Sarafina's POV

Harry and I are finally teaching the DA the patronus charm. It's Seamus' first official meeting and he put his name on the list. I demonstrated the patronus charm with Harry before we started to teach it to the others. I'm helping people find their happiest memory while Harry works on the incantation and wrist movement. "Come on Ron think about when you finally got Viktor Krum's autograph" I tell him quietly.

He does so and a Jack Russel patronus shot out of his wand and knocked poor Neville over. "Brilliant Ron and you to Ginny" I say smiling at my little sister's horse patronus. I then watch a bunny patronus shot out of Luna's wand and hop around the room. Meanwhile an Otter patronus swam around Hermione.

Smiling I walk over to Neville and help him up. "Happier memory Neville" Harry encourages him when silver wisps shot out of his wand.

"I'm trying" Neville tells him and Harry just gives him an encouraging smile. Before going to admire Cho's swan patronus.

"Neville do you remember the time you told me about. When your mother first hugged you and your father recognized you as his son?" I ask him.

"Yes, it's the happiest I've ever felt" he states smiling.

"Then try it, it does not matter what others think of the memory. It only matters what it means to you" I tell him smiling. He tries it and a toad patronus shots out of his wand. "Amazing Neville" the twins praise him.

"Yeah, I knew you could do it" I say smiling. Suddenly a frantic Dobby appears. Harry talks to him quietly while holding him so that he'd stop hurting himself.

Suddenly Dobby starts to bang his bare feet on the ground. He shouts "Yes, Harry Potter, yes!"

"What are you waiting for? Run!" Harry shouts at all of us.

"Don't return to your common rooms, it's not past curfew" I instruct.

"She's right go to the library or bathroom, they're closer" Harry adds.  Everyone runs out the door.

"Harry, come on!" Hermione shouts. Harry ordered Dobby back to the kitchen as well as not to tell Umbridge he'd warned us or to hurt himself.  Dobby thanked him and disappeared. I grab the list of DA members and start to run towards the bathrooms with Harry.

"Aghh!" I hear Harry shout and turn. Only to be bowled over by Harry. "Sorry Sarafina" he says as I get up and I turn to see Draco.

"Tripping jinx Potter" he says smirking. But it disappears when he sees me.

"You won't catch everyone" I tell him and scrunching up the list. I toss it into the air and point my would at it. "Incendio" I say it disappears in a burst of flames as Umbridge appears. She disarms Harry and I.

"Excellent, Draco, excellent, oh, very good fifty points to Slytherin! I'll take them from here stand up, Potter!" Umbridge instructs. "You go see if you can round up any more of them, Draco. Tell the others to look in the library anybody out of breath check the bathrooms, Miss Parkinson can do the girls ones off you go" she tells him.

"Now you two" she says in a falsely sweet voice grabbing Harry's arm tightly. "Are going with me to the Headmaster's office" she states. Wewere at the stone gargoyle within minutes. While I wonder how many of the others had been caught. She practically sung "fizzing wizzbees" and the gargoyle allowed us through. We climb the staircase and enter the office.

Dumbledore was there with McGonagall, Fudge, Kingsley, another auror and my brother Percy. "Hey Perce, how's the new job going?" I ask him sweetly. He just gives me a stern look not answering my question. I notice the portraits of old heads were not shamming sleep as usual tonight. All of them were alert and serious, watching what was happening.

"Theywas heading back to Gryffindor Tower" Umbridge states.

"Yeah because it was ten minutes before curfew, we were studying in the library" I lie. "Then my boyfriend Draco Malfoy tripped Harry for no reason" I state. "I demand to know why we were brought here" I add.

"You don't know why Umbridge brought you here?" Cornelius asks. I shake my head and he looks at Harry who says 'no'.  "So you have no idea, why Professor Umbridge has brought you to this office? You are not aware that you have broken any school rules?" he asks.

"No, you?" Harry asks me and I shake my head trying to hold back a smirk. This is so much fun pushing their buttons.

"Ministry decrees?" Cornelius asks us.

"Don't know, there are some many have been made. It's hard to keep up with them all" I say shrugging.

"So, it's news to you both, that an illegal student organization has been discovered within this school?" Cornelius asks.

"Yes, it is" Harry and I answer together.

"I think, Minister. We might make better progress if I fetch our informant" Umbridge states.

"Oh please do" I say sweetly. I want to see who the sneak was and how well my spell worked.

"There's nothing like a good witness, is there, Dumbledore?" Cornelius asks him.

"Nothing at all, Cornelius" Dumbledore says inclining his head. Umbridge soon reappearsgripping by the shoulder Cho's curly-haired friend. Marietta, who is hiding her face in her hands.

"Don't be scared, dear, don't be frightened" Umbridge says softly patting her back. "You have done the right thing. The Minister is very pleased with you. He'll be telling your mother what a good girl you've been. Marietta's mother, Minister is Madam Edgecome she's been helping us police the Hogwart's fires" she explains.

"Jolly good" he says smiling. "Like mother, like daughter, eh? Well, come on, now, dear, look up, don't be shy. Let's hear what you've got to... Galloping gargoyles!" he shouts seeing her face. The word 'SNEAK' was written across her nose and cheeksin a series of close-set purple pustules. I hold back my proud smile at my spells work.

"Never mind the spots now, dear. Just take your robes away from your mouth and tell the Minister what you told me" Umbridge tells her. But Marietta wails shaking her head keeping her face covered. "Very well, you silly girl, I'll tell him" Umbridge snaps. "Well, Minister, Miss Edgecome here came to my office shortly after dinner this evening. She said that if I proceeded to a secret room on the seventh floor, I would find out something to my advantage. I questioned her a little further and she admitted that there was to be some kind of meeting there. Unfortunately, at that point this hex, came into operation and upon catching sight of her face in my mirror the girl became too distressed to tell me any more" she explains.

"You did exactly the right thing. Now, will you tell me what happened at this meeting? What was its purpose? Who was there?" Cornelius asks her. But she refuses to speak. "Haven't we got a counter-jinx for this? So she can speak freely?" he asks.

"I've been trying and have yet to find one" Umbridge states. Oh there is one, but only me or a fully trained healer will no it. "You will remember, Minister, that I sent you a report back in October that Potter had met a number of fellow students in the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade" she adds.

"And your proof of this?" McGonagall asks her.

"I have testimony from Willy Widdershins, Minerva, who happened to be in the bar at the time" Umbridge says smugly.

"Oh, so that's why he wasn't prosecuted for setting up all those regurgitating toilets" McGonagall states. One of the portraits complain about how the ministry never used to make deals with petty criminals in his day.

"The purpose of this meeting was to persuade them to join an illegal society, whose aim was to learn spells and curses the Ministry has decided are inappropriate" Umbridge states.

"You're wrong professor" I tell her sweetly.

"She's right,I am sure neither deny that they were in the Hog's Head that day. Nor that they were trying to recruit students to a Defense Against the Dark Arts group" Dumbledore states.

"I am merely pointing out professor is is wrong to suggest that such a group was, at that time, illegal. If you remember, the Ministry Decree banning all student societies was not put into effect until two days after the Hogsmeade meeting, so we were not breaking any rules at all in the Hog's Head" I explain smiling. Percy looked as though he had been struck in the face by something very heavy. Fudge remained motionless in mid-bounce, his mouth hanging open.

"That's all very well Miss Weasley" Umbridge says recovering first. "But we are now nearly six months on from the introduction of Educational Decree Number Twenty-four. If the first meeting was not illegal, all those that have happened since most certainly are" she states.

"Do you have any evidence that any such meetings continued?" Dumbledore asks her. While I notice Kingsley mutter something under his breath.

"Why do you think Miss Edgecome is here?" Umbridge asks.

"Oh can she tells us about six months worth of meeting?" I ask curious.

"I was under the impression that she was merely reporting a meeting tonight" Dumbledore states. Umbridge asks her and Marietta  shakes her head. When Umbridge tries to shake her Dumbledore burns her hands. "I cannot allow you to manhandle my students, Dolores" he says looking angry.

"You want to calm yourself, Madam Umbridge.  You don't want to get yourself into trouble, now" Kingsley tells her. Cornelius then reminds of the meeting they know did happen tonight.

"Yes, but it appears that they were forewarned of my arrival. However, because when we reached the seventh floor they were running in every direction" Umbridge tells him. "But Miss Parkinson did recover this" she states holding up a piece of paper. "Someone tried to destroy it, but I repaired it" she says proudly handing the DA list to Cornelius.
