It was now Halloween, and Jr and Joesph were getting ready. Sarah was going to pick them up and take them trick or treating. Jr was dressed up like a little piglet, and Joesph was dressed as Spiderman their favorite "fictional" superhero.

"Hey, dude!" Joesph said, when Jr opened the door when he arrived.

"Hi, Joesph, did Sarah come yet?"

"Uh, no. Not yet, dude."

"She will be here, just be patient, Jr." Pee Pee said.

He was right. Soon Sarah arrived and dressed up as the new hero in Gotham she adored, Joker. "Hey guys."

"Dudette! You're Joker!" Joesph squeaked.

"Great a villain costume," Pee Pee sighed.

"He's not a villain, Chief Pee Pee!" Jr said, "he's a hero. He saves people."

"Oh no. Not this again, just go you stupid brats," Pee Pee said and shut the door.

"...I still think it looks cool, Sarah," Jr smiled.

"Now you guys be safe and no going over the east side," Catherine reminded them. She was a little over protective but she had her reasons, "Is Buggy going with you? He'll keep you safe. Go call for him."

"We will meet him at the shop," Sarah called.

"This would be our first time to meet Buggy, and Mr Gold," Jr said. He met Belle at the library and was super excited.

They came to Mr Gold's pawnshop and Sarah knocked on he door. Once it opened, Jr and Joesph called out, "Trick R Treat."

"Smell my feet, give me something good to eat," Joesph added and giggled.

Mr Gold smiled and gave them some candy, "I'd rather not smell your feet if you don't mind" he then admired all of their costumes "well you all look very good."

Gold smiled, "thank you Sonny. You've made Rumpelstiltskin very happy."

"You're welcome, so uh...Sarah..I mean, Miss Joker here says we will meet Buggy here? Is he ready?" Jr asked.

Gold sighed "Buggy's in his usual clothing. There's no need for him to dress up for Halloween, he wears a costume everyday. Funny boy."

Gold then called to Buggy and told him to hurry.

Finally Buggy came down wearing his usual pirate outfit and his clown makeup. He smiled when he saw Sarah, walked up to her and gently grabbed her face and kissed her forehead "Hey you, well don't you look good as a clown!"

Sarah giggled and hugged him.

They then said goodbye to Mr Gold and head to every house in town. Jr and Joesph were thrilled getting a lot of candy. But he and Joesph were surprised there weren't many costumes of their heroes Captain Buggy and Joker. They were new heroes in the city and in their town, but many people didn't see them as heroes, but more of villains. Only Sarah and Buggy were the only ones dressed as them. Some people around their ages whispered and laughed seeing their costumes. It just made Jr mad seeing them make fun of them.

A teenage boy passed by and muttered, "pfft that's the worst Buggy outfit I ever saw. And a woman Joker, now that is a joke."

Buggy frowned and turned and grabbed the boy, scaring him, "You MORON obviously don't know a decent costume when you see it. Now apologize to the lady!!"

"I-I'm sorry, Miss," he stuttered to Sarah.

Jr was surprised for how Buggy handled him.

Buggy smirked how he succeeded and set him down. Sarah rubbed her nose which he noticed she was starting to cry so he took her hand and held it. Sarah blushed under her makeup feeling his hand holding hers. He was so sweet and knew how to comfort her.

Soon trick or treating was over so they dropped off Jr and Joesph home and Buggy walked Sarah home, "thanks for hanging out with us, Buggy. I think the little ones liked you." Sarah smiled.

"Of course they liked me, I mean, what's not to like?" he chuckled, "so long as you had fun. That little shithead shouldn't have upset you like that. Nobody upsets my Sarah," he gently tweaked her nose.

She giggled. She then hugged him. She then kissed his cheek. "Thanks. I'm glad you're my best friend."

"Really, im your best BEST friend? What about Joseph??" he teased.

"He's just a little kid. They are like 6, Buggy," She giggled.

Buggy chuckled also, but then blushed. He did like her. Like it was a crush. But this wouldn't be right. That's how he felt. He maybe 15 years old, but he felt like a brother but also had romantic feelings for her. He wanted to kiss her, but shook the thought.

She then held his face and kissed Buggy on his red nose which made him blush, "night, Buggy." She then head inside.

Buggy blushed when she did that. He was always sensitive about his nose, but Sarah was so kind to him. "...Night," he said softly. He then walked back to the shop. He and his father closed up and headed back home which their house was next door to Jr's.

Buggy washed off his makeup and took his hat off. He then plopped on his bed and smiled looking up at the ceiling. He was just glad he got to hang out with Sarah and the kids she was babysitting. He sensed Joesph liked him a lot than Jr. the little rascal asked him a lot of questions about Captain Buggy since Buggy said he knew the real Captain Buggy personally. It was kinda silly no one suspected he was the heroic Captain Buggy, I mean his name was kinda giving it away. And especially his big red clown nose. He wondered how his friend Joker was doing since he reside in Gotham with his mother Penny Fleck. But the two of them didn't know something...which would be revealed 5 years later...
