He gripped him by the throat tightly, "let's see how many people laugh at you, when I rip your ugly face off and wipe my ass with it!!!"

"BUGGY!" Joker panicked.

"Oh yeah. Choke me hard, daddy," Brooklyn gaged.

Buggy frowned, pressed one of his red gas pellets that was attached to his wrist strap and released the red gas which made officer Brooklyn and the others woozy "night night fellas" Buggy's detached fist then punched Brooklyn and knocked him out.

"I'm glad that didn't eschalte to me having to blame that whole robbery thing on you. Because you're the eldest and a bad influence and all."

Joker rolled his eyes as Buggy picked at the handcuffs and they head behind the hospital to get rid of their makeup and outfits. Luckily in their suv they had back up clothes.

Buggy wore his other causal pirate like clothes but wasn't part of his Captain uniform. And Arthur slipped on a sweater and brown pants.

Brooklyn and Simmons groaned waking up, "oh sh!t! They got away!" Brooklyn growled.

"Does that mean no cake mate?"

"What? When did cake come to this?"

After the police left, Arthur and Buggy rushed inside and Arthur went to the pay phone to call his folks, "Mom, we're at the hospital with Sarah" he explained "please can you let her folks know that she's stable and we're here..."

"...Arthur, I've seen pictures of you both on the news. Be careful. Please tell Buggy to use the potion his papa made for him," Belle explained.

Arthur frowned, confused "what potion—?"

"Already used it," Buggy then said from behind Arthur, making him jump. When he turned he dropped the phone in shock because Buggy now looked like he had a regular size and colored nose, "it's an illusion spell. So I don't attract attention in public when I need to lay low," he explained.

They both waited outside Sarah's hallway and Arthur was pacing back and forth looking worried.

"This is ridiculous. I need to find a doctor who can explain what's happening!" Arthur growled and went to the nurses station to ask.

Buggy was gonna calm him down, but he already walked away, so instead he looked around and casual snuck in her room.

There was no nursing staff in there with her so he went over to her. She looked peaceful enough, she was on an IV but no other scary monitors. He sat on the chair beside her bed and took her hand, "I'm sorry Sarah. I let you down again. I'm always too late," he leaned over and kissed her gently on the forehead

Her hand slightly twitched feeling his hand. Once she he felt his kiss, she opened her eyes. Immediately she didn't recognize him so she screamed but Buggy immediately covered her mouth.

"Sssh, It's okay Sarah it's me, Buggy. Sorry. I didn't mean to freak you out."

"B-Buggy?" Her voice sounded weak. She reached out and felt his nose. It wasn't the same nose. It was a normal nose, "n-nose?"

"Don't worry, it'll be back. This is just an illusion spell so I can look normal in public. Looks weird and gross, huh," he nodded.

"...liked...old nose..."

He smiled, "the old nose likes you too. Anyway, are you alright? I'm sorry I let you down again. I thought Arthur would be with you, protecting you."

"...no...you...didn't...I don't...think he...did it..." she looked down shaking.

"Well he'll never do it again," he gently tweaked her nose "oh by the way, you aren't mad at me are you? It's just Luffy told me you radioed for me yesterday and then basically signed off without waiting to speak to me."

"....Arthur hurt me by saying somethings...it sounded like...he was making it sound like it was my fault....but it wasn't...I thought maybe...you would wanna be with me instead of me being with Arthur...then Luffy told me you were busy...with some girl."

"Wait, are you saying you were jealous?" he was in shock, but couldn't keep from giggling slightly, "Vida is another pirate captain she has her own crew. We were busy trying to navigate because Luffy got us all lost."

"...wait...really, you weren't fooling around with...her?"

"With Alvida, seriously? Of course not. I'm pretty sure if that even just happened in a dream I'd wake up mentally scarred."

"...," she held her arms out to him. He smiled and hugged her, "I missed you...I missed you...a lot, Buggy...Wuggy..."

Buggy laughed, "I missed you too, Sare-bear."

He then pulled back and remembered he had something for her, he pulled out a hand knitted doll of Captain Buggy. "I heard you're a Captain Buggy fan then just Joker...," he shrugged.

Sarah blushed and held him.

"Well at least if I have to go away again you'll always have mini-bug with you."

She teared up and hugged Buggy tightly.

"Sarah, you'll have Arthur," he said softly, to reassure her. He then looked into her eyes with his bright jade green ones "we both know that he's the one you want. That's why I would've been your second choice."

"...., I know, but...you're also very important to me...I would ...do something if something ever happened to you."

"No, no no! Don't ever say that, ever. You need to stick around without me and eventually become a mom and all that jazz. And any way I ain't dying anytime soon, who knows maybe one day I'll be a dad and our kids will be.....half....cousins."

Sarah squeezed his hand tightly crying.

He gently wiped her tears away with his free hand, "I hope those are happy tears."

"Kinda...I'm still...scared..."

He then heard the doctors and nurses coming so he quickly ran into the bathroom and hid.

Outside, Arthur got to talk to the nurses and they said she was rested. Finally both his family, her family, and bowser came.

"We were so worried about you," Catherine said, hugging her "thank heavens you're safe."

"Yes, you have us quite a fright there," Gold said

Arthur stood by the bottom of her bed with his mom and dad, wanting to give her some space with her family but he also just wanted to hold her hand.

"M-mom...I-I need to speak...alone with you...and dad...please...," she said in her raspy voice.

Catherine nodded "oh, of course dear"

Buggy was still stuck in the bathroom but wanted to respect her privacy. He knew it would look weird if he came out now, so he climbed out through the restroom window.

Once everyone left Catherine sat holding her hand, "What is it sweetie?"

Caleb sat in the chair next to her and listened.

"...when...I was kidnapped..and been gone for 2 months...it was The Joker...but he threatened me to never tell you or anyone for what he did to me...while he had me...because he would...kill anyone that I tell..., she then teared up.

Catherine began to tear up and Caleb covered his mouth in shock.

"Oh my poor sweet girl," Catherine hugged her tightly, "I'm so glad you managed to escape. But how did you get away?"

"....two people with him...save me...but I wish they saved me right away...because...he...beat me and...r-ra.."

Catherine burst into tears and broke down sobbing as she held Sarah.

Caleb was so angry and felt sick, "that monster. I hope he pays for what he's done."

"...he..he planed this...since I was...4 years old...he watched us...," she shivered.

Caleb and Catherine couldn't handle hearing this, it just got worse the more she told them. It was breaking their hearts to know what their little girl had gone through. The more Sarah told, the more her heart couldn't take it. It felt like someone was trying to rip it out. She panicked and gripped on her chest whimpering in pain.

Catherine went to get the nurse and they came and gave her something to help keep her calm. Catherine sat beside her on the bed holding her while Caleb sat beside her holding her hand.

Sarah was struggling. She was seeing a see through of The Joker trying the to strangle her. She tried to push the nurse away screaming.

But then Catherine came and held her and her father held her hand as she broke down.

"The police have some questions for you about what happened today, but they're going to wait until you feel ready."

When the nurse said this, Sarah shivered hugging her mother, "It's fine Sarah, you're safe and in hospital. You're not alone," Catherine reassured her, "we'll stay with you until you're ready to come home."

"I'm scared...I'm scared...he was...trying to kill me...but it's impossible...Joker killed him...he and Captain Buggy saved me."

Catherine and Caleb looked at each other in shock.

"Well, he's certainly dead. He was found shot and stabbed. But that doesn't mean he won't still be affecting your mind," the nurse said, "hopefully therapy will help whenever you feel ready."

Caleb then noticed the Buggy doll, "I can see why you'd have this. I guess the pirate and the clown are your heroes."

"...," she nodded.

Cale and Catherine didn't see them as heroes and Catherine didn't think Buggy was Captain. But Caleb sensed it especially Arthur being Joker.

"Buggy gave it to me... since he knows the pirate personally."

"Which is probably why he has that unhealthy obsession with him, dressing like him and everything" Catherine said.

"......strange how they both have the exact same nose deformity" Caleb said.

""......maybe he's the man who attacked Belle. It could be his real father."

Caleb wasn't buying it, "he isn't old enough to be Buggy's father."

"They are close...to the same age..," Sarah added. "But can we bring the others now?"
